Okay, I'm thinking of updating this story weekly. School is beginning to hog up my time again, and gosh, it kills me inside. x]

But I could only update this, I guess, by having a regular count of 10 comments, a maximum of 2 comments per person, every week.

Could you guys be able to satisfy this? x] I hope so.

I'd update weekly if I reach a regular count of comments. It helps me a lot to see people giving their thoughts in my story. It really makes me happy.

Anyway, you would hear Selene's first debut song in this chapter, and I will now warn everyone.

The next chapter is going to be a sad one. Seriously.

That is because that chapter would contain something which is actually true. For I experienced it.

My eyes reluctantly opened to my bedroom at dawn. The color of the sky was still bordering between the edges of royal blue and indigo, and everything was still silent, except for the familiar tune echoing throughout my room. Even the sounds of my bedsheets rubbing with the fabric of my dress is nothing compared to the sound of the song.

I held my breath at whatever possibility is looming around, because that SHINee song was the MP3 I assigned as call tone for one and only one person.

Key Sunbae.

"Yobosaeyo? Key Sunbae?" I asked on the phone, lying on my side. The voice that replied was just too familiar and distinct in its entirety. It can only be him, and what I thought was correct. It really is him.

"Selene-ah, can you open the door for me? I don't have the keys to your apartment, you know...." He trailed off, and I immediately got off my bed and went to the door. Upon opening, my eyes grazed over the form of the SHINee member, holding two plastic bags in one hand, his cellphone on the other.

"Pardon me if I interrupted your sleep. I was supposed to sneak in just like last time, but I forgot to ask HeeSung Sunbae for the keys." He said awkwardly as I let him inside my apartment, allowing him to work again in my kitchen.

"You know, everything feels so familiar. You preparing my breakfast and all..." I said, trailing off, and I heard Key Sunbae chuckle.

"Japan feeling all over again?" He jokingly asked me, and we both couldn't smother up our laughs. I just shrugged my shoulders, restraining my smiles, deciding to answer.

"Maybe, but not quite. Are we gonna go to the mall and the park today?" I asked him, and I laughed as he nodded.

Okay, it's confirmed. Japan adventure: the rewind is underway.

"You got me there." Key Sunbae said, as I began to laugh. He smiled at me, and I returned the gesture.

Let me guess. You're gonna wear disguise yourself again.

As if on cue, he suddenly spoke.

"I'll be wearing a disguise, too." He told me, and as laughter erupted from my frame, I tried to suppress it. I sighed as I finally got control over the sound and went to where Key Sunbae was. I washed some plates I had in hand in the sink beside him, smiling as I spoke.

"Just like in Japan."

Not everything that happened was exactly like how it is back in Japan, because we did the exact reverse of our agenda then. We went to the mall first, then to park. I brought home a total of 6 shoping bags, which contained not only shoes and clothes, but as well as accessories. Surprisingly though, Key Sunbae didn't buy anything. We hung out in the mall for about 5 hours, excluding the 2 hours we spent in eating lunch and a few snacks. After going home for a bit to free me from the baggage, we went to the park, and we stayed there as the sun begun to set.

"I can't believe it. I passed exams, and just two days from now, I'll start a new lifestyle, going back and forth from Daegu and Seoul. We needed to prepare for school early." He told me after a long silence we had as we looked at the setting sun. I just sighed before crossing my arms over a post and resting my chin on it.

"So, you'll be leaving that quick, huh? That is really something, Key Sunbae." I can't help but say as I momentarily look at my Sunbae, who was just staring into space. He nodded, then sighed.

"I'm gonna miss you though. My donsaeng wouldn't call me 'Oppa' anymore." He suddenly joked, and chuckling for a moment, I hit him gently on the shoulder.

"Yah! When will you get it that we're just the same age, Key Sunbae?" I asked him jokingly, and I laughed out loud, encouraged by the same sound resonating from him. I ran my hands over the fabric of my outfit, taking a deep breath after the laughing fit.

We settled into silence shortly until Key Sunbae suddenly took one of my hands.

"Seriously though, I'll miss you. I wouldn't see you as much as I do now. Most probably, I'll text you when I get to Daegu. Always reply, okay?" He asked me, and I smiled, noticing that he was being all "umma" again.

"Arasso, Umma. If you say so..." I trailed off, feeling that Key Sunbae laced his fingers with mine. Everything passed by quietly after that, and I somehow wondered why he still wasn't making comebacks about him being more of an oppa rather than an umma. He just held my left hand with his right, then did the same thing I did, resting his chin on a post with one arm as support.

"ShiRin-ah..." He softly called my real name, and I replied with a soft "Hmmm?" to him. He looked straight into my eyes and his hold on my hand tightening as he stared at me longer.

"I might not be able to see you when you prepare for your debut anymore, and I doubt I'll be able to spend Christmas with SHINee and you, just like what we talked about back in Tokyo. But I promise you that I'll do all I can to stay close friends with you. No matter how busy I am, I always make time for my friends, and you're one of them. So, don't hesitate talking to me, arasso?" He asked me, and I just smiled as I heard how he treats me as a friend. It's just been a few months, and we're already friends?

"Promise me that you won't think twice about sharing to your friends. You'll never know that they are actually what you need the most." He told me, and I smiled even more as I saw him hold out his pinky. I intertwined my own pinky with his, seeing in Key Sunbae's eyes something amazing... how he loves his friends.

I wish I could be that caring to my friends too.

"Hey, I'll be heading home already. I think I've had too much walking in one day. By the way, you're bad. You wanted to go to the mall, but you never bought anything! Unfair..." I told Key Sunbae and pouted in the process. He just laughed softly while shaking his head.

"Whatever. I wanted to bring you back to you apartment, but manager Hyung called me. He's already arranging everything for my return to Daegu." He told me, and I nodded.

"It's fine. I wanted some time to think anyways. I need some time to think, since S.E. and S.M.E are planning to divide my debut into two parts, the light Selene and the dark Selene." I said, smirking a bit at Key Sunbae.

I already turned my back to leave, but out of the blue, I felt myself spin around and collide to Key Sunbae's chest.

"Key Sunbae..." I murmured, and I held both my arms around him as well.

"Selene-ah, do well in your debut, okay? I want my friend to win many newcomer awards. I don't want a dongsaeng who couldn't win an award, okay?" He asked me, and I nodded in our embrace.

Then and there, I knew everything.

Key Sunbae is one friend who made his own mark in my life, as a Sunbae artist, and a person.

"Ain't no other man, can stand, up next to you..." I softly sang an excerpt of the song I'm going to promote in the first part of my debut, now walking down the hallway to my apartment. But when I got to the door, I was shocked to see someone slouching down on the floor, back against the wall.

I approached the figure and almost gasped at who I saw.

"Omona... JongHyun Sunbae?" I asked rhetorically as he stood up from his position and looked at me straight in the eye, and I gasped at the sight of his eyes with tears.

"Why are you crying? Did something happen?" I asked, and in a split second, I experienced the shock of my life.

Why? It's because...

He took me into his arms and embraced me, sobbing on my shoulder.

"ShiRin-ah, I'm scared..." He said in between his sobs, and I my eyes widened. He wouldn't call me like that unless it's something really important, that's what he promised me yesterday.

"Wae-yo?" I asked him, and he just held on to me tighter. I ran a hand up and down his back to somehow calm him down.

But I stopped all motions when I finally heard him speak.

"Someone attempted to kill Kyung-ah today."
