51. Wow. =]

Thank you very much for all of you that take the time to read my story.

I haven't thought of having this much subscribers, and I really thanky ou big time for supporting my story.

So, as a treat for everybody that helped me reach 51 subscribers, here's another chapter.

December 11, 2010

9:16 A.M.

"YOSH!"

I said this to myself as I went inside the practice room, looking for a place where I can put my bag. It's still early for practice today, about 9 in the morning, especially if you stayed up until 12 or 1 the night, or morning, before. But, I had to trade a few hours of sleep, I'm still reviewing my languages along with the training. I'm thankful I can speak English fluently still, but I'm starting to get worried about my Japanese. My Filipino is still cool, and French is fine.

Oops. Did I tell you guys that I began to study French recently?

Well yeah, I'm studying French. It's because to get the copy of my form 137, I had to re-enroll in an elective subject for about 2 months. I chose languages, French specifically. Why? Well, I just wanted to know the je m'appelles and the merci beaucoups of the language. What's wrong with that?

Well, anyway, I better start rehearsing now. After an hour, HeeSung-ah is gonna send someone to me to the location for the video filming of my slow song "When It Was Me" which would segue to the debut of the dark Selene by February. We had to start filming for the second video early because when the mini-album becomes repackaged, this would be a bonus video. SME had to act quick and prepare.

"Okay. Let's do this."

9:40 A.M.

"...Na-na-na-na. Hey-hey-hey, goodbye."

I couldn't hide my sigh as I finished running the second dance song in my mini-album, which is "Goodbye". I'd be performing this on SME's Christmas Party, since the administration wanted to see me perform before I officially debut.

I've done "Ain't No Other Man" and now, this one. I've also studied "When It Was Me" and listened to another demo track. Whew. Even at 9 in the morning, I had to do so much. It's really stressing, and I wondered how big-time idols like SHINee can be able to handle all this.

Suddenly, my thoughts got cut by an embrace from behind. And a voice followed.

"Hi, Selene-ah. Just done with rehearsing 'Goodbye', I see..."

I quickly turned around and hugged the man back, smiling as his hold tightened.

"Onew Sunbae, when did you get in here?" I asked as I pulled back to see my Sunbae's smile.

"Well, I've been here about 20 seconds before you finished performing. Why?" He asked me back, and I just shook my head. I just asked out of curiosity anyways.

"Nothing. By the way, what's with the set of clothes you're wearing?" I asked him, and he smiled a bit more before awkwardly running his hand through the back of his head.

"Well, I'm gonna bring you to the location, so fix yourself up. You'll be riding in SHINee's van. MinHo-yah is filming. Key-ah still isn't around since he left right after the Golden Disk Awards. He just made an emergency return here anyways. But, the maknae is present. TaeMin-ah is waiting in the van for you..." He trailed off, going to the door and holding out a complete outfit set for me.

Aigoo, HeeSung-ah. Must you ALWAYS be this detailed?

"That's gonna be your outfit for the video already, and your make-up will be done there by the coordi noonas. Your normal change of clothes are already there too." He added, and I couldn't help but chuckle.

Aigoo, as expected from HeeSung-ah, nothing about detail will be able to pass through her.

Just during the filming of Ain't No Other Man, she did the EXACT SAME thing.

"Okay, please wait for me, Sunbae. I'd be really quick." I said, and I nodded as I heard a soft and gentle "Sure." from the SHINee leader. I looked at my wristwatch as I went to the dressing area, a room inside the rehearsal room itself.

Well, come to think of it, it's only just 9:40... it's early... somewhat.

I guess I have to adjust to earlier or later changes in time. After all, I'll be a facing a lot of that when I debut.

9:55 A.M.

"Noona!" I heard the excited exclamation of TaeMin-ah as I climbed inside SHINee's van. I greeted him back with a smile and wave. He stretched his arms out for a hug.

"Ei, TaeMin-ah. How are you?" I asked him as I sat down inside the vehicle, returning the hug the SHINee member gave me.

"I'm still me. Just very happy because of the awards SHINee got in the Golden Disk Awards." He answered, which earned him a smile from me.

"By the way, congratulations on that. I watched it via podcast. Good for you guys." I said, holding out both my arms to have a group hug with the maknae and the leader of the group, who had just taken a seat beside me. So, I'm pretty much between two idols.

"Hyung, everything's ready. Let's go." Onew Sunbae said, and the driver nodded before beginning to drive.

"Onew Sunbae, did you think I'd miss your high note fail during your Lucifer performance?" I began to joke as we went on our way, and at this, TaeMin-ah burst into laughter. I knew what happened to him during his Lucifer performance because I was able to watch it. He failed while reaching a high note.

"Don't even ask. Aish, this hoobae of mine..." Onew Sunbae began before suddenly tickling me at my sides. I exploded into a fit of laughs along with TaeMin-ah, struggling to get away from him. Gradually he stopped and his face became serious.

"Man. Even I was under stress! I was wondering why my voice wasn't being projected through the speakers. Turns out, my mic had a technical problem, and it couldn't be ! It started after the popping part, and gosh, it continued until the end! I was so mad while performing. I think I made expressions during the time we were on stage. I just had the upper hand because looking angry is what the song needed." TaeMin-ah told me, and I just ran a hand up and down his back. He had quieted down enough for him to be able to speak.

"I was redder than a tomato after that fail, Selene-ah. I just continued singing. Gosh. When I got backstage I almost cried. The fans still clapped for us even with that." He said, and TaeMin-ah added in his own comment.

"Well, yeah. ShaWols really are understanding fans. No matter how many mistakes we have and how frequently we do them, they still love us. That's why I'm really proud I'm in SHINee. First, Jjong Hyung, now, this..." He trailed off, and as he mentioned JongHyun Sunbae's nickname, my thoughts shifted to him.

"Yeah. But wait. Is JongHyun Sunbae still resting? Last time I checked, he didn't even dance with you during your Lucifer performance." I asked the both of them, and the two SHINee members nodded. TaeMin answered me after a few moments.

"Yeah. Well, now, he's fine. He can walk. Technically his ligaments are fit to be used, according to the doctor. But, he reminded him not to use them excessively. He can be able to walk for the whole day, and the pain won't get to him. But dancing is still a no." He said, and I nodded in understanding.

I see.

"I guess you guys already know about the JongKyung couple." I said, and I lookeed on as thier expressions began to turn more serious.

"Yup. I never knew that SeKyung Noona could be that harsh. Just because Hyung wasn't there when she was going to her friends, she had to shy away from his existence." TaeMin-ah said, and I just sighed as he leaned his head on my shoulder.

"Jjong has been pretty much a two-faced person. When he's performing, he acts like he's the happiest guy in the world. But when no one can see him, he's a broken man. I feel really bad for him." Onew Sunbae added. I began to turn sad as well. He really must be affected.

"But you know Noona, ever since he met up with you at SME that day, he smiles more truthfully now. I caught him texting you once, and he actually laughed at one message you sent him. He really laughed." TaeMin-ah interjected.

I couldn't help but smile as I listened to TaeMin-ah. He smiles now. He actually smiles now.

Good thing. He wouldn't be anything like Kee-yah.

"So, what were you doing in the rehearsal room very early?" Onew Sunbae suddenly asked me and I just took a breath before replying.

"Well, I had to rehearse 'Goodbye' because I'll be performing that in the SME Christmas party. Then, I studied Ain't No Other Man and When It Was Me before listening to the demo track for the dark Selene debut." I said, which earned me nods from the SHINee members.

"Life as an idol really is a lot of work. I actually wonder myself how I was able to keep up with this lifestyle." Onew Sunbae concluded, and TaeMin-ah agreed through his nods.

"Well, since that's settled, I brought some chips for us while we're on the road. I knew that some way or another we're gonna need to eat something..." TaeMin-ah took two packs of chips from the plastic bag whic was beside his legs. He opened one for me and him and tossed the other one to Onew Sunbae.

"I knew one way or another that you were gonna ask for something Chicken flavored, so I bought that for you, Hyung." He said, which earned him laughs from both Dubu Sunbae and me.

11:33 A.M.

"We're here, Noona..."

A whisper from TaeMin-ah awaked me from my sleep. I lifted my head from TaeMin-ah's shoulder, where he told me I could put my head when I felt sleepy, and sat up straight, fixing my hair.

"Thanks, TaeMin-ah." I thanked him with a smile as I stepped out of the van, getting the clutchbag of make-up from the SHINee member's hands. He held it for me while I was sleeping.

TaeMin-ah followed me out and took a deep breath as they surveyed the scene. A river in a rural area.

I remembered how they discussed the concept of the three videos to me. I play, in the video, a girl from the rural areas who had a guy best friend. When they grew up, they became lovers. But then, the girl had to leave for her parents were transferred into another place to work, Seoul. The guy was left behind, until his dad struck it rich with the lottery, and they moved to Seoul. The guy, now rich, had found another girl to love, and the former best friend-slash-lover of the guy is jealous.

The video for Ain't No Other man entered when the girl got to watch a girl perform in T.V. She was a singer here, a girl from the 60 or 70s. I play the singer in "Ain't No Other Man" in the video as well as the girl watching...which is a hard job. There are so many costume changes.

So, that pretty much sums up the ending of my first debut. The second debut videos would still be explained.

Well, so much for that. I tried to supress my laughs as I saw the two SHINee members chase each other around and play with each other.

Aigoo. Those two. Still like kids. No wonder SHINee had to work hard for a more mature image, Even off cam, they naturally act child-like.

As the sounds of laughs resoubded, I remembered one thing.

It's just like how playful JongHyun Sunbae and I were in the practice room a few days ago after begging him not to die.

Suddenly, a thought sliced through the other things in my mind.

Earlier, when Onew Sunbae mentioned the other SHINee members, he didn't mention JongHyun Sunbae.

So, what about him? Where is he now?

Just then, I felt arms wrap around my waist and the familiar, disinct voice reach my ears.

"Ei, Selene-ah...."

I turned around and immediately collided with the body of a man for the third time ever since the time he told me about the attempt on his former girlfriend's life.

"JongHyun Sunbae..." I whispered as he pulled back and looked at me. He winked once before totally releasing me.

"Why are you here?" I asked him, and he just smiled as HeeSung-ah, my manager arrived on the scene.

"Weren't you listening when we briefed you on the video sequence? He's going to be your guy best friend!" She exclaimed and as I looked back as JongHyun Sunbae, he was smiling at me.

Jus then, everything crashed down on me.

"WHAAAAAAAT?!"
