Oohhhhh-kaaayyy! =] I'm back to update, though I admit that I'm still on hiatus.

I couldn't help but update because I've been really happy seeing you guys patiently waiting for my updates.

I'm pretty inspired right now, since I don't want 2012 to come and I still haven't finished posting this.

Truthfully, I already have ALL chapters of the story done. I'll just be posting them every 2-3 days. =]

Anyway, I have a VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT by the end of this chapter. So please stick to the very end.

Also, I have read your comments and since almost all of them contain the same thing, I'll just answer the queries here.

GENERAL COMMENT REPLY:

1. I shall NOT reveal who the assaulter is for now. It shall be revealed in the following chapters. But I'll be asking you guys to hold on to your suspect. Who knows, maybe you're right. =]

2. I commend shineefan829 and Kallen_Langely for being perceptive with regards to the similarities of poisoning attempts to both ShiRin and DBSK's YunHo even before chapter 47:Analysis was posted. Good job, guys! <3

3. I also commend imkeysyeobo for being perceptive about what JongHyun's reaction would be when ShiRin drank the juice. You shall understand why when you read the next chapters after this one.

SeonJim Hospital - Room 405
5:43 P.M.

"HeeSung-ah..." Came a soft voice from the corner of the hospital room, which made HeeSung-ah snap out of her sleepy state, her head leaning on the side of her 'cousin's' hospital bed.

Her eyes widened as an awake ShiRin called out to her, reaching for her hand. With tears b in her eyes, she grabbed her "cousin's" hand and smiled, to which the weaker girl returned.

"You haven't managed a movement since JongHyun-ah and I brought you here last night. I thought we already lost you..." HeeSung began, sighing as she momentarily stopped talking because she was still shocked from her friend's awakening.

"Well, it's pretty obvious that I'm alive and breathing, right? So, how have you been?" She asked HeeSung, but the latter just spat out a loud "Psh. I should ask YOU that. How are you now?" at her. Selene just smiled.

"I'm pretty fine actually. I still feel a bit of pain, like pins and needles. But I guess that's just an after effect of whatever gave me the burning feeling when I drank the juice..." She said, to which HeeSung nodded at.

"Well, the doctor told me that you had a serious case with the chemical, but thank heavens it had been taken out of your system entirely. So, technically, you'd be back to normal in no time." HeeSung explained to ShiRin, and with a smile, the latter tried to sit up. It was a bit hard on the early part, but she got herself into a sitting position eventually.

"But, I'm afraid something regarding SME and SE is not---" HeeSung began to say, but was cut off by a few knocks on the door. HeeSung made her way to open it, and doing so revealed five handsome and young faces. One was holding a basket of fruits, another a set of magazines, bottles of iced tea were in the hands of another, while the fourth one was carrying flowers. The fifth one wasn't carrying anything, yet he had the biggest smile on his face upon seeing the now awake singer.

ShiRin, despite her still weak state, can't help but smile.

"SHINee..."

"And you're finally awake after about 19 hours, Dongsaeng-ah!" Onew exclaimed as he placed the flowers he brought on the table beside ShiRin's hospital bed.

"It took you long enough, though, you know..." MinHo mumbled a little too loudly, closing the door of the room fridge where he put the bottles of iced tea he held earlier. Everyone chuckled, hearing the words that he was almost sure he mumbled.

"But he's right, though. Here, have some apple slices. You need to eat something." Key said, just finished cutting the apple he washed from the basket he brought, in which he picked the fruits himself. ShiRin took a bite of the peeled apple and smiled as she tasted how nice it was.

Thankfully, the juice incident didn't impair her sense of taste.

Flipping through the magazines that TaeMin brought for her, she laughed when she saw that a whole page was full of SHINee facts, and that these were the answers they gave out to a recent interview. They told her all about it, and she took the information in.

"You sure know how to remind me that I can see SHINee practically everywhere, TaeMin-ah..." ShiRin said, before showing the page to the whole group. Loud 'whoa's and 'no way's echoed inside the room as all of the members rushed to look at the page.

JongHyun need not rush to ShiRin's side though, for he was already sitting beside her, her right hand in both of his and placed on his lap.

"I seriously wonder why the media people keep on editing some of our answers..." TaeMin murmured as he pointed to an answer of his in the interview, which was slightly edited.

"It's pretty much expected, Taem-ah. If they want the magazine to sell well, then they'd of course edit some answers, but thankfully not to the point of telling the readers an entirely different thing from what you answered." JongHyun said, before looking at ShiRin with a warm gaze. She just leaned her head on his arm.

"You know guys... I have a bad feeling about the whole situation right now."

All heads whipped to Key who just said the statement, and their gazes were of confusion. The SHINee member just breathed deeply before shrugging his shoulders.

"Well, it's just that I feel that this happy thing wouldn't last too long. Especially after ShiRin-ah goes out of the hospital and back on stage, there will be even more issues regarding all of us as a whole. I don't know. But... I just feel that." Key continued, and not long after, another statement was heard.

"Call me names and stuff, but I agree with Key-ah. This would surely stir up more controversies not just for ShiRin-ah, but for us, SHINee. I really don't know, but I feel that way too." MinHo said, and all the SHINee members' heads nod.

"For now, what matters to me is that ShiRin-ah's safe. The rest, we SHINee members can deal with. First thing we could do is to solve all of these puzzles handed to us. But then again, we have to know who jumbled all the pieces up." Onew added, and TaeMin nodded as agreement.

"That I know we can get to. But for now..." JongHyun began before softly gazing at ShiRin who was now asleep in his arms.

"...I guess we could discuss the issue in softer tones. Let's give our poor princess a break. She had faced a lot." He continued, kissing ShiRin's head afterwards.

The rest of SHINee stared at JongHyun in amazement, admiring how he could act so maturely now, different from the JongHyun that they used to know. He always had a look in his eyes that reminds everyone that to him, ShiRin is no ordinary girl in the industry.

She's his love.

"Noona looks pretty when she's asleep, neh?" TaeMin remarked as he moved closer to JongHyun sitting figure and ShiRin's sleeping figure. The older male smiled as his dongsaeng continued to stare at his sleeping angel.

"I agree. She looks so peaceful when she closes her eyes. It's like there's nothing bothering her." Onew said, and the others silently agreed.

"We all should exert an effort to keep this peaceful face as peaceful as it is now. It will be our greatest proof that we did our jobs as sunbaes well. She MUST be protected by us from harsher realities in this industry." JongHyun said as he continued to look at ShiRin's sleeping figure, and Onew stood up beside him from sitting on a chair on the opposite side of ShiRin's bed.

"You know, JongHyun-ah, whatever concerns you, concerns us as well. A JongHyun scandal wouldn't be JUST a JongHyun Scandal. It will automatically be a SHINee scandal, for you cannot escape and run away from family. In this harsh world of entertainment, we're family. Whatever involves you, like this love for ShiRin-ah, involves us as well. It would be either all of us, or none of us involved." Onew said, running his hand along the younger man's right shoulder.

With the sweet and amazing scene before her, HeeSung couldn't have the strength to speak up. SHINee treasures ShiRin that much, to the point that they would be willing to set their other responsibilities aside just to put her first. She tried to calm her heart which was beating quicker than normal.

She just couldn't say what she needs to say. She just couldn't have it in herself to confirm the thoughts of both Key and MinHo.

Those two were right. Everything really WAS set to go downhill.

Earlier that morning, executives of Sonic Entertainment called her, saying that due to the occurence of this horrible situation, SE decided to step in despite the 5-scandal rule the two companies agreed on.

At first, SME was pretty pissed off at the sudden entrance of Sonic Entertainment. But after the incident that happened to ShiRin, SME couldn't help but feel responsible for the horrendous attempt of murder. They decided to agree with whatever SE wants.

Firstly, ShiRin, upon recovery, will be taken back to SE's main building in Tokyo, Japan along with Park LeeMyeong, Park HeeSung and Moon JaeLi who is ShiRin's trainer. In this period of stay in Japan, ShiRin will not be allowed to meet up with any SME artist.

Until the person who did this hideous try at murder comes out in the open, and the case is resolved, only then would ShiRin be able to see any SME artist, and SHINee. Only then would the two artists see each other again.

With this scene that she looks at with both her eyes, she knows that SHINee would never give up, at least not so easily. She couldn't discourage them, and she really just couldn't find the strength in herself to tell these five men about what the executives had told her. She clenched her fist, holding on to the remnants of her control. She could no longer hide her disapointment regarding the situation that was presented earlier that morning.

ShiRin already loved SHINee too much, and now, SHINee loves her back too much as well.

She needed time to think about it, but she couldn't hide the truth from those who have a right to know, after all. So, with a deep breath, she called the attention of all SHINee members in a low, yet powerful voice.

"SHINee, I need to talk to all of you guys outside the room."
