This will be my update for my wonderful subscribers and commentors. =]

I'll be using three songs for today's update, since this chapter would pretty much cover the performance donce by ShiRin-ah and her co-alumnae and co-alumni. I haven't done proofreading for this chapter, so please excuse my spelling and grammar. x] <3

"And now, we welcome the selected Tokyo Cultural University's Dance and Theatre Department Alumnae and Alumni for their very special homecoming performance!"

I heard the voice of the MC introduce our 22 member-alumni crew. Well actually, there are about 8 pure dancers and 7 actors in this. The 7 left, which included me, Miaka-chan, Alberto, YeongJi-yah, Arianna-chan, Tomomasa-kun, and HaeYoung Oppa, were those in both departments.

The stage started with a cool mix of acting and dancing. We all were originally posed in a huge human diorama of one obvious topic: Alumni Homecoming. The actors were dispersed in a deviation of scenes, from successful businessmen and women of status to the girls who looked like they became s in a whorehouse. The guys were in the same boat too. Some looked like high-class athletes. Others looked like bad boys. Even the dancers had their own part to play.

But I guess the center of attention and attraction would be me and HaeYoung Oppa looking at each other, with his arm around my waist, and the other people like Miaka-chan and Alberto looking like gossip mongers snooping around our business. We were frozen in that position for about a few moments until our cue in the music began.

And the stage exploded in lights as we all danced to a simple set of choreography.

After dancing, the flashbacks began. A voice over presided the shift of time.

"Six high school friends meet up again after 5 years of separation. Many things have changed, and these now different identities shall converge in an opportunity of time-travel and reminiscing. But, who were these people before their present lives, 5 years after their graduation?"

Then, the lights began shining at a clasroom scenario, with the voice over still presiding over everything.

The clasroom was shown with a normal classroom scenario. There are guys playing around, and there are also girls fixing their looks. But the ones that would probably catch the attention of the audience were the three girls seated in front, with 3 empty seats beside each girl. Well, actually, the girls are Miaka-chan, YeongJi-yah, and myself with the characters Yui, MiRae, and YuRa, respectively.

Yui was flirting with a guy on stage left, another actor, and MiRae was rehearsing her cheerdance routine. Guys were also looking at her practice, perhaps thinking something erted. In the middle of the scene was YuRa, listening with her headphones and writing down notes. She's staring blankly into space while scribbling notes, oblivious to what is going on around her.

"Yui was the typical bad girl. Flirting with guys, involving herself in scandals, being notorious around campus, this was her life. You'd never expect her to be one of the most successful businesswomen after five years. I mean, look at her! She's more interested in sensuality rather than education!" The voice over began to say as the spotlight was directed to where Miaka-chan was, technically "making out" with a guy she was just "flirting with" 10 seconds ago.

Personally, I am dumbfounded at how well Miaka-chan acts with whatever role she's given. I wish I could really be like her in terms of acting.

"MiRae is the head cheerleader of the school. Someone you wouldn't see studying law books at home. But yes, this cheerleader has a secret dream of finishing law school in the future. And well, she'll be achieving her dream five years from now." The voice over said as the light was now shifted to YeongJi-yah, acting like she's cheering for a footbal team of something. The guys have been "sneaking a peek" at her which included Alberto, and she just "glares" at them.

Just then, Tomomasa-kun, with the role of Yuichiro enters the scene. He has a sandwich in his hand, which he gave to me while sitting beside me. I took off my headphones when he started speaking.

"YuRa, you've been doing that paragraph in English since first period! How about resting and eating for a while..." He began to deliver his line, just like we rehearsed.

"I'm sorry, Yuichiro. But I'm still not done. You know me, I've been having a low grade in English ever since the beginning of the school year..." I delivered my line to a concerned-acting Tomomasa-kun.

"Well, I'll just help you with that. I'll proofread the parts you already did, while you eat and think of the next lines that you're going to wriite. Okay?" He said his line, and as rehearse, I nodded.

"That girl you see right there is the quiet, average girl, YuRa. She's just like any student out there. Good in some subjects, bad in others. She's not that popular but she is known for being a lady of few words. Who would know that one day, this student would have the confidence to walk down the runway as a fashion model?" The voice over said, introducing my character, immediately being followed by the lines introducing Tomomasa-kun's character.

"The guy who's proofreading YuRa's English pargraph is none other than the top honor of the class, Yuichiro. He's the best student in their batch, but he's not the antisocial kind of geek. He's very famous in the school for being a friendly chap. He actually harbors romantic feelings for YuRa, but he's always surpassed by one guy." The voice over said, followed by the screams of all the ladies because one character walked in.

Hero, portrayed by HaeYoung Oppa.

He strode down the stage like he's the model for a fashion show, sitting down in another chair beside me. He got a rose from the bag he slung around his shoulder and gave it to me, just like what we rehearsed.

"Hey, YuRa. I promised you I'll give you a flower for every single day that you're in my thoughts, right? Here." He told me, and with a smile, I took the flower. He kissed me on the cheek suddenly, which sent everyone, even the audience, cheering for him.

"That, my friends, is Hero. He's the richest and most famous guy in school. He's the MVP in basketball, and his grades aren't that bad too. He's what you can call a kingka, but too friendly to be a classical one. He's known to be a former playboy. But ever since he had a close encounter with YuRa as she read a book in the library once, it was enough for him to give his heart to her." The voice over said, indicating the entrance of Arianna-chan in the form of the character Erin.

"This lady is the sister of Hero, named Erin. She's a queenka at school, and she excels in sports too, pretty much like her brother. She harbors special feelings for Yuichiro, and it hurts her when she sees him always sticking to YuRa. She can never hate YuRa though, because of how kind-hearted she is, and how much her brother loves the girl." The voice over stated as Arianna-chan took a seat beside HaeYoung Oppa.

The voice over then began its final line for the scene, leading to our dance number, indicating that time passed.

"Who would know that these people would meet again after 5 years of separation? And who would know how much these people had changed...or stayed the same?"

15 dancers, with Miaka-chan, HaeYoung Oppa, YeongJi-yah, Tomomasa-kun, Arianna-chan, Alberto, and myself included in the count, went to the middle of the floor to begin our 50 second dance routine as a transition for the last scene, which was a club. After that, us 7 dispersed and left the other actors to play their roles as former classmates finally having a good look at each other after 5 years. After a few lines, we all had changed clothes, and we finally went to our entrance points.

Miaka-chan now entered the scene like a normal club-goer, except that she's wearing a business suit. Miaka-chan entered in a club-worthy outfit, having Alberto's arm linked around her. I was already inside the "club", having fun with my co-models which were actually some of the actors earlier. Tomomasa-kun entered the scene not long after, noticing how I was different than before.

"Oh my, YuRa! Is that you?!" He exclaimed as he saw the party dress that I was wearing. I just looked at him, trying to remember who he is, until I acted like I finally knew who he was.

"Oh my, Yuichiro!" I exclaimed, before proceeding to hugging him tightly, to which the audience cheered to. When I pulled back, I kissed him on the cheek and continued blabbering...just like what we had rehearsed.

The audience, which is composed of current students of the institution, the teachers, and guests which included SHINee, though no one was able to recognize who they are.

As far as I know, more than half of the student population in the theater and dance department absolutely LOVE the band.

The teachers kept clapping at us during the romantic scenes. Well, of course we nailed it. We proved to our teachers that we can do even the awkward romantic scenes, which were actually our weak points in the theater department during our study in Tokyo Cultural High.

Not long after, the entities began merging to the middle as the "friends" began to recognize each other.

"Oh my gosh, Yui! Is that you?! You are so different!" We exclaimed as the friends finally realized how much Yui has changed.

"Well, oh my gosh yourselves! I never knew you liked the guy who usually takes a peek under your skirts back in high school!" Miaka-chan quoted YeongJi-yah just as what our scripts indicated, and with a smile, YeongJi-yah clung to Alberto.

"We have to commend YuRa though..." Alberto began, before motioning to me, and I just twirled around, flaunting the dress I wore.

"Well thank you." I said, and at that moment, Arianna-chan entered the scene. We "friends" just acted along as Arianna rushed into Tomomasa-kun's arms. We all cheered at this, and we asked them afterwards.

"So, Yuichiro, you're going out with Erin, I see..." I began, and the others just did a soft "Eeeeee!" after my statement. He just smirked before kissing Arianna-chan's forehead.

"Well, what can I say? I got over YuRa after high school. Erin and I met again after studying Business Management in college..." He said, and with that, the 5 others just turned to me.

"Wait, how has your life been with Hero?" They asked me,  and I was about to reply when suddenly, someone wrapped his arms around me and kissed me on the cheek.

Well, knowing what happens in the presentation since we rehearsed this, I already know that this would be HaeYoung Oppa. But of course, I had to act like I'm surprised.

The cheering started again as I acted all lovey-dovey with HeeSung-ah's older brother.

"We're gonna get married next year. I asked my management if they'll let me off the hook by February, and I'll be officially Hero's wifey..." I began, and HaeYoung Oppa delivered his line afterwards.

"I'm planning to distribute the invitations tonight, since it's our Alumni Homecoming Party, so you'll have to tell us soon if you're gonna come. We have to get the guest list ready, you know!" He said, and we pressed our foreheads together. The audience erupted into cheers, and I spied a look at SHINee who sat in the front row.

Onew Sunbae had his jaws dropped. TaeMin-ah was shocked.

MinHo Sunbae's eyes were wide with surprise, while Key Sunbae was biting his lip to stop himself from laughing.

Why?

It's because JongHyun Sunbae was glaring at HaeYoung Oppa like he's gonna kill the poor guy.

I tried to stop myself from laughing too, and I succeeded as the music for the final dance number echoed inside the whole theater.

It's been a good run, and I huffed a sigh as we did our curtain call after our finale.

It just felt like my graduation recital all over again.

I sang along to Wheesung Sunbae's "Girls" as I looked at the night sky through the window of the plane. Ever since I heard JongHyun Sunbae sing it during the concert, I couldn't help but listen to it.

I don't know. I really fell in love with the song.

It's because of JongHyun Sunbae.

"Whoah, is that 'Girls' that you're singing?" I heard a familiar voice suddenly ask, and I looked to my left, seeing the owner of the voice.

"Yep. Why, JongHyun Sunbae?" I asked him, and he just shook his head with a smirk before leaning back once again.

"Wae-yo? You wanna listen? I set it on repeat anyways..." I said, giving one of my earphone buds to him, and he took it with a smile.

As he took the earphone bud from me, our hands touched. But I didn't expect what he did next.

He held my hand in his and placed it on his cheek, closing his eyes momentarily. When he opened it again, he removed the armrest between our seats.

He wrapped an arm around my shoulder and made me lean my head on his shoulder.

"Is it okay with you if we stay like this?" He asked me, and seeing nothing wrong with it, I just nodded on his shoulder. I lifted my head after a few moments.

I looked once again at the evening sky and sighed softly as I heard him whisper to my free ear.

"Girls. It frustrates me when they don't believe me. I always have to prove myself to her. But I can't help but protect her." He began, and I tried to hold my laughs in.

But suddenly, my thoughts were cut when he whispered again.

"I can't help but protect you."
