Kyungsoo and Kai were sleeping peacefully under the covers during the cold night. After Kyungsoo had hounded Kai all night about what he was planning, Kai shut him up by taking him into his bed and laying beside him to sleep.   In the midst of his sleep, Kyungsoo muttered a quiet "Mom."   Kai opened his eyes and looked at him, worried that something had happened.    "Rin..." Kyungsoo gripped Kai's shirt and scooted closer to him.   Kai heaved a long sigh and started Kyungsoo's hair in comfort. "Kyungsoo." he said lightly.   Kyungsoo started to shiver in his sleep while mumbling something about his mother.   Kai didn't want Kyungsoo to suffer any longer and shook him awake.   Kyungsoo sprung up and started searching around frantically for something.   Kai got up and gripped him in a tight hug. "Kyungsoo, you are fine. Your mother is fine." Kai said and Kyungso started shaking in his arms. Kai has dealt with this too many times to not know what to do. "You want to go see them?" Kai asked.   After Kyungsoo had calmed down in Kai's arms, he nodded.   "Okay, but for now we have to sleep." Kai took Kyungsoo by the hand and leaned back onto the bed.   Kai opened his arms and scooped up Kyungsoo into his embrace.   Kyungsoo nuzzled his face into Kai's chest and breathed him in "Goodnight, Jongin."    "Goodnight, Kyungsoo." Kai replied while hugging Kyungsoo tighter.   ~~~ At 5 o'clock the next morning, Kai had gone to Suho to inform him of the trip Kyungsoo and him were to be making that day.    Suho told him it was alright to leave since they were just going to be running tests and training today.   Kai had then gone to Kyungsoo and they got ready to leave.   "Are you nervous about seeing them again?" Kai asked.   "I just need to see that they are okay.  They don't even have to know I'm there so no reason to be nervous." Kyungsoo replied while fidgeting with his fingers.   "Do me a favor and talk to Rin this time. Even if she is sleeping, I'm sure she misses you." Kai said as he put on his motorcycle helmet.   "I'll try." Kyungsoo put on his helmet and soon they were on their way to Kyungsoo's house.   An hour later they arrived at the house. Kyungsoo got off the motorcycle and stood frozen in front of the house.    "You going in or what?" Kai asked with a small chuckle.   "Yeah, I'm going." Kyungsoo said. Contrary to what he had said, he stayed in his spot.   "Kyung, go in already. Don't be afraid." Kai gave Kyungsoo a small push in the direction of the house.   Kyungsoo finally built up the courage and started to walk forward towards the door.    When he finally reached it, he knocked on the door and waited patiently.    When no one answered the door after a couple minutes, Kyungsoo turned around to leave.   "Kyungsoo?" a small frail voice spoke from behind him.   Kyungsoo turned around and saw his mother hiding behind the door. She looked at Kyungsoo with a scared expression, as if Kyungsoo was not real and she had gone delusional once again.   "Mom." Kyungsoo waited for her to open the door until he could envelope her into a hug. "I've missed you so much." he said as he held her tightly.   His mother started to cry onto him kept saying "My baby Kyungsoo is finally home." she pulled back and patted his arms, making sure he was real.   "Can we go inside?" Kyungsoo asked.   "Yes, but we have to be quiet, Rin is still asleep." his mother dragged him by the arm inside and sat him down on the sofa.   Kyunsoo looked around, not much has changed since he left 8 years ago.
