“Hyerin, I don’t really love you, I just got confused of you being Leeteuk’s hyung sister. I’m so sorry.” Donghae turn his back on Hyerin

                “Aniyo” she hugs by his waist “Oppa… please.. stay with me… you said you love me… please don’t leave me” Hyerin starts to cry

                “Aniyo, I didn’t love you at all, let me go now because my girl is waiting for me” Donghae look at straight from a far.

                Hyerin follow his gaze and sees s woman silhouette of a woman from the distant.

                “She’s the one for me not you” Donghae’s cold words to her while removing her hands from him

                “No…” Hyerin fell on the ground and held her chest, she can feel her heart breaking apart. “Please… don’t say that… oppa.. please.. don’t leave me… OPPA”

                “OPPA!!!!!” Hyerin wakes up from her bad dreams; she’s breathing hardly and sweating a lot.

                “Baby, are you okay?” Donghae sit ups and brushes off her hair “Baby?”

                “Aniyo” she shakes her head

                “Bad dream?”

                Hyerin just shake her head again and gets off the bed.

                “Where are you going? I’m coming with you” Donghae ask

                “No, just go back to sleep” Hyerin leaves the room

                Hyerin go to the kitchen and drink some water, she lean on at the kitchen counter to think about her dream.

                “Why that dream again?” she ask herself “Why it feels like it wasn’t just a dream? It seems true”

                “Hyerin” Donghae shows in the kitchen “Are you alright?” he capped her face

                “I don’t know” she removes his hand off her “I’m going to sleep with Jungsu oppa” she said and walk out of the kitchen as Donghae follow her.

                Hyerin go straight at Leeteuk’s room, still Donghae following his wife. Leeteuk is startled when Hyerin goes under the blanket.

                “What is it?” He ask to his sister who’s already in bed, tightly holding his shirt like a kid

                “I just want to sleep here, is that okay?”

                Leeteuk look at Donghae but he just shrugs his shoulder               

                He fix the blanket to his sister “Yeh, it’s alright”

                Donghae sit beside the bed and rest his back on the bedside table.

                “Did you have bad dreams again?” Leeteuk ask again

                “I don’t know”

                “Do you want to talk about it?”               

                “Let’s just sleep” she said

                “Ok, good night princess” he kiss her forehead

                The next morning, Hyerin wakes up early, she didn’t cook any breakfast or anything, she just sit on the dining table and eat some cereals.

                “Good morning” Ryewook greets as he walks in the kitchen but Hyerin didn’t answer back

                “Princess” Leeteuk kiss her head “Are you just going to eat that?” he ask but he never receive answer from her.

                “Are you feeling okay?” he ask again

                “Oppa, I’m not in the mood today so stop asking me” she stands up and leaves the dorm immediately

                “Hyung, is she alright?” Ryewook ask

                “You know my sister when it’s time of the month” he said               

                “Hmm…. it’s really hard to understand woman” he shakes his head

                Back at the apartment, Hyerin is busy vacuuming the living room with a earphone in her ear playing loud music.

                “Dongsaeng-ah, here’s your bowl” Kyuhyun handling the bowl but Hyerin didn’t hear him

                “DONGSAENG-AH” he shouted and removes her earphone               

                “WHAT!!!!” she really sulky

                “Why are you mad at me? I’m just getting your bowl back”

                “You can just put it on the dining table” she said irritated

                “What’s your problem? Do you want some drinks?” he put his arms around her shoulder

                “Hyunnie, stop playing around I’m not in the mood” she removes his hand off her

                “Wae? What’s wrong? Did you and hyung fight again? Or hyung didn’t do well last night”

                “Shut up” Hyerin punch Kyuhyun stomach

                “Aww…” he’s jumping around “Yah, is that necessary?”

                “Stop getting into my nerves”

                “But seriously” he straighten up himself “What’s bothering you? You’ve been like this for few days now”

                Hyerin sit on the couch “I really don’t know why I’m being like this either?”

                Kyuhyun sit beside her and put her hea on his shoulder “Maybe you just need some fresh air, you’ve been stuck up here like forever.”

                “You said it right” Hyerin pouted

                “Then let’s play outside” Kyuhyun said that surprise Hyerin

                Hyerin eyeing him “You’re joking me, you have rehearsal”

                “Duh, our rehearsal starts at 9 in the evening, I still have spare time”

                Hyerin little bit suspicious

                “What? Do you want it or I’ll just play my games” Kyuhyun stands up

                “Wait” Hyerin grab his hand “Why you’re so hot headed, I’ll just go dress up”

                “Fine, I’ll just wait here” Kyuhyun sit back on the couch

                “Where are we going anyway?” Hyerin ask while putting her sit belt

                “Where do you want to go anyways?” Kyuhyun ask back

                “Let’s eat in different places, how’s that?”

                “You’re on diet right?”

                “I’m willing to forget my diet just to cheer up my dongsaeng” he wiggles his eye brow

                “Yeh right, you just want to eat and you’re just looking for a reason to give to your trainer”

                Kyuhyun just grin at her cutely “hehehe… you never fail to read my mind”

                “It’s not reading your mind; it’s your love for food”

                “Anyway… Kyu-Rin food adventure, let’s go” Kyuhyun happily announce

Kyuhyun brings Hyerin to an old noodle restaurant outside Seoul, then dumpling house, and then they eat some street foods. After that Kyuhyun brought her to a beach side, they are sitting on the sand watching the sea water.

                “Did you enjoy our adventure?” he ask her

                “Neh, komowo” she lean her head on his shoulder

                “Can you tell me now, what’s bothering you lately?” he ask

                “My dreams”

                “What about it?”

                “It’s just a dream but I do I feel like it’s something happen before”

                “I really don’t understand you, can you please elaborate what are you trying to say?”

                “I’m always dreaming that Donghae leaving me tells me that he didn’t love me at all and he’s going with other woman. Everytime I dream of that, my heart feels like breaking apart like I felt it before.”

                “Dongsaeng-ah, dream is the opposite of everything”

                “But sometimes it’s the reflection of my awaken life.”

                “You know what is your problem”

                “What?”

                “Since the day you wake up, you’ve change a lot, you become lonelier and worrying too much. Why don’t you just let lose and just enjoy your life with hyung? Donghae hyung really loves you, eventhough sometimes he doesn’t have time on you but I know deep in him, he’s dying to be with you at all time.”

                “Did I really change a lot?” Hyerin looks at him

                Kyuhyun nods “Yeh, I miss my dongsaeng, who is full of life and always happy.”

                “Mianhe..” Hyerin said

                “See, that’s what I’m talking about, instead of saying sorry why you don’t say “Hyunnie, I’ll try my best””

                “Araso, araso” Hyerin stands up “Hyunnie” she shouted to the sea “I’ll try my best to return to my oldself… just wait and see.. you bastard..”

                “Yah, it that even necessary, I’m still older than you”

                “yeh, right…” she stick her tongue out

                “Yah, Park Hyerin, come here”

                “Aniyo” Hyerin starts to run

                “Come back here!!!”

                Kyuhyun brought back Hyerin to her apartment and go straight to their rehearsals, as soon as she arrives at her apartment; she takes quick shower then goes to the bed to rest. She hugs the pillow and smells the scent of Donghae lingering there.

                “Is not that I’m worrying too much, is just I feel like there’s something going on here that I don’t know” she sigh “But why Jungsu oppa and Donghae will lie to me?” she keeps on thinking things until she fell asleep.

                The next morning Hyerin visit the hospital for her monthly check up.

                “Well, I think you having a good progress” Dr. Hyun said while looking at Hyerin’s test result

                “Really? so does it mean I can go back to work now?”

                “Probably… but I still not recommend it..”

                “But you said..”

                “yes, but I still need to make sure that your body is fully recovered, araso?”

                “Araso” she plays with her fingers

                “So, how’s your hand?” Dr. Hyun ask

                “Still not back to its normal condition” Hyerin sounds sad about it

                “Are you attending your therapy?”

                “Neh, I didn’t miss even a single day, and I also do some additional workout at home.” Hyerin sigh “Uncle, do you think I can still manage to get back on my track?”

                Dr. Hyun look at his niece, he stand up and go to her “Off course my dear” he tap her shoulder “You’ve been sleeping for almost a year and your body had been in bad condition, it’s just natural that your body is having a hard time to get back as it was before.”

                “But how long does it takes? I’ve been under therapy for few months now but I can’t feel any progress, I can’t even regain my memory.”

                “Dr. Hyun” A nurse suddenly enters the room

                “Yes, what is it?”

                “You need at the emergency room right now”

                “Okay, I’m coming”

                The nurse close the door

                “Let’s talk about this later, is that okay?”

                Hyerin stands up “Just forget about it”

                “Hyerin please don’t get mad.”

                “I’m not” she walks out at the office

                “I know it’s hard for you right now, that is why I’m worried about you when the worse comes to you. You have to be strong my dear niece, because there still a rocky road in front of you.”

                Hyerin is just walking along the street; she’s been down for days and no one she can talk too, to ease her troubles she feels inside. She feels blinded by a thick dark clouds that she can’t see where is going. She does feel strange on herself since she wakes up, she tries to ask her brother but all she can get is nothing, and her troubles starts to build up more into her. She gets her phone from the bag and dial a number.

                “Dr. Han, it’s me Park Hyerin, can we meet somewhere? Not in the hospital”

                “Okay, then I’ll be there.”

                Hyerin went to a coffee shop to wait for Dr. Han. While waiting for Dr. Han a strange man sit in the empty chair in front of her.

                “Hyerinssii…” it was the same man who chases her “It’s me Hyunsoo, don’t you remember me”

                Hyerin keeps her distance “I don’t know you, so can you please leave me?”

                “Hyerin..please… have you forgetten me, what about Gu Donghae.

                “Gu Donghae?” Hyerin dumbfounded

                “Hyerin… did you….” Hyunsoo pulls out something in his pocket “Here’s we’re friends in college” he shows her a picture of Hyerin, him and Gu Donghae.

                Hyerin still lost what he is trying to say to her.

                “Maybe you don’t remember it but we’re friends, and this is Gu Donghae, don’t you remember him.”

                Hyerin is getting overwhelmed by this, her head starting to ache.

                “stop…please stop..” she held her head

                “Hyerinssi” Dr. Han arrive and run towards her

                “Ahh…. My head….” she screams in pain, making a chaos in the store. Her head is spinning around as images keeps flashing inside her head.

                Dr. Han carry her and rush her to the hospital”

                Hyerin open her eyes, found herself lying on the bed with IV on her right hand. She turns to her side and sees Dr. Hyun looking at his phone.

                “Uncle” she called out

                “Finally you’re awake, I already called your oppa, he will be here for few minutes.”

                “Uncle, can I talk to Dr. Han?”

                “Sure, I’ll call him” he touch her forehead “Are you alright?”

                “Neh, I’m okay, can you please call him now?”

                After few minutes, Dr. Hyung is back together with Dr. Han

                “How are you? Your uncle told me that you want to talk to me, what is it?”

                Hyerin looks at Dr. Hyun “Uncle, can you please leave us for awhile?”

                The two doctors look at each other, Dr. Han gives a signal to Dr. Hyun

                “Okay, I’ll just wait for Jungsu outside” Dr. Hyun leaves the room

                “So what are you going to talk about with me?” he pulls the chair and sits

                “Dr. Han, is it possible that my dreams are connected to my forgotten memories?”

                “Why do you ask that?”

                “Well, you see… I keep dreaming things and everytime I wakes up the feeling on that dreams still lingering in me. And it seems like it happen before.” She just looking at the ceiling but Dr. Han can feel her fear and worries in her voice.

                “Is there something happening to you that you don’t tell to anyone?” Dr. Han ask

                “Can you please answer my question first?”

                “I’m sorry, base on my experience with my patient having amnesia. A person who has amnesia sometimes their dreams are the reflection of their past, especially those painful ones.”

                “Is that so?”

                “But I’m not concluding anything here, I’m not telling you that your dreams are things that happen in your past, sometimes its just the representation of our fear in our awaken life.”

                “Hmmm…. okay…”

                “Is there something bothering you? You can talk about it with me, if you want too”

                “Is there anyway I can regain my memory faster?”

                “No… there isn’t… regaining your forgotten memory isn’t easy as you order a cup of coffee, it takes time and support from the people around you, my dear.”

                “But how can I regain my memory if the people around me doesn’t seem want my memory back.”

                “That isn’t true, Hyerin… everyone wants you to remember.”

                “yeh, you can say that” she sigh “But I research something about the shock treatment, I think that will work”

                “No, it will not be good on you.”

                “Why not?”

                “Why are you in hurry to remember? Huh?”               

                “Nothing” she close her eyes lazily “I just want to be back on how am I before”               

                “Hyerin” he hold her hand “I know its hard but we have to take it slowly, you’re doing great right now, don’t rush it, do you understand?”

                Hyerin keeps her silent

                As Dr. Han keeps on talking to Hyerin, little they didn’t know Dr. Hyun together with Leeteuk and Donghae are listening through Dr. Hyun’s phone. Dr. Han secretly dialed Dr. Hyun number so he can hear their conversation.

                Dr. Hyun gives Hyerin a medicine to make her rest.

                “What happen?” Leeteuk ask

                “She ask me to see her at a coffee shop to talk about something”

                “What is it?” Donghae ask

                “I don’t know because when I got there a guy seems like disturbing her and then her head starts aching.”

                “Who is that?”

                “I don’t know but I got this in Hyerin’s hand” he shows the picture to them “Do you know who’s with her at the picture?”

                “It’s her ex boyfriend” Dr. Hyun answer              

                “What does he wants from her again?” Leeteuk

                “Don’t worry, I’ll handle this one” Dr. Hyun said

                “I want to talk to him personally” Donghae said

                “But Donghae” Leeteuk

                “Hyung, let me do this… I don’t want her to suffer anymore” he said looking at his wife

                “What are we going to do now with my sister?”

                “As I talk to her I think you’ve been locking her up”

“Because it’s not safe for her” Leeteuk

“No… this is the time she needs to be free, let her be, don’t cage here in the apartment, if you restrain her, she might end up rebelling or she might not trust you anymore. Don’t make her suspect you that you hiding something from her, that makes her lost her trust in you”

“Yes, we understand” they both answer

Next morning, Dr. Hyun and Donghae go to the prison to talk to Gu Donghae. Dr. Hyun requests a private room for them. When they arrive at the room Gu Donghae is already sitting at the chair.

“How are you here?” Dr. Hyun greets as they sit across to him

“How’s Hyerin?” Gu Donghae ask

“She’s in the hospital” Donghae arrogantly answer

“Liar, she’s not in the hospital, she’s already out of the hospital”

Donghae stands up and bang the table with his hands “She’s in the hospital… we rush her to the hospital yesterday.”

“It’s true” Dr. Hyun in “She had a breakdown when your friend seems like bothering her”

“What do you mean?” Gu Donghae

“Hyerin lost her memory, the only thing she remembers are things that happen when she’s 16. And it’s been difficult for her since she wakes up, added to her burden she can’t move her right hand anymore, she stop doing paintings now.”

“WHAT!!!” Gu Donghae is horrified by what he heard

“She body was shattered when the accident happen, and it damage her right hand”               

“No, it can’t be….” He can’t believe on what he heard “Painting is her life, how can that be… why anyone would takes it away from her.”

  “That’s why I’m here” Donghae answer, he goes to Gu Donghae side and drop his knee in front of him, swallowing his pride for his love. “Hyerin had enough since the accident takes her hand away, can we just let her live in peace? I’m begging you… please don’t interrupt her anymore. Just please if you really do love her, give her peace of mind. She’s having a hard time and it killing me seeing her like that.” Donghae show his tears to him, he’s been hurting for his wife since the accident and he can’t still forgive himself for that.

                “Why would you think I will listen to you?” Gu Donghae keeps his pride

                He looks at him straight to his eyes “Because I know, if you were in my position you will do the same.”
