Amber train of thought been cut off by Sunny’s loud voice. Beside her, proudly walking Victoria. Victoria went directly to Krystal, explaining what she wanted for her magazine cover. While Sunny make a double check just to make sure everything were ready.

“Everything ready?” Sunny asked and when no one saying anything, she turned to Amber.

“Amber-shi?” Sunny asked him.

“Ye..yeah. We can start now,” Amber answered her, a little bit stuttered. Victoria went to stands beside him and sometimes told him what she wanted for the pictures. None of them were spoken either Krystal or Amber, only Victoria’s voice can be heard. Victoria told them what she wanted and both of them doing their job professionally. But no one know what’s happening deep down inside of them, their feeling, emotion were well been kept. Only a few of them knew how awkward the situation is though no one said anything and that’s Tiffany, Kangin and Taeng. They just stood at there and watched the photo shoot while hoping nothing bad going to happened.

Taeng knew how uncomfortable the state is right now since Amber was only keep his mouth shut. He knew how Amber doing his job and usually when the picture was beautifully captured, his smile will be plastered on his face but today, it’s completely nothing, expressionless. It just like he only focusing taking the pictures while trying distracted himself from the model. Though Taeng can offered to take the pictures but Amber’s skill is much better than him in taking the model’s picture. He’s much more prefer scenery or landscape.

While Tiffany and Kangin only standing at there, watching Krystal make varies poses. They don’t know how’s Krystal feeling right now but at least at this moment, she just doing her job. If only Tiffany can stopped her from taking those pictures but she knew Krystal will against it. Krystal is a professional. She can be strong but till when? That’s what Tiffany afraid of, she scared if Krystal might broken again.

A loud applause can be heard from everywhere when the photo shoot was done. But most importantly, Victoria looks satisfied so everyone can heave a sigh of relief because if not, they might keep working for hours till Victoria get what she wanted.

“Ok, everyone can take a break. Well done, guys!” Sunny said it loudly. All of the staff cheered up, started to packed up and went for a break.

“Why not if all of us take a break together with Krystal too. My treat, since I’m very satisfied with your work today. Looks like Jean Sung-shi didn’t lie to me when he said that you’re good,” Victoria complimented Amber. Amber smiled at her.

“Thanks, it just…..” Amber thanked her but before he could finish his words, his eyes caught a familiar figure that walked pass by behind Victoria. She noticed it and followed his gaze. Taeng also noticed it so he quickly grab Amber shoulder and answered Victoria's question before someone else could sense something.

“It’ll be a great idea. Isn’t it Am? We never say no to a free meal,” Taeng said it, tried to cheer up the sudden silence. Amber only smiled a little at Victoria and Taeng. Tiffany that stands not too far from them, heard and watched Krystal walked pass by them. Then, she approached them followed by Kangin behind her.

“I’m sorry Victoria-shi. We got another schedule after this,” Tiffany apologised to Victoria. She thinks it’s better if Krystal didn’t followed them besides it’s true that they got another schedule later on though she don’t know whether Krystal can handle it or not after what happened.

“Really, it’s ok then. Tell Krystal that I’m very grateful with her job today, she’s doing great. Oh, by the way Tiffany-shi, this is Amber-shi and Taeng-shi. Our photographer for today,” Victoria introduced them to each other. Tiffany smiled at both of the guys.

“And Amber-shi, this is Tiffany-shi, Krystal’s manager and Kangin-shi, Krystal’s bodyguard,” Victoria continued introduced them. Kangin was the first one extended his hand for a shake and the others were tagged along before him and Tiffany bid them a goodbye.

Tiffany and Krystal waited for Kangin at the back door. When Kangin arrived, they stepped in the van. Tiffany tried to talked with Krystal but been cut off first by Krystal.

“What’s next?” Krystal asked Tiffany but her eyes were wandering outside the van, tried avoided any gaze from both of them, Tiffany and Kangin.

“MV shoot with Infinite. You’ll be the main lead along with the Infinite members,” Tiffany told her after she checked it in her ipad 5.

“Ok, let’s get going then. Wake me up when we reach there,” Krystal said that to Tiffany and close her eyes to sleep. Tiffany and Kangin looked at each other, dumbfounded. Kangin raised his brows at Tiffany but she only shrugged her shoulders and finally they just let her be since she doesn’t looked like she wanted to talked about what just happened.

They reached at the music video shooting location. All of them stepped out from the van. It’s quite nice to feel the outside breeze since today they’re going to shoot it in the park, at least they could get the fresh air after been stucked inside the D’va building for hours. Not to mention the circumstances that happened inside the building, the awkwardness that suffocate them, they really need this to loose it. But none of them really knew what happened to Krystal, they didn’t know whether she’s shocked, sad or anything and Krystal just close it all by herself. Krystal greeted the staff and went directly to change her outfit and make-up. Kangin approached Tiffany when Krystal was shooting the music video.

“Did you ask her yet?” Kangin asked Tiffany.

“Not a chance,” Tiffany answered him. Both of them were fixed their eyes watching Krystal doing her job. The music video is about a girl that just been dumped by her boyfriend. What a perfect day, perfect time for Krystal to act that. None other days can compared to this.

“We just can wait till she open up to us or I can try to ask her tonight which is I don’t know when since obviously, this shooting not going to end in a couple of hours,” Tiffany added as a matter of fact.

“But he looks cool,” Kangin told Tiffany.

“Huh?” Tiffany turned her face at him with puzzling all over her face.

“I mean Amber. He doesn’t look like someone who’ll ditch his girlfriend for another girl,”

“Oppa, we can’t judge people by his look,”

“True but we also can judge people by only hearing one side story. Maybe the other side story was another version,” Kangin tried to reasoning with her.

“But still it doesn’t give him any right to cheat on her,” Tiffany lashed out at him.

“I know but what if there’s something else. Something more than just ‘he cheated on her’,” Again Kangin tried to reasoning with her.

“What, oppa? Likes there’s a super villain that try to breaking them up,” Tiffany said it while narrowed her eyes at him.

“Hey, it could be,” Kangin replied her back nonchalantly.

“Oh, oppa you watch too much tv. This is a real life, not a k-drama,” Tiffany said it sarcastically.

“Yah, don’t talk to your oppa like that. Besides, it’s not impossible,”

“Remind me again, why did we bickering about this while she’s doing her job, looking so fine,” Tiffany said that to Kangin. Both of their eyes were still focused on Krystal that shooting the music video.

“Because we care about her,” Kangin replied to her.

“Something that we couldn’t deny,” Both of them sighed for the umpteenth time today after they slipped that out at the same time.

Meanwhile, Amber and Taeng just arrived at the studio after taking their meal with Victoria and Sunny. Taeng were arranged their things back to their place after they used it during the photo shoot. Their camera, lenses, tripod and other things while Amber was spacing out with his body lean on the wall and his eyes were outside the glass window again.

“Am…AM…AMBER!” Taeng tried to called him again and again. Amber turned his face at him.

“Are you ok?” Taeng asked him, something that he really wanted to know after their first encounter with Krystal since 4 years ago.

“Wouldn’t it be a lie if I say I’m ok?” Amber asked him back.

“Am, you know this will happen. You can’t run away forever. Somehow, someday, her way will cross on you just like today. It’s meant to be that you’re the photographer that going to take the model pictures which is the model was her,” Taeng explained to him.

“I….I..don’t know, hyung. It just hard,” Amber told him.

“I don’t get it Am. You’re the one who choose another girl than her and you’re also the one who dump her but now, you’re the one who’s miserably missing for her,” Taeng said that to him with confusion all over his face while crossing his arm on his chest. Amber didn’t replied to what Taeng just said, he just grab his jacket and his hand phone.

“I’m gonna take…..” Amber words been cut off by Taeng.

“Another walk?” Taeng said that to him while raised one of his brows. Amber didn’t turned at him but his steps stopped for a while in front of the door after he heard what Taeng said to him. Though, after that Amber started walking out of the studio leaving Taeng behind. Taeng only can sighed and shook his head looking at his best friend’s behaviour. Looks like the couch got a company again tonight. Taeng thought.

As soon as the clock strike on 12 sharp in the midnight, Krystal, Tiffany, and Kangin finally reached their home. Krystal stormed off from the van, straight to her bedroom. Looks like someone is eagerly tried to avoided everyone. Kangin and Tiffany only can sighed and shrugged their shoulders, another chance slipped out from their hands.

“Looks like we have to wait till tomorrow to ask her,” Kangin said that to Tiffany after he locked the door.

“It’s ok, she looks fine as long as she didn’t do anything stupid. Besides, all of us were tired. She needs a rest,” Tiffany replied to Kangin.

“Yeah, me too. Been driving for the whole day, I might get a cramp tonight,” Kangin said it while yawned.Tiffany only grinned at him. Both of them getting ready to get inside their own room when the bell suddenly rang.

“Who’s coming in the middle of night?” Kangin groaned while Tiffany walked to the door and opened it. Her eyes wide opened when she opened the door.

“Surprise!” A familiar voice said that loudly. Kangin went to the door and his eyes also wide open.

“Snow queen,” His mouth slipped that out.

“YAH! Oppa, that’s the way how you greet your guest,” Her eyes blazing coldly at him.

“Well, it’s depend on who’s the guest,” Kangin said it nonchalantly.

“Oh, cut it out both of you. Come inside Jess, Yul,” Tiffany invited Jessica and Yul to come inside the house.

“Seobang, can you please bring the bag inside,” Jessica asked Yul.

“Yes, Sica baby,” Yul smiled at his fiancé while carrying their bag inside the house.

“You’re totally whipped man,” Kangin blurted it out.

“I heard that, hyung,” Yul said that to Kangin while narrowed his eyes at him.  

“Gladly,” Kangin smirked at him. It’s a normal thing for both of them since they already know each other for almost 4 years now. After Tiffany became Krystal’s manager, she asked Kangin that also one of her friend during primary school to become Krystal’s bodyguard and driver. Since that, Kangin know Jessica and Yul.

“So, why did you come?” Tiffany asked Jessica when both of them settle down on the couch.

“What do you mean by that? Can’t I visit my own best friend and baby sister?” Jessica asked her while narrowing her eyes at Tiffany.

“Oh, come on Jess, it’s not like that. It just that you usually gave us some kind of warning alarm before you come but tonight you just suddenly popped out in front of the door,” Tiffany explained to Jessica.

“Well, actually we came because we want to open another YulSic Shop in Seoul. So we came to arrange some documents and finding a good place to open it but since we already here, we decided to visit you guys too,” Jessica told Tiffany.

“Woa…that’s great. I know that you guys can go further, looks like YulSic Shop going to be one of the top clothing store here. But what about your parents?” Tiffany asked Jessica. Jessica grinned a little before she answered her.

“They good though sometimes they still talked about how they wished one of their daughters should follow their step and become lawyer but nah….it’s not my taste,” Jessica told Tiffany while making a disgusted face. Tiffany chuckles and so the others.

“Yeah, I can’t imagine if Jessica become a lawyer, it could be a disaster likes another tsunami just crush in here,” Kangin said it while shook his head, unbelievable.

“And why is that?” Jessica asked him while raising one of her brows and her arms crossed on her chest. She’s looking sharply at Kangin.

“You might frozen everyone in the court and bury them underground if they didn’t listen to you,” Everyone burst in laugh after hearing what Kangin just said even Yul.

“Seobang!” Jessica gave her fiancé her icy cold glare and a look showed that do-you-want-me-to-do-that-to-you. Yul quickly covered his mouth and looked at somewhere else while Kangin mouthed whipped man to Yul. Yul only staring at him in enraged.

“Oppa, you really wish to wake up in North Pole tomorrow morning, don’t you?” Again Jessica gave her cold deathly glare to Kangin while blazing furiously at him. Kangin swallowed his saliva and rapidly shook his head. Yul smirked at him. Tiffany only chuckles looked at them bickering and teasing each other. She missed this, it’s been a long time since they gathered and chatting with each other. How she wished Krystal also can be here so that their little family can be complete and perfect but after that circumstance, it’s quite hard. Tiffany thought.

“So, when’re you going home?” Kangin asked both of them.

“Tomorrow since we can’t leave the store too long. A lot of work need to be done,” Yul answered him.

“That’s early? I thought you’re going to stay here for a couple days,” Tiffany told them.

“Sorry, Tiff. Maybe next time and the next time, we’re going to take a long holiday till you’re the one who want to kick us out from this house for staying too long,” Yul said it to them. Jessica grinned and nodded at them.  

“Oh, I won’t do that but I don’t know about Kangin oppa since he never can stay longer with our snow queen,” Tiffany mocking Kangin. Kangin gave her a look of do-you-wish-to-die since he already felt the cold deathly glare of Jessica so he doesn’t wished to felt it again. Tiffany chuckles looked at him.

“Don’t worry. He can’t do anything,” Jessica said while smirked at Kangin. Kangin gave her a questioning look.

“Oppa, you’re the one who said that I might frozen and bury people underground if they don’t listen to me so you certainly doesn’t want that happened to you, don’t you?” Jessica told him and Kangin looked down, doesn’t dare to looked at the snow queen again. The others only chuckles looking at Kangin and Jessica.

“Enough of that. How’s my baby?” Jessica asked both of them. Tiffany and Kangin looked at each other, feel torn whether should tell Jessica about what happened or not.

“Why don’t you see her by yourself. I bet she still not sleeping yet,” Tiffany told her. Jessica looked at them suspiciously but still walked upstairs to her sister bedroom.

“I’ll make a drink for you guys,” Tiffany told both of the guys before she went to the kitchen. Yul giving a questioning looks at Kangin but he only shrugged his shoulders.

Jessica knocked on Krystal’s bedroom door and entered it when no one answered her. Only the bed lamps were on, giving a dim of light inside the room. There some mess beside the table with magazines and a couple of mineral bottles be spread around the floor. Looks like someone just thrown a tantrum. Jessica thought. She went near the bed and she looked at a bundle that already been covered by the duvet.

“Krys baby….” Jessica opened the duvet slowly and a pair of eyes looking at her suspiciously since there’s only a little of light in the room, it’s quite hard to see the face but eventually the person under the duvet recognize her sister when she heard her voice. She quickly came out from her cover and hugging her sister tightly. Jessica hugged her back thought she felt a little strange, something was not right. Jessica thought.

“Baby, are you….” Jessica words been cut off by Krystal.

“No, I’m not….I’m not ok…..I’m not fine….I tried but I can’t…. It’s hard…so hard, unni,” Krystal sobbed so hard while hugged Jessica. Her tears wetted Jessica clothes. She let out all of her feeling and emotion that she been holding in since this morning.

“Syyh….baby..it’s ok. I’m here. Syyh…” Jessica kept saying the soothing words while rubbed her back gently and her other hand her hair softly. Something definitely wrong, Jessica can sense it.

“Please, don’t ask me why…just hold me, unni. Hold me, please,” Krystal told Jessica along with her sobs while hugged her sister tightly and closer likes tried to find some comfort and warmth in the hug.

“Syyh…. It’s fine. I won’t let you go, baby,” Jessica still coax Krystal. They stayed like that for almost an hour till Krystal fell asleep. Jessica tucked her in bed and leaved the room when she assured that Krystal was sleeping.

Jessica went downstairs and looked at both of the people that stayed with Krystal during this entire time. She determined to get an answer.

“I demand an explanation,” Jessica told them in emphasized tone while crossing her arms on her chest. Kangin and Tiffany looked at each other and sighed. Yul looking confuse, tried to comprehend with the situation.

“He’s back,” A simple answer from Tiffany but enough for Jessica to understand who was ‘he’ true is and enough to make her blood boiling in furious.

“What do you mean he’s back? I need to know more, Tiff. I didn’t expect to see my baby crying so hard when I visit her,” Jessica tone a little high this time. Yul went to her side, tried to cool her down. Who knows what might happened when the snow queen in high dudgeon and he doesn’t want to wait till it happened.

“Sica baby, you need to calm down. I’m sure they have a good explanation for this,” Yul tried to reasoning with her. Jessica took a deep breath tried to cool her raging and waited to hear their explanation. Eventually, Tiffany told her everything from the very start, from the night Krystal got drunk till she came home today. There’s no point to hide it from Jessica now.

“And you don’t have any slightest idea to tell me about this, Tiff,” Jessica glare at her best friend. Her anger was controlling her right now.

“I want to but Krystal ask me not to tell you,” Tiffany tried to reasoning with her.

“You knew that she always want to hide everything from me mostly when it comes to something like this. But that’s why I have you here, to tell me if something happened, if anything goes wrong. Not also hide it from me,” Jessica high pitched can be heard inside the house.

“Jess….” Before Tiffany could say anything more, Jessica cut her words.

“I wanna sleep. This is too much for one night,” Jessica stomped her feet to her bedroom. Tiffany slumped down on the couch and rubbed her temple. She knew that an angry Jessica wasn’t a very pleasant person but somehow she felt guilty for hiding it from her. She didn’t mean it to be like this. She just tried to tolerate with Krystal.

“I’ll try talk to her. Don’t take it to your heart. You know, how possessive Jessica is when it comes to Krystal,” Yul tried to persuade Tiffany and walked to Jessica’s room.

“Tiff…” Kangin squeeze lightly Tiffany shoulder.

“I’m fine, oppa. Don’t worry. I’m already expect this from Jessica,” Tiffany smiled a little at him, gave him an assurance that she was alright.

The next morning, Tiffany woke up early since she needs to prepare an extra breakfast because there’s more people in the house. Fortunately, Krystal’s schedule started a little bit late today. Jessica was the first one that entered the kitchen.

“Tiff…” Jessica called Tiffany.

“Morning, I make breakfast. It’s going to ready soon,” Tiffany greeted her with a smile on her face.

“Tiff…I’m…” Guilt was filling up in Jessica’s chest.

“It’s ok, I get it. Besides, I shouldn’t hide it from you,” Tiffany told her.

“Oh, Tiff, you don’t know how glad I’m when you didn’t mad at me but I still want to apologise. I should never say like that last night. You already tried your best, it wasn’t your fault,”

“Hey, told you it’s ok. Besides, I’m already used to it. I’ve got two Jung to handle in my life,” Tiffany said that to Jessica tried to cheer up the mood.

“Yaaah….you can’t regret. Only a great person can handle the Jung’s sister,”

“I know. I’m the most supreme amazing person,” Tiffany said it with a proud face.

“Pfft…so full of yourself,” Jessica snickered at her while grinning.

“Deal with it. You never can’t get this kind of best friend from anywhere else,” Tiffany said that to her, still deosn’t want to give up with Jessica.

“I know and I’m happy that I have you,”

“Uuu…that so touchy for early in the morning,” Tiffany teased Jessica. It’s not always that the snow queen showed her emotion so Tiffany wouldn’t let it go just like that.

“Yah!” Jessica hit her arm lightly and both of them giggles.

“Morning, ladies. What so funny?” Yul greeted them and went to his fiancé, giving her a slight peck on the cheek.

“It’s the girls thing, seobang. You doesn’t have to know,” Jessica told him. Before Yul could say anything, they been greeted by Kangin’s voice.

“Emm…I smell something good,” Kangin said it while savouring the tasty smell.

“I make breakfast for everyone. Now, it’s only need to be serve on the table and then, we can eat,” Tiffany said it happily. It’s been a long time since they can have a breakfast together like this without needs to rushed for the schedule.

“I’ll help,” Jessica said to her. Soon, Krystal also joined them for the breakfast.

“Unni, you’re leaving this morning, right?” Krystal asked Jessica.

“Yes, I’m sorry baby I couldn’t stay longer but next time, we’ll spend more time together, ok,” Jessica told her.

“It’s ok, unni. I understand,” Krystal said it while smiling at her. Jessica ruffled Krystal’s hair with a smile plastered on her face. Everything seems so fine and peaceful that morning. Tiffany asked Kangin to dropped her at her favourite café after sending Jessica and Yul to the airport. She needs her cappuccino to boost her energy before they started working following the schedule for today.

Tiffany went inside the café and ordered her usual drinks but something else occurred today before she can enjoy her peaceful morning with her favourite drinks. An accident happened.

“Oh, I’m sorry. I’m really, really sorry,” Tiffany apologised to that guy after she accidently bumped to him and her cappuccino wetted that guy’s jacket. A brown stain can be seen on that clear coloured jacket. How embarrassing? It wasn’t only she just make a mess on that guy’s jacket but to make it worse, that guy was handsome like a prince charming in the Cinderella story, like Orlando Bloom but in cute Korean version. Ok, maybe she’s exaggerated a little but that guy really is a good-looking.  Tiffany thought. She can felt her cheek was reddened, perhaps like a tomato right now.

“It’s ok. It just a jacket. I can take it off,” That guy told her while smiling, showing his dimples. That guy chuckles a little looking at her blushing cheek. Cute, he thought. Then, something clicked in his head when he clearly can saw her face.

“Tiffany, right. Krystal’s manager?” That guy asked her. Tiffany looked at him, puzzling.

“I’m Taeng. We met at the photo shoot,” He told her.

“Ahh, yes. You’re the other photographer….with him,” Tiffany said it though her tone sound a little off when she said ‘him’.

“Well, Taeng-shi what about I treat you a coffee as an apologise for your jacket,” Tiffany asked him quickly before the other could sense her little off in her tone earlier.

“I can’t say no to an offer from such a beauty, right,” Taeng grinned at her. Tiffany blushed more.

They sat at the corner inside the café and ordered their drinks.

“So, Tiffany-shi what’re you doing here? As far as I know that, became a top hallyu idol’s manager is quite busy,” Taeng started a conversation with her.

“Yeah, it is but today the schedule start quite late so I’ve got a little time for myself,” Tiffany answered him.

“Well, I’m glad then,” Taeng told her.

“And could you please tell me why is that,” Tiffany said that to him, a little confused.

“Because if not, I lose my chance to meet you here now,” Taeng told her.

“You’re quite an interesting guy,” Tiffany grinned at him.

“Thank you. A lot of people said that,” Taeng said that to her. Tiffany chuckles a little.

“Can I ask you something?” Tiffany asked him. Taeng only showed a gesture, a sign that she could proceed with her question.

“Do you know Amber?” Tiffany asked Taeng.

“Yeah, I knew him since we’re a little kid,” Taeng answered her. But he could sense something from her question.

“So, do you know about….” Taeng cut off her words.

“His love story with Krystal,” Taeng told her. Tiffany startled a little but still nodded.

“I could say that, half of my teen time was circling around their love story,” Taeng told her.

“So you knew them better. I want to know about your opinion, do you think he really love her?” Finally, that’s it, a question that she always wanted to know the answer since the first time she knew about him and Krystal.

“What can I say is, I never meet any other guy that can love a girl like how he love her,” Taeng told her without hesitant.

“Then, why?” Confusion clearly can be seen all over Tiffany’s face. He love her but he cheat on her, he love her but he dump her, something that Tiffany never can understand.

“I don’t have the answer. Even I also hope that I know why,” Taeng told her while shrugged his shoulders.

“I…give me a minute,” Tiffany words been cut off when her hand phone ringing. She picked up the call.

“Yes, oppa. I’ll wait for you in front of the café,” Tiffany hung up the call later on.

“Works call?” Taeng asked her.

“Yeah, looks like we’ve to end it here. It’s nice to know you, Taeng-shi,” Tiffany told him.

“We still have other time, right. And can I call you Fany? I feel awkward using the formality,”     

“Sure but Fany?” Tiffany looks puzzling.

“Why? Does it sound bad? We can change that,” Taeng said that to her, flustered a little.

“No, it just rare people call me Fany,” Tiffany told him while smiling.

“Well, I’m glad then. If I can be the one and only person who call you like that, it’ll make me feel much more happier,” Taeng smiling widely at her.

“Are you try to flirting with me, Taeng-shi?” Tiffany asked him while looking at him.

“It depends on how you look at it, Fany-ah,” Taeng said that to her in adorable tone. Tiffany chuckles. A new message coming through in her hand phone and she opened it.

“Oh, they already here. I should take my leave now. I really enjoying my time here with you…..Taetae,” Tiffany giggles and waved him a goodbye before he could say anything. Taeng waved her back.

“Taetae?” Taeng thought for a while but then, he grinned. It’s quite childish but he thought it’s cute too mostly when she’s the one who called him that.

The guy felt he could lose his favourite jacket for an exquisite chance meet a beauty like her. While the girl thought it wasn’t a waste to buy another cappuccino for a delightful meeting with an interesting guy like him.

In the interval, somewhere in the centre city of love, Paris, there’s a guy standing proudly in his best Calvin Klein suit in Park Hyatt Hotel looking outside the glass window in his room while talking over his hand phone.

“So, they’ve met huh?” He asked the other line.

“No, don’t do anything yet. Just keep watching them and report it back to me,” He ordered the other line and hung up the call.

‘Don’t forget about the deal, little brat but I’m going to let you have some fun first’ He mumbled to no one. He pursed his mouth in a self-satisfied smirk, there’s some sense of arrogant in it.
