“Today’s the day, Kookie.” Taehyung reminded Jungkook for the nth time since this morning. “How could I forget?” Jungkook rolled his eyes. Although on the outside, it seemed like he was calm and composed, inside, his mind was a mess.

The both of them made their way into the usual crowded hallway. The bell had just rung making everyone rush to their lockers to hurry and head home. Jungkook would have been one of those students, but not today.

“So,” Taehyung started as they picked their bags from their lockers. “How do you plan on doing it?”

Jungkook shrugged, slinging his backpack onto his shoulder “I’ll just tell her.” Taehyung immediately slammed his locker shut and faced Jungkook with his hand resting on his hip. “What do you mean you’re just going to tell her?”

“Aren’t you going to do all those sweet things they do in the movies?” Taehyung had his eyes as wide as saucers as he stared down at his friend. He was always a big fan of movies therefore he is always greatly influenced by them.

Jungkook closed his locker then faced him, “That’s the thing,” He placed his hand on Taehyung’s shoulder, giving it a firm pat. “They’re movies. Just movies.” Jungkook walked past him, searching for that particular girl that had always caught his attention.

“But girls like those things! They like sweet things and so they like sweet guys! How are you just going to win her heart by confessing to her in a corridor like this?” Taehyung was slowly losing the determination to convince him since Jungkook wasn’t really the person to be easily convinced anyway.

“Then I guess it’s time to make a change. I’ll have a lot of time to be as sweet as those candies she eats when I win her heart.” Jungkook’s heart immediately sped up
