Yoongi took the towel which was draped onto the back of one of the chairs pushed back against the practice room wall and wiped the beads of sweat that trickled down the sides of his face. He placed a hand on his chest as he tried to even out his breathing and shut his eyes which instantly brought some sort of relaxed feeling through his body.

“That was productive,” Namjoon managed to speak up despite his heavy breathing. Everyone went to their separate corners of the room with strained and quick breaths. They had an early start this morning.  From eight in the morning until seven in the evening they’ve been having dance practice for their upcoming concert. Though they had a few fifteen minute breaks in between they couldn’t help but let the fatigue settle into their systems.

Jimin was sprawled on the floor with his limbs extended as if he were a starfish with sweat dripping from his hairline down to his chin and curved at his jaw. Taehyung practically collapsed on the couch as he decided to take a quick nap before they packed up and finished the day. Jungkook and Jin were standing directly in front of the electric fan with their water bottles in their hands as they tried to cool down.

Yoongi slumped on the floor and pulled his knees against his chest and rested his head on the armrest of the black couch which carried a sleeping Taehyung. He glanced at his phone and felt a hollow feeling in his chest as he noticed that he hasn’t gotten at least one message from Jihan the whole day.

For some weird reason, he secretly waited for her calls or even just her short text messages each day he was away from her and stuck in the practice room. He waited for those simple words he told him to help him get through the day and not let the exhaustion get to him.  He didn’t mind though. He didn’t mind that even though he wanted to be with her as much as possible, he didn’t mind that on some days he would have to wake up just when the moon has kissed the horizon and he won’t even get the chance to say goodbye to her before leaving for work then come home when the chilly breeze of the night surrounded the room with that comfortable morning scent and her falling asleep on the couch as she waited for him to arrive.

Thinking of this now, it made him feel quite guilty and every time he opens his front door and finds her asleep on the couch or her head rested on the coffee table as she sat with her legs crossed on the floor he couldn’t help but hate himself a little as he put down his things and carry her from her uncomfortable position up to the room where he carefully tucked her into bed.

“Yoongi-ah, start packing up.” Seokjin said as he slung his bag over his shoulder and turned off the banging music that bounced on the three white walls of the room as one wall was a whole mirror for them to use when they had practice.  “Right,” Yoongi sighed and pushed his phone into his pocket and gathered his things that were scattered around the room from staying at different spots the whole day.

Taehyung came running into the room as he came from the lavatory and held up his phone to Namjoon’s face while jumping around. “Hyung, I’m hungry and I just saw a picture of beef on SNS! Let’s go out to eat, please!”  Jungkook’s ears perked up when he heard of Taehyung’s plan and went to Jin to beg as well until the whole room erupted with whines and stomping of feet.

“Alright, alright!” Namjoon didn’t want to admit it but he too was starving. He thought that after a day of work they deserved a reward for their hard work. “We’ll wait for you guys downstairs at the van, alright?” Hoseok and  Namjoon and not so long later were followed by the rest of their members.

Yoongi sighed as he pushed his phone back into his pocket and reached out to stick the key into its keyhole of the front door. It’s ten in the evening and still nothing from Jihan. He was beyond disappointed and he felt like he just wanted to crash on his bed and mope.  

He knew she was busy but he was selfish and he wanted even just a little bit of her time; just to let him know that he crossed her mind. He just wanted a little reminder that she was thinking of him. “Aish,” He said and pushed the door open only to be greeted by silence and darkness. It was so still that it sent a shiver up
