“Happy birthday noona!” Jungkook jumped up from the table and gave her a warm hug. “Thank you, kookie!” Miho smiled as she hugged him back and she could just see the rest of his hyungs behind him with wide smiles on their faces. “How are you going to celebrate today, noona?” Jungkook pulled away then let her sit down on his previous seat then sat on the spot next to hers. “Miho and I are going to celebrate after classes later.” Taehyung hung his arm around Miho’s shoulders as he shifted his weight onto her side.

The table erupted with groans and sighing leaving him to chuckle to himself. “Hey! Taehyung, don’t be selfish and just keep her all to yourself!” Namjoon threw his fist in the air as he protested. Everyone nodded in agreement with a few ‘Yes’s and fist bumps amongst each other. “I’m her favourite in the group and since we have the same birthday, as a birthday gift to myself, I’m going to be selfish and keep her all to myself.” Taehyung made Vs with his fingers and stuck his tongue out at them.

“Excuse you, maknae is my favourite.” Miho playfully pushed Taehyung away and clung onto a laughing Jungkook causing loud ‘Oh’s from everyone. “Sorry, hyung. I’m irresistible.” Jungkook chuckled as he mimicked the actions of Taehyung and sent him an exaggerated wink. “Ugh, you guys are so mean to the birthday boy.” Taehyung contorted his face with his arms crossed as if he were a five year old throwing a tantrum. “Stop it. You look so ugly.” Namjoon laughed as he pushed his face away.

After a few more minutes of bantering, they finally finished their lunch and packed up. “You guys, we’re so late.” Miho sighed as they hurriedly disposed of their trash and exited the empty cafeteria as everyone had already gone to their respective classes. “You’re lucky,” Jin pointed at Miho and Taehyung as he rolled his eyes. “It’s you birthdays today plus you have the same classes and the teachers would let you off the hook today.” Yoongi and Jin waved goodbye as they sprinted to their classes.

“I think you guys should head off too,” Taehyung pointed at Namjoon and Hoseok who were casually playing on their phones as if there wasn’t a rule that they weren’t allowed to use their phones during class hours. “Getting rid of us, I see?” Namjoon snickered as he kept his phone into his pocket then nodded at Hoseok. “See you guys later.” Hoseok said before they took off. “Maknae, where are you going?” Jimin turned around to Jungkook who was trailing behind us. “Oh, I have free period.” He answered nonchalantly.

“That isn’t fair!” Miho stomped her foot on the floor but instead received a soft laughter from Jungkook. “I’ll be heading to the library.” He said before making a left; leaving the three of us in the hallway. “Jimin, your class is separate from ours, just saying.” Miho tried to remind Jimin that he was the only left who didn’t have the birthday privilege for the day. “So?” Jimin formed creases on his forehead as he stuffed his phone back into his pocket. “Which means you should probably run before you get even more late for class.” Taehyung pushed his shoulder causing him to almost trip.

“Yah! Taehyung, you want to die?” Jimin showed his fists in front of them as he gritted his teeth playfully. “You should go,” Miho chuckled and turned left to the other hallway towards the direction of her and Taehyung’s room. “I’ll see you guys later!” Jimin hollered followed by fast but heavy footsteps. “So what do we say when we walk in?” I turned to Taehyung just before we reached the door of our classroom. “Who cares? It’s our birthdays anyway.” He chuckled and held onto the doorknob. “You speak, I’ll go.” Miho said as she dashed into the room and sat onto her seat; leaving Taehyung at the doorway with everyone’s eyes on him. “Why so late?” Ms. Cheon’s strict voice echoed through the room.

“Birthday privilege,” Taehyung smiled as he wiggled his eyebrows and mimicked guns with his fingers as if he were a cowboy shooting his guns. “I’ll let you be, but just today.” Ms. Cheon rolled her eyes and continued her lecture. “Happy birthday, Taehyung-ah!” The girls whispered to him as he made his way to his desk. “It’s Miho’s birthday too,
