Jin kicked the backdoor of his house open as he was carrying a bunch of blankets and pillows in his arms. “Eunhye, can you bring the ice cream and popcorn out as well!” He said over his shoulder right before the door slammed shut. “Sure!” Eunhye said as she took the bowl of popcorn both her hands. “I’ll come back for the ice cream.” She mumbled and followed Jin out the backdoor.

She placed the popcorn bowl down onto the blanket that Jin had spread out over the green grass. “Good thing it didn’t rain yesterday or the grass would be too wet.” He pointed at the blanket and she nodded in agreement. “I’ll go get my player.” He said and ran back into the house. Eunhye looked up to the sky and saw the moon that was out in the sky together with a little bit of sunlight.

It was already six in the evening which means it’s about to get dark soon. Eunhye shuffled back into the house to fetch the tub of chocolate ice cream that was sitting on the counter. “Got it!” Jin came down the stairs as he held the device in his hands and pushed the door open for her. “Thanks.” She smiled as she walked through the door and he followed.

“I’m so excited for this star gazing thing.” She said and placed the tub down onto the blanket. “I’m excited, too.” Jin smiled and sat on down. “Do you think we’ll see a shooting star?” Eunhye turned to him and popped a piece of popcorn into . “Hopefully,” He chuckled opened the ice cream tub.

“Oh shoot, I forgot the mugs.” Eunhye jumped up and ran back into the house causing Jin to chuckle once again. She pulled out the drawer that kept the spoons and took two mugs from the cabinet. She fished for two spoons from the drawer and pushed it closed. Eunhye went back outside and handed one of the mugs and spoons to Jin. “Thanks,” He took it from her and quickly scooped out of the ice cream.

Once he was done, he stretched his hand to her and placed the mug on her hand. “Here,” He said and took the empty mug. Eunhye happily took a few spoons of ice cream into . “What movie do you wanna watch?” She turned to Jin who was stuffing his face with the sweet treat.

“We’re under the stars. It should be The Fault In Our Stars.” He laughed with his spoon shaking in front of his face. “Ouch,” He laughed when the spoon hit his nose. “You have ice cream on your nose.” Eunhye pointed and wiped it with a napkin.

“It’s been a long time since we’ve had a movie night.” Jin leaned back on the blanket and let out a satisfied sigh. “Yeah, I’ve been really busy with school and so were you.” Eunhye placed her mug down and lay down next to him. “Yeah, dance practices are really exhausting.” Jin contorted his face. “At least I get to relax today.” He added. He turned his head to her but he quickly moved back a little when he realized how close their faces were. “Uhm—How ‘bout you?” He looked away. “I barely get any sleep with all the projects and papers that are due.” She looked at him.

Jin placed his mug down and took the disk of the movie and placed it into the CD player with a small screen attached to it. “I haven’t watched this movie but I read the book.” Eunhye propped herself up on one of the fluffy pillows Jin had brought. “And I cried when I read the book.” She added.

“It’s going to make you cry.” Jin smiled and continued eating. Eunhye just shrugged and averted her eyes to the small screen. “It’s getting dark.” Jin looked up at the sky, silently counting the few stars that began to appear.

“What time is it?” She asked him who seemed to not have heard her since he was too busy gazing at the bright dots on the sky. Eunhye smiled at how interested he was and turned back to the screen. “I want to have a projector.” Jin suddenly said. “What for?” She turned to him once again. “So that when we have movie nights we could use the projector to watch.” He raised his hands and drew shapes in the air. “That’d be really cool.” Eunhye smiled. “Yeah, it would be.”

They lay back down on the blanket as the movie continued to play. “The stars are so beautiful.” Eunhye looked up at the dark but bright sky. “I wish every night would be like this.” She reached her hands up in the air like she a child. Jin watched her as she took in pleasure from the pleasant view. A smile crept onto his lips as he took in her beauty. Eunhye turned to him.
