Doojoon’s POV

I was not able to sleep for the whole night.

1 year passed so quickly.

And I was surprised that she’s back.

Many things have changed since she left.

Even my relationship with Jihyun.

Should I end my relationship with her now?

I walked towards Mr Shin office.

*Knock Knock*

“Come in.”

I pushed the door opened and entered the room.

“Hi Doojoon!” Gina stood up from the couch and gave me a hug.

“Hi noona.” I sat down beside her.

“Doojoon.” Mr Shin came to sit on the couch opposite of us. “Gina will be filming her MV next week and she wanted you to be the male lead. Both of you will be acting as couples.”

“Yes, I know.” I replied softly.

Just as I expected.

“I was worried that the MV may get some critism since you are on a dating program with Jihyun.” He continued. “But it may also be beneficial as it will increase discussions and other people’s concern to the MV. Gina strongly recommended you when we asked for her opinion.”

I turned to look at Gina noona’s expression. She was really happy.

But she grew even more mature and more beautiful.

I wondered if I have changed too.

“I’m alright with that.” I shrugged my shoulders.

If that makes noona happy, I’ll be willing.

“Good. We’ll film it next week.” Mr Shin gave a satisfied smile. “Do a great job, Doojoon.” He patted my shoulders.

I smiled weakly.

I wonder what would Jihyun think.

Jihyun’s POV

Since yesterday, I have been worrying about Doojoon.

He was acting so weird after that phone call.

It seems like he distanced himself from me on purpose.

“AHHHH, Jihyun unnie….” Jiyoon whined. “You missed the beat again!”

“Huh… did I?” I looked at the rest.

Hyuna and Sohyunnie nodded.

“Sorry.” I apologized for the x times today.

“Let’s have a rest.” Hyuna suggested. “I’m going out to look for Gikwang oppa.”

“Then I’ll accompany you.” Jiyoon linked arms with Hyuna.

Those 2 dorks…

It’s so obvious that they’re dating the guys in Beast.

But I’m a bit envious too…

“Why are you so distracted today?” Gayoon passed me a bottle of water as we sat on the floor.

“Nothing.” I avoided Gayoon’s gaze.

Gayoon was the most sensitive person of us all, I was afraid she may see through what I was thinking.

“Is there something wrong between you and Doojoon oppa?” Sohyun asked as she wiped her sweat off her face.

I froze for a minute.

“No.. No… Who would think about him?!” I stuttered. “I need to go find Mr Shin for something. It’s urgent..”

I quickly rushed out of the room.

Gayoon and Sohyun exchanged eye contact and they both smiled.

I entered the lift and pressed the button.

Phew… I leaned back on the wall, panting heavily.

AISH… Why are my cheeks burning away? So embarrassing.

Ding~

The lift door opened and I stepped out.

“I’m so glad… Doojoon. We must do our best together! Hehe.”

Doojoon?

Where?!

I quickly hid back into the lift.

Wait a minute, why am I hiding away? And what a familiar voice.

I stuck my head out and took a peek.

When I saw what was outside, my eyes opened wide.

It was Gina and Doojoon chatting happily.

When did Gina unnie come back? Is this why Doojoon avoided me?

As I saw them getting even closer, I decided to close the door.

But before the doors slammed shut, a hand went between it and the doors bounced open.

Doojoon’s POV

“Wait up!” I shouted as I saw the lift doors were about to shut.

But it seemed that the person in the lift could not hear me.

So I decided to run for it.

Almost immediately, I put my hand between the closing doors.

I walked in.

“Hey, didn’t you just hear us say ‘wait up’?” I looked at the person in the lift and was stunned.

Jihyun too, seemed surprised at my sudden appearance.

“Hi, Jihyun!” Gina noona greeted with a smile as she stepped into the lift.

 “Hi, Gina unnie.” She smiled awkwardly.

Gina’s POV

As a woman, I immediately sensed something wrong when we were in the lift.

Maybe…

I hoped my intuition was wrong.

Gayoon’s POV

It’s been quite sometime since I have seen Hyunseung oppa as they have been busy preparing for their comeback album.

Finally, we had time for a meal together.

“Hyunseung oppa, how’s your new album going?” I smiled.

“It was tiring, but fun.” Hyunseung sat closer. “What about you?”

“Busy practicing and filming our show.” I held his hands lightly under the table.

Finally, we were officially dating.

//Flashback begins//

2 weeks ago…

4minute girls were at the dorm, lazing around after entire day of practice.

All of a sudden, someone rang the doorbell.

“I’ll get it.” Jihyun hopped towards the door and opened it.

It was the Beast boys.

“We are planning to go get some supper, wanna join us?” Junhyung put his arms around his girlfriend.

“Ok. I’ll ask the rest.” Jihyun escaped from his hug and ran into the house.

In the end, everyone except me, went out.

You may think it was because I did not want to go out, but the fact was, I was bathing when they plotted this plan.

“Where is everyone?” I came out of the washroom with my undergarments and a towel wrapped around my body. “Sohyun? Hyuna?”

“They went for supper with the Beast members.” Hyunseung suddenly stood up from the sofa and faced me.

“Supper? Then why are you here?” I was confused.

Hyunseung’s face turned red and looked away.

“Maybe you should put on some clothes before I explain that.” He blushed.

I looked down.

“AHHHHHHHHH!”

-After 10 minutes-

I poured a cup of tea for him and sat down in front.

But we were still embarrassed to look at each other’s face.

After a while, Hyunseung finally starts the conversation.

“Err… I told them I have something to tell you… So I stayed behind and waited for you.” He took a peek at me.

“So what did you want to tell me about?” I looked down and played with my fingers.

Something tells me that he is going to tell me about the relationship between us.

“Will you be my girlfriend? For real?” He mumbled.

//Flashback ends//

Of course I said yes. It was a dream come true for me.

“This is for you.” He passed me a box.

I opened it and saw a silver necklace glimmering with a ring as its pendant.

“It’s beautiful!” I took the necklace out of the box and observed it.

“Let me help you with it.” Hyunseung stood up and put the necklace gently around my neck.

“I have one too.” He continued. “The ring is a magnet that will attract another ring.”

“So it’s a couple ring, right?” I grinned.

“Yup.” He smiled. “But I prefer to have necklace as ring or bracelet is easily noticeable to others.”

I was so touched by his thoughtful actions that I gave him a peck on his cheeks.

It seemed like he liked it, because he held my hands and our fingers crossed.

But little did we know that sweet moments would last so fast.
