Han River.

 

Checking everything was fine and set, finally Jiyong bid his goodbye to Dara with weak voice which seems to be whispering to her ears. “Dara, promise me that you will take a good care of yourself from now on… Eat properly, get enough sleep and focus on your career. Maybe I won’t be around you that often anymore to look after you… Arasso?”

 

That broke her heart. Really bad… Not only into little pieces, but into dusts. He was saying goodbye to her!! He will leave her here alone and not even bother to send her back to her dorm!!! BASTARDDDD!!!!! Dara suddenly shot up her eyes to him fiercely and stood up from the ground strongly. She was so damn ready to launch forward and delivered couple blows to his handsome face! Oh no! Not couple punches, but bring out a bazooka!! She swears to kill him now!!!

 

Weirdly Jiyong welcomed her glare with his naughty eyes and famous boyish smile that could melt all girl’s heart in the world. His contour face was illuminating by the warm and dimming light candles in the jar all around the ground.

 

 

She gasped and turned her body to the left and right to realize Han River that used to be black out and dark couple minutes ago was now glowing like fields of gold. The place was filled with little candles in the jar and soft radiance. Dara was rooted on her spot… Her eyes were growing bigger as she brought her feet faintly to approach Jiyong unconsciously.

 

But the boy quickly put a halt to her steps. “Dara, stop right there. Don’t come forward to me, I’m not yet done. Please wait for couple more seconds…”

 

“Why? Why I can’t come to you? … What the hell is going on here? … … I’m freaking out real bad now, Ji…” She stopped herself from moving forward to him just like what he had instructed her but her head was snapping to the left and right, looking her surroundings with scared face. Everything was silent. There’s nobody here. Only her and Jiyong.

 

“What is this about, Ji? Tell me…” Her voice was shaking and she didn’t even dare to blink her eyes.

 

Out of the blue, she could hear a soft tune of piano from her back. A very familiar melody… Her heart skipped a beat once the tune that she missed the most gently filling her ears. Her eyes instantly moistened.

“Please… Somebody tell me… … What am I doing here? … … Who is playing the god damn piano?! … What is happening here?!”

 

Since Jiyong didn’t answer her question, she turned her body to search the source of the lovely tune. She knew exactly, it was from her back. She saw a black gorgeous grand piano and Youngbae was sitting there, smiling warmly towards her as he kept on playing the intro of the music. His fingers continued on dancing on the piano flawlessly. There’s a stem of red rose on the piano.

 

“Bae, since when are you here? … And what are you doing playing a piano in this hour? Aren’t you cold for wearing only a hoodie?”

 

Dara was narrowing her eyes and staring at Youngbae with confused face. She was taking off her scarf and about to give it to Youngbae, but Youngbae just chuckled on Dara expression as his eyes were turning into a sweet crescents moon. Her face was really DAEBAK and priceless! His Dara noona has never changed. She always worried about somebody else even though her nose was all red because she was getting frozen by the cold weather and for crying!

 

“Noona, I’m Taeyang… Your only sun. Of course I’m fine. Don’t worry, just wear the scarf to warm you up ^^! You were asking, why am I playing the piano on this hour? Here’s the answer...”

 

Youngbae’s fingers were trembling in cold and nervousness slowly eating him up but he still flashed his warm smile to his noona. He tried to cover the coldness with his sunny smile… Yes, he had to do this right for his brother, Jiyong. This is the precious moment. Nobody will ever forget tonight. Especially Sandara Park. For tonight, is the night that she will remember for the rest of her life. Youngbae played the most important role here and Jiyong was working hard on planning this thing perfectly. He filled his lungs with fresh and cool air. Now he is ready. He smiled to Jiyong, then to Dara. He cleared out his throat and spoke gently followed by the tune of his piano.

Dara never left her eyes from the man who shyly smiles like a truly foolish to her face. A foolish who loves her endlessly and willing to give up the world for her… Her eyes were glistening. The tears were ready to fall by any second. Jiyong’s romantic poem, Youngbae’s soft voice, the warm candles around them and the sweet melody of her favorite song from the piano. She quickly rubbed her eyes to prevent the tears from falling freely to her cheeks.

 

There in front of her, a man standing proudly with y smirk! No nervous could be seen on his god damn perfect face! The man started to whistle a song again… Exactly the same song that Youngbae is still playing with the piano until now. Jiyong only whistled for seconds then Dara could saw Daesung and Minzy, Top and Bommie were stepping into her sight. The couples were carrying something big on their hands.

 

“! Sorry for cursing… but I swear I have no idea on what is going on here??!!! Why everybody is here?! Why are you wearing all black??!! Is someone dead??!!!”Dara screamed panicky with high pitch tone of voice! Now she is starting to hate Han River! She always got heart attack here!!! NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

 

Daesung and Minzy were making their way standing on Jiyong’s left side, holding a very big cage which was covered by a thick black fabric. The cage could fit in a big dog! While Bommie and Top was also holding a big cage which covered by black fabric too on Jiyong’s right side. They were all waving their hands happily to Dara.

 

“Yah! I thought all of you are sleeping peacefully in the dorm!!!! I even tiptoeing when I went out from the dorm because I’m so freaking scared to wake you all!!!” Dara exploded instantly to her girls! But then she scanned at the big cage… She was all curious!

 

‘Omooo!!! Please don’t tell me that they are bringing Homie, Gaho, Jolie and Charlie here??!!?!?! Should I start to run now?!’ She cursed in her mind! When she was about to prepare herself on running away, a voice stopped her feet.

 

“Darong ah… I love you so much! We will always be Park sister forever! Nothing can replace my dorky sister! I love you!“ Bommie was the first one to break the silence of the atmosphere and Top knew that Bommie was trying so hard for not to cry in front of Dara.

 

“Aishhhh! Pabo, don’t you dare to cry Bommie. We have to make this right! Don’t say such touchy words to her… You will ruin everything!” Top was squeezing Bommie’s hand warmly and caressing his thumb to her knuckle.

 

“Dara e-eonni! M-my precious Dara eonni!!! You deserve it… Y-you deserve the be-best in this wo-world! JEONGMAL SARANGHEYOOOOO!!!!” Minzy was crying like a river because she can’t hold the feeling inside her heart anymore. Even though her voice was stammering but she force herself to speak out loud.

 

Daesung hurriedly put down the big cage and embraced Minzy tightly. He kissed her head to comfort the little girl from crying and resting her head onto his chest. Then Daesung flashed his addictive bright smile to Dara once Minzy’s sob was getting silent. “The best is about to come, noona. God is saving the best, only for my Dara noona. We love you…”

 

“YAAHHHH!!!! Tell me what is this all about??!!!! Or I swear I will explode in anger now if any of you won’t tell me!!! Tell me what the is going on here?!?!??!!!! Why everybody is here?!?!?!!! Where’s my CL-Rooo and Seungri??!!! Are they inside on that cage??? Holy crap… It better be not!!!” Dara screamed out loud to Jiyong, Daesung, Top, Bommie and Minzy while she was shedding the tears.

 

“Why everyone is like this to me? Why are you all saying goodbye to me? Oh nooo… Please don’t tell me that Sajangnim is planning to ban 2NE1!!!! I will march to his office now!! Ah ani! I will march down to his house!!! I will beg him for us!!!!!” Dara was getting hysterical and panic with herself!

 

Unexpectedly Jiyong clapped his hands twice and that shuts Dara’s mouth like an obedient pet. She was wandering, ‘What will happen after Jiyong clapped his hands? Everything he did always come to a surprise.’

 

And yes she was right… Seconds later CL, Seungri, Hi-Tech dancers and Crazy dancers were coming and placed themselves in the middle of Dara and Jiyong. Hitech and Seungri went to the left, Crazy and CL went to the right. They blew some candles from the jar and made the light around the area getting softer and darker. There’s only 1 candle left in the jar which is still lighting.

 

Everything is about to begin… They were all focusing their eyes onto Jiyong and not even looking at Dara. They waited for him to give them the final signal to start everything. Dara knew these dancers, CL and Seungri were covering something on their back!

 

“Cl-Rooo, Seungri, what are you hiding on your back? Show it to me!”

 

Dara was being ignored. Again. Jiyong examined his surround. Once he was sure everything was set perfectly, he took one small step forward and Youngbae started the first line music. Dara’s heart was doing somersault when the melody started to kick into the intro! The boys and the girls were all here! But why nobody tell her about tonight? Why Jiyong is breaking up with her then now everyone is gathering here?!

 

‘… There must be something! Are they pulling a prank on me??!!!! HELL NOOO!!! This is too embarrassing! Where’s the hidden camera??!!! GRRRR!! I will break it before they could enjoy their winning! I swear this stupid video won’t be releasing!!!’

 

“Sandara Park…” Jiyong called up her name fully.

 

“Huh? Are you calling me? You didn’t call me baby girl anymore??” The girl stopped herself from searching the hidden camera and focused her eyes onto the man who called her.

 

“Could you please stop looking around with that stupid face and stop asking me that stupid questions? I swear you are going to ruin the perfect moment…” Jiyong sighed in deep stress. This was absolutely such a pain in the ! He did some inhale and exhale to compose himself from running onto the girl and dragged her back to his dorm and strapped her on his bed!

 

“Tonight you are about to see a private concert, perform by Kwon Jiyong. Only for Sandara Park.” Jiyong steadied his body and stood straight.

 

The smirk that once painted on his lips was changing into a soft smile. His eyes were gazing tenderly to hers. Youngbae played the piano again and Jiyong started to sing in front of Dara with his softest voice. That’s the cue for CL, Seungri, Hi-Tech dancers and Crazy dancers to show out their glow in the dark butterflies which were hidden behind their back. They were dancing around Dara and Jiyong slowly while playing and moving their glow in the dark butterflies. The plastic butterflies seem like turning into real butterflies. Flying here and there, playing along with Jiyong’s voice.

As the song was ended, Hitech and Seungri were back onto their first position on Jiyong’s left. CL was leading Crazy to Jiyong’s right. Nobody blocked Jiyong from fixing his eyes onto Dara. His boyish smile was all back into his lips and he bowed 90 degrees to Dara.

 

“Thank you for staying here and listening to my song.”

 

Dara can’t say anything. Not even making a small sound. Her voice was long gone since Jiyong started to sing… She just covered with both of her trembling hands. Everything was too beautiful. So perfect… Is it her birthday? Or their anniversary? Suddenly something broke her wandering mind and focused back to the man in front of her.

 

Daesung and Minzy along with Bommie and Top threw the black fabric away from the cage and opened the small cage door.

 

 

 

 

Hundreds of white and light yellow butterflies and fireflies were set free from the cage. They were all flying freely… here and there… Some of them were flying around Dara, some of them were resting of Jiyong’s body and some of the butterflies were playing around them. Tears were flowing as she saw how beautiful he was surrounded by the flying butterflies and fireflies… She felt that he was a prince from the far far away kingdom has come for her… She was touched by him deeply…

And that thought has leaded me into this break up… The reason I’m breaking up to you is because I’m bored with you. I’m bored with you as my girlfriend. I don’t want you to be my girlfriend anymore… I don’t want to wear your ring anymore. We are going to need a new one.“ As he cleared out her puzzling and confused mind from stupid questions, he carefully walked forward to her.

 

When he has arrived in front of her, he stood still. Observing her face… From her hair, down to her forehead, her eye brows, her eyes, her nose, her lips and her jaw. Every single line and of her face. The face that makes him falling in love since the first time his eyes accidently meet hers. A petite little girl with unique voice and cheerful smile. A hello that he swears to God he will faint if Youngbae wasn’t there to hold on his body. He gulped down because he has been looking at her too long lost in his mind. He knew he can’t take any steps forward. He has reached his final destination. Final step that lead him to this very end… He brought one of his knees down kissing the cold grass as his right hand delicately made a contact with her left small hand. He has prepared a black velvet box on his left opened palm. There’s a single ring standing alone but proudly with all it’s sparks and the big diamond.

 

 

 

 

“Tonight… With all my brothers, my sisters and my family here as the witness… I will end our relationship and left our story behind because we will start a fresh and new eternal relationship. I want to propose you, Sandara Park. To be my fiancé.”

 

Dara gasped loudly after hearing his declaration to her. And she didn’t say her answer because she was astonished by this. All of this… The place… The atmosphere… The candles… The lights… The girls… The boys… The music… The butterflies and fireflies… And specially him… The man… The one and only Kwon Jiyong. Only him, could do this to her… Only this man who is down on his knee could make her feel like a princess. This is the best fairy tale among all princesses.

 

“Pabo… You pabo boyfriend… I almost die… My heart nearly stops beating… because you are breaking up… with me… How could I live without you… Pabo… My pabo Kwon Jiyong… Could you just propose me with a normal way without having me almost dying?” She cursed, cursed and cursed on him while shading her tears away from her face. Her tears couldn’t be stopped… Her feeling was mixed… But most of all were happiness.

 

“Sshhh… Stop crying, baby girl… I know I’m so damn brilliant on planning this perfectly and I’m so damn handsome tonight, but you don’t have to cry and make yourself look more alluring with tears on your eyes. And why should I go normal if I can be special on proposing you? You know from the start that I’m not normal…” He let out a chuckled after he comforted her cries. He stood up and wiped all her tears gently with his thumb.

 

Once her cried was subsided and she was fine, he held her fingers tightly. “My heart wants to say something to you… Please knock on my chest and listen to it.”
