The Promise
“Seriously, what are you eating? You weigh like a feather.” Yonghwa blurted while Shinhye got his back.
“Stop teasing me stranger.” Shinhye sighed.
“Hey clumsy, where is the clinic? I’m new here.” Yonghwa asked.
“Oh, I don’t know too. It’s my first time here also.”
Yonghwa asked the janitor passed by them. The janitor went with them in the clinic.
“Thank you Ajusshi, and there’s blood stain in the quadrangle. I’m sorry for inconvenience.” Shinhye said.
Yonghwa smirked. What a weird clumsy girl.
The nurse came over and check Shinhye’s knee.
“You look pale student. Do you feel sick?”
“I’m okay, I usually look like this. But my knee hurts so badly.”
Yonghwa in.
“I think she lost a lot of blood.”
Shinhye glanced at Yonghwa.
“Thank you for getting me on here.”
“It’s nothing. I think I must be the one thanking you because you made my first day a not so boring day.”
“Aren’t you late for your class?” The nurse asked Yonghwa.
“I’m kind of late. Should I excuse myself?” Yonghwa bowed then leave the clinic.
Shinhye didn’t even know the name of the guy who helped her.
Yonghwa is finding his classroom. When he stepped on his room, the teacher is having an attendance.
“I’m sorry I’m late.” Yonghwa said.
“What’s your name freshie?” Teacher Lee asked.
“Jung Yonghwa.”
Teacher Lee found the name of him in the list.
“Can you explain to me why you are late today?”
“Some clumsy girl hurt her knees while I’m on my way here Teacher.” Yonghwa said the truth but he knows that maybe the Teacher will never believe him.
Teacher Lee sighed. What an old excuse.
“Okay, I’ll let you off today. But make sure you’ll be on time. Get on your sit.”
