Last day of their freshman year, their class are having a little party.

“Class, look! In just two years you will graduate in high school. Time is really fast.” Teacher Lee said with a lively tone.

Shinhye is busy organizing some presents. Their class will exchange some gifts later as a sign of friendship. Yonghwa haven’t arrived yet. Shinhye asked him if he will go to the party yesterday but he didn’t reply seriously.

“Jungshin ah! Where is your Smiley?”

“I don’t know Shin. Maybe he’s not coming on our last day in first year.”

“He’s dead if he’ll not come here today.” Shinhye threated Yonghwa.

“Calm down Shin. Why are you so giddy if Yong is coming or not? You know him. He’s not into this party thingy.”

“Just help me with this presents.” Shinhye divert their conversation.

At the hospital, Doctor Minhyuk is discussing the results of Shinhye’s latest monthly check up.

“As you can see here Mrs Park, she lost a lot of weight. We can Shinhye having a stronger, positive outlook but her body was having pains. Even if she don’t tell us, I know she is having a hard time at this rate. And even she take serious medications, I can’t assure if it has a better effect on her body.”

“If I can persuade Shinhye not to attend next year in high school, what are the plans?”

“I will examine her body her in the hospital.”

“What do you mean? She’ll gonna live here? I’m speechless, I can’t do it to my daughter.”

“It’s the only way to prevent the disease killing her body and life.”

“How many years it will take? Two? Three? Four years? She’ll die from loneliness here.”

“Her disease don’t have a stand medication at this time, maybe on the next years will have it.”

Mrs Park cupped her face. If only her tears will make Shinhye better, she’ll cry a river. Her daughter is suffering so much pain.

“I’m gonna talk to Shinnie about this. Whatever her decision, I will sincerely accept it.”

Shinhye was carrying lots of presents, she forgot that she must do hard things like that. Jungshin was carrying the gifts too when Shinhye’s body collapse a bit.

“Shinhye ah! Are you all right??” Jungshin blurted.

Shinhye fell but still conscious. She felt her chest is hurting, but she didn’t made it too obvious.

“I’m all right Jungshin. Go placed those gifts on the next table.”

“Okay, be careful Shinhye.”

At that time Yonghwa arrived, he saw Shinhye holding her chest. He rushed to her.

“Clumsy, are you alright? Are you hurt???” He looked so worried.

“My chest.. it hurts.”
