Step Two: Jungshin will drop the bomb that Jaejin is close to Seohyun

On the way to the SNSD dorms Hongki asked, "Sooyoung do you think it would be better if more girls would help with our project?" Sooyoung thought hard and concluded, "I think it would be better if only Yoona and I are the only ones involved. Involving more girls would increase the possibility of being found out.

"What Sooyoung said is true." Yoona added. "It's not that the others can't keep secrets but Seohyun is one smart girl. Someone might accidentally blurt out something and to tell you honestly they're not that good at acting, they won't be able to fool Seohyun and we will be found out." 

"I guess you're right. Yuri noona will get mad at us."

"Don't worry about her Jinnie. Once we explain it to her she would just understand us." Sooyoung assured Jaejin.

The next day, Jaejin went to CN Blue's dorm quite earlier than planned. He's fidgety and can't quited contain his excitement. He was smiling all the way to the dorms but as soon as he reached the dorms he lost his smile.

"Jaejin-ah we have a problem." Said Jungshin.

"Hyung left home an hour ago. They had additional filming will last until tomorrow. They were running late with their schedules and needed additional time to caught up with filming." Jonghyun said

"But hyung we can't wait until tomorrow to do this. SNSD will be leaving for Japan again. Joohyun will not call me if she's in Japan. What can we do now? Have you called Hongki hyung?" Jaejin was panicking. Time is of the essence. They need to do this today or else they will have to postpone until SNSD comes back to Korea and they don't know when that will be.

"Hyung!" Jungshin called out. "It's Hongki hyung on the phone."

"Put him on loudspeaker then" ordered Jonghyun. As soon as Jungshin put the phone into loudspeaker Jonghyun said, "Hongkiya we have a problem. Hyung is not here. He had emergency filming today and won't be coming back until tomorrow."

"What? But SNSD will be leaving tomorrow. We need to do this now."

"We know that hyung." said Jaejin. "What should we do now? Sooyoung noona has been texting me for the past 15 minutes asking if Joohyun should call now."

"This is what we will do. My schedule will end by lunchtime hopefully. Get ready yourselves by then. We will go to their filming site and we will visit Shinhye. Jonghyun, do you know how to cook kimchi pancake?"

"Not really. Why suddenly ask that?" Jonghyun was really confused with Hongki's question.

"Jaejin remember when Shinhye gave us kimchi pancake? I remember telling her that I will also give her kimchi pancake when she's filming her new drama. I guess this is the time I repay her kindness. But since I still have schedule you guys should do it."

"But Hongkiya, I don't know how to make that. Do you guys know how? Jonghyun asked the two younger guys. Much to his disappointment both of them shook their heads. "Now what are we going to do now?"

"I really don't know but please make a way to make it before lunchtime. Sorry guys but I really have to go. We're about to start. Good luck." With that Hongki hung up on them. The three were left speechless then Jaejin had a great idea. He took out his phone and called somebody. When the other line is ringing he put it in loudspeaker.

"Yah Wang Sa Baek! What's the big idea? Why are you not answering my texts?" It was Sooyoung who was on the other line.

"Noona there's a bit complication but we're working on it right now. We just need to postpone our plan until after lunch. Just please wait for my text." Jaejin said trying too soothe the angry Sooyoung. "But noona I need to ask you something. Do you by any chance know how to make kimchi pancakes?"

"What? Are you pregnant and you're craving for kimchi pancakes?"

"Noona please just answer the question."

"I don't. Wait I'll ask the others."

The boys heard her shout "Yah! Anyone knows how to cook kimchi pancakes? No one? Really?"

"I once tried to make it." It was Seohyun. The boys looked at each other remembering that Seohyun and Yonghwa attempted to cook kimchi pancake with Ueno Juri. Then they heard Sooyoung again, "here, take this call. It's Jaejin and he's asking how to make it."

"Yoboseyo? Jinnie is it really you?" Asked Seohyun on the other line.

"Joohyun! Please tell me you know how to make kimchi pancakes." Jaejin pleaded. 

"Is it a matter of life and death? Can't you just go online and look for it."

"I don't want to. I think your pancakes will be more appropriate for the occassion." Jaejin realized that if Seohyun is the one who taught him how to make the pancakes he would have reasons to talk to her later that afternoon.

"What are talking about?"

"Just please help me. Oh I remember you made kimchi pancakes with hyung and Ueno-ssi."

"OK fine, take note of the ingredients and instructions. Don't blame me if the pancakes will turn out bad."

"Joohyun, you're a godsend."

Seohyun told Jaejin the ingredients that she used in WGM. After that Jaejin told her that he will call again after he bought the ingredients and hang up on her. The three boys went out and bought the ingredients as fast as they can. Upon returning home, Jaejin again called Seohyun and step by step Seohyun gave the instructions to Jaejin. When they finished cooking one pancake the boys decided to taste it. They were surprised for it did taste good. No wonder Ueno Juri ate it. It was almost lunchtime when they finished cooking. They prepared everything and right after they packed Jonghyun's phone rang.

"Hello?"

"Yah Jonghyun! Are you guys ready? I'll be there in 30 minutes. I'll see you downstairs."  Hongki hang up leaving Jonghyun speechless. "Jungshin get ready we're going to hyungs filming. All of us will go there."

 On the way to the filming site Hongki assigned their roles on that day. "Jungshin, it's you time to shine. Do your best making hyung jealous. Exagerrate of you need to. Just don't be too obvious. Jonghyun, you will observe hyung's reactions. Jaejin, be sweet to your phone pal. I on the other hand will talk to Shinhye to make everything look natural."

"When the boys arrived at the filming site, they found Yonghwa chatting with Minhyuk and Shinhye. Hongki silently walked toward Shinhye and covered her eyes."

"Yah! Who's this?" Cried out Shinhye. You're going to mess up my make up."

"Aish this girl" Hongki said taking his hands off her eyes, "such a whining brat."

"Hongkiya! I missed you. Why are you here?" Then Shinhye realized that Hongki was not alone. He was with Jonghyun, Jaejin and Jungshin. She bowed to them and grabbed Hongki's arm. She suddenly stood up and bowed. Yonghwa too stood up and introduced his dongsaengs.

"Shinhye, this is Jonghyun and Jungshin. I think this is the first time you guys meet. Now you know every member of CN Blue."

The boys bowed to Shinhye and Shinhye did the same. She saw Jaejin and smiled at him. "Jaejin-ah, what brings you here? Don't tell me Hongki dragged you here?"

"No he didn't noona. I came here to see you too."

"Yah! What are guys doing here?" Yonghwa said.

"Hyung, I'm not here for you. I'm here to repay Shinhye's kindness."

"You brought my kimchi pancakes?" Beamed Shinhye.

"Of course I did. I promised you I'd bring you some right. But I didn't cook it. I asked these three to cook it for me. I just came from a schedule." Hongki told Shinhye.

"Whatever and whoever cooks it, I will still eat it. It's the thought that counts. Thanks Hongstar." Shinhye squeezed Hongki's arm. Let's try it. I want to eat it.

When Jungshin was preparing the food Jaejin texted Sooyoung. "Make Joohyun call me in 30 minutes."

"Got it. Good luck you guys." Replied Sooyoung.

Jonghyun was observing Yonghwa as soon as Jungshin opened the container that contains the pancakes. Yonghwa picked up one and inspected it. "This pancakes looks very familiar."

"Really?" Asked Shinhye then she too took one and ate it. "It tastes different but it's good. Who cooked this?"

"I did noona with the help of a very special someone." Said Jaejin.

"I didn't know you can cook."

Jaejin smiled at Shinhye and said, "Well I have a very good teacher."

"Yah Jaejin-ah, seems to like someone." Much to everyone's surprise it was Yonghwa who said this. Then he took a bite of the pancake. When he had tasted it, he showed a confused look, he again took a bite to really see if his brain is playing with him. "This is really weird. It really tastes the same." He said.

"What tastes the same hyung?" asked Jonghyun.

Then Jaejin's phone rang. He looked at the other Lee's and smiled sweetly as if the one calling him is someone he really really likes. Jungshin got the goosebumps. Jaejin is one good actor. If only he didn't know about the project, he too will be fooled by that smile.

"Hello?... Seo Joohyun!"  Jaejin said Seohyun's complete to make things clearer. Even Seohyun was surprised for she's used to Jaejin calling her just Joohyun.

Everybody was looking at Yonghwa. Yonghwa didn't notice it for he was looking intently at Jaejin. Hongki asked Shinhye if they can talk. The excused themselves and left the group.

"Yes, it was a success. Everyone liked it. Really really thank you. How are you? When are you leaving Korea?" They heard Jaejin sait to Seohyun on the other line, then as if realizing that he's bothering the others he excused himself and left the table but he made sure Yonghwa would hear him say "Joohyun, I missed you! I really do."

They knew that Yonghwa's turning green. He was clenching his teeth so hard that one may think his teeth will fall with the pressure. Then they heard the question they were waiting for, "Is that Hyun who Jaejin is talking to?"

Now it's Junghin's turn to act. "I think so." He said non-chalantly. 

Yonghwa then said, "I didn't know that they knew each other personally."

"Oh but they do hyung. It seems that they are also very very very very very close." Said Jungshin still in the same tone though repeating the word "very" a lot of times. But Yonghwa didn't took this as anything. He was busy staring at Jaejin while he was talking on the phone. He scrutinized every reactions of Jaejin, trying to see if there's something going on between the two. He was so blinded by jealousy that he's not noticing the manner that Jungshin said it or the way Jonghyun was observing him.

"Since when?"

"When did they got close?"

 Yonghwa just nodded. Jungshin almost laughed at Yonghwa's jealousy but Jonghyun glared at him so he decided to continue with his part, "Oh... I think since 2007.

"Why didn't Hyun told me about it?" Yonghwa asked though not directly to Jungshin but Jungshin decided to answer his question.

"Coz they realized that what they share is special and they don't want to media to make a big deal out of it."

"How did they got close?"

Now it was Jonghyun's turn to ask questions.

"But hyung, why all the questions? Are you too interested with Seohyun?"

"What are you talking about? I was just asking 'coz Seohyun didn't even mentioned to me that she knows Jaejin. I'm quite shock."

Just then Jaejin went back to the group but still on the phone. "Yes I know. Don't worry I am taking good care of myself. You too take care, you have one killer schedule. Promise me you will take care of yourself, I don't want to read online that "Seohyun of SNSD fainted because exhaustion. You don't want to me rush to Japan when that happens right?... Ok I'll hang up now. Again thank you for the recipe. Everyone really loved it.... yah...bye..."

Jaejin hang up and acted like talking to Seohyun is the most normal thing in the world. He made sure that Yonghwa would know that he and Seohyun are very comfortable with each other. He made sure that Yonghwa will be threaten. What more if he see's us together personally? He asked himself.

"I never thought that you and Hyun are close." Yonghwa said to Jaejin.

Jaejin saw the envy in Yonghwa's eyes. He suddenly got scared. It was the first time he saw that kind of jealousy. He really tried to act normal afterwards.

"But we are. Joohyun is very special to me. Hyung can I ask you a question? Is it ok if Seohyun and I get together?

"What? What are you asking me? Why are you asking me this?"

"Well I don't know, you were close before, she was your virtual wife." 

"I don't have the answer to your question." Yonghwa was really getting angry. He knows that he has no right to be for he and Seohyun are not together let alone they have not contacted each other for two months now.. He knows that its his fault. But he had long convinced himself that he needs no distractions and Seohyun is one. But why is he feeling so bad. It's as if he wants to strangle Jaejin and tell him to back off for Seohyun is his and his only.

Just then Hongki and Shinhye came back from their walk and the two sensed that something was off. "Is everything alright here?" Asked Hongki.

"Everything is just fine." Yonghwa said. He stood up and looked at his friends, "Please excuse me, I still need to practice my lines. Jonghyun and Junghin take care of the dorm, I'd be back tomorrow morning. Hongki, I need to go." Then he just bowed to Jaejin and left without a word.
