Securing his white coat on his upper body, a stethoscope hanging from his nape; ends of which draping on his shoulders and a brown briefcase clutched tightly through its handle by his right hand, he finally set his right foot into the entrance of SNU hospital with seriousness lacing his lips.

A group of expert health providers immediately went to his side, welcoming him. One among them handed him a bouquet of flowers which he eyed funnily. His friend, who had been standing by his side all along, chuckled at that.

“Wow, nice way to be greeted; princess.” The other just frowned at his friend.

“I’m not a female and my built clearly says that I’m a man.” he countered.

Those near them didn’t really catch what the two were talking about since the language used was really foreign to them; with the exception of the translators, that is.

You see, Chinese isn’t really a common language in South Korea.

“Hello Doctor Hangeng. I’m the Chief Pharmacist here and you can address me as Doctor Lee Soo Man.” The older smiled and after the friend standing by the man now known as Hangeng, translated what the older had said to him, the younger smiled at the pharmacist in return.

“Hello Doctor Lee. I’m his translator, friend and a pharmacist. Doctor Zhoumi is my name.” the tall pharmacist smiled and shook hands with the Chief pharmacist. Though his Korean was filled with Chinese accent, it was still decent enough to understand.

“I’ll be handling the orthopaedic department for this month as per requested by the hospital.” Hangeng smiled as he delivered one sentence he had managed to by heart throughout his journey on plane from Beijing to Seoul.

With a smile, “I’m glad.” Doctor Lee said.

Little did they know, the appearance of the two Chinese was going to change four lives after all.

Sungmin was wiping the bottles he had gotten out of the medication cabinet from the primary room, when Kyuhyun showed up in the preparation room along with a packet of make-up wipes in his left hand.

“Finally!” Sungmin sighed as he eyed the packet still within his preceptor’s grasp.

Kyuhyun approached the intern as he panted and tore off the packet to remove a sheet of wipe from it. “Remove that mask. I’ll wipe the make-up off.” he breathed out as his breath started getting back to normal.

Sungmin’s lips began to form a pout again as he removed his mask when he noticed his preceptor’s eyes focused on his lips. He immediately pursed his lips in fright to be kissed once again. No, he had no problem being kissed by his preceptor but he didn’t want to blush anymore at the moment.

“Shh!” Kyuhyun exclaimed. “Alright, I won’t kiss you right now. You can let go your lips and let me wipe off the lipstick.” he sighed.

The elder was carefully removing the smoky eye make-up to prevent it from forming a black patch on the younger’s eye when another idea struck his normally genius brain.

He cleared his throat with an “Ahem.” and parted his lips. “Sungmin-ah, what do you think of going on a date?” he asked nonchalantly while acting to be immersed in wiping the liner off.

“A date?”

“Hmm.”

“But, didn’t we go on one just two days back?” Sungmin wondered out loud.

Kyuhyun stopped what he was doing and looked into Sungmin’s eyes as he moved his head a little away from Sungmin’s; letting the shorter look at the preceptor’s face without having to crane his neck further. “Do I need to mind that? I mean, we can go on a date every single day as long as we want to, right?” he countered.

With an “O” formed by his lips, Sungmin nodded his head in understanding. “Right.”

“So? Shall we?”

“Umm… when?”

“Tomorrow!” Kyuhyun perked up.

“Tomorrow?” Kyuhyun hastily nodded his head. “But aren’t you busy on weekdays?”

“I can manage! Are you in?!”

“O..kay?” Sungmin smiled.

Kyuhyun’s smile faltered a little as he remembered something else. “But…. I think..it’s going to be a..normal date?”

Sungmin frowned a little at that. He didn’t mind about going anywhere on a date with Kyuhyun but he was wondering what the other meant by that.
