Sungmin had informed Siwon when their supposed date would be which turned out to be on Sunday; right after his and Kyuhyun’s date.

Speaking about his and Kyuhyun’s date, Saturday arrived quiet soon for Sungmin but it felt like a lifetime to Kyuhyun while waiting for its arrival.

He had been ready and out since seven-thirty in the morning and was passing his time until eight-thirty in a café nearby the Shin’s residence in panic and worry. He had been preparing for the date right after he got Sungmin’s consent after the —fortunate, as he says— dinner after he left the Shin’s house that night. No, he couldn’t even wait till the sun rose the next morning, afraid that Sungmin might give second thoughts to their date once again which might turn against him.

Finishing up the last bit of his Americano, he left a little bit of his croissant on the plate, paid for the breakfast he had and left the café with anticipation and nervousness of how the day might turn out to be for him through this nerve-wracking yet much anticipated date.

He drove his expensive car to the destination and parked the car just outside the porch, transmitting the gear at park and hurriedly left the car and approached the doorstep of the cosy and warm house he had come to know by now. With trembling fingers, he finally pressed the bell and waited for a short yet hyper lady to answer the door; the same lady who had now become his angel or godmother in disguise of a human. And as expected, the said lady showed up all excited and keyed up and welcomed him in with all eagerness she could emit off her aura —which was too much, actually.

“Sit on the couch, I’ll bring Sungminnie to you in next to no time!” she exclaimed in exhilaration and ran upstairs towards the blonde’s bedroom.

By the time Nari made her way to Sungmin’s room, Sungmin had just managed to crack an eye open and had been sitting on the bed still half asleep. Nari palmed her forehead and rushed to the half asleep blonde.

“Sungminnie! Kyuhyunnie has come to pick you already! I’ve been trying to wake you up since past one hour now. Wake up, wake up!” she panicked as she tried to get him off the bed.

“Nari umma~ I’m sleepy~” Sungmin said in a groggy with sleep voice and yawned. Wow, a totally contradicting behaviour compared to the agitated male seated on one of the couches downstairs. He had actually forgotten about the date, to be honest.

“Sungminnie, you have a date!” Nari reminded him.

By this time Sungmin’s both eyes were closed and listening to this, he managed to crack one of his eyes open once again with, “Huh?” He was still registering his surroundings which were not clear due to his sleepy state.

“It’s Saturday! You have a date with Kyuhyun and he is waiting for you downstairs! Now get off that cursed bed and go to the bathroom!” when Nari’s panicked voice and words finally registered down in his brain, that’s when his eyes turned in the size of two saucers and he jumped off and tumbled down the bed, realizing that he indeed had a date with his preceptor, of all people.

His plaster was all gone by now for his leg had healed completely.

“I’m late! I had to go out with him by nine!” saying this, he dashed his way to the bathroom from across his room along with all his necessary toiletries, his pink towel and all that he could grab in his small yet clumsy hands and arms.

Kyuhyun heard the commotion going on upstairs and couldn’t help but chuckle at the cuteness of his cute intern. He saw how Sungmin dashed towards the washroom upstairs across his room while trying his best to carry the things in his hands without tumbling on his way. The nervousness in Sungmin’s body language was able to calm Kyuhyun a little. Seeing that he was not the only one who was nervous by the whole ‘date’ thing but so was Sungmin, made him feel oddly comfortable at heart. It made him feel that Sungmin did have a few feelings for him that he could try to grow as time goes by.

By the time Sungmin finally made his way downstairs all fresh and ready but with nervousness evident in his eyes and trembling fingers that were playing with each other, Kyuhyun had successfully made himself get off the couch and approach the blonde with equal tenseness; bringing his right hand forward to embrace the shorter boy’s soft left hand into it.

Sungmin timidly gave his trembling hands to Kyuhyun to hold and the two finally left the house with the background music of Nari’s squeals playing behind them along with the words, “Make out in front of homophobes and get me the recording of the spicy romance!”

Sometimes I wonder why she is a straight woman herself…

The weather had begun to get cooler as the days had been going by and right this very moment, Kyuhyun’s expensive car hadn’t need to make use of the air conditioning system equipped in it.

Or was it that God was on his side today? After all, his date wasn’t going to be indoors where people could cool off their temperature with the help of air conditioning.

Sungmin was fidgeting in his seat beside Kyuhyun where the latter was currently concentrating on the road he was driving his car on. They were currently on highway and since it was a weekend morning, the highway wasn’t hoarded with crazy traffic. The former had asked the latter where the latter was taking him when they first settled in the car but Kyuhyun had just told him, “I just hope you’ll like there.” and nothing else.

To say that the shorter male was nervous was beyond being called an understatement. You could say that the nervousness and the anticipation were killing Sungmin.

Why am I using the words ‘Nervousness’ and ‘Anticipation’ a lot today? Oh right, the situation calls for it and no other words fit in.

After driving for some while, Sungmin felt the car come to a halt as Kyuhyun killed the engine by turning the key off and removing it after transmitting the gear to park soon after parking the vehicle messily on sand a few miles away from the docks.

His eyes followed Kyuhyun as the latter exited his side of the car and shut the door rounding the machine from the front and opening the door of the seat Sungmin had been seated on throughout the whole thirty minute drive.

A faint scent of the ocean hit the shorter boy’s nostrils and he felt Kyuhyun guiding him out of the car, securing the car lock by clicking on the key he was holding.

Kyuhyun escorted Sungmin towards a white cabin where a man clad in casual loose knee-length flowery trunks and loose white t-shirt was standing, most probably waiting for Kyuhyun to have a few exchange of words with.

Kyuhyun went and shook hands with the stranger —to Sungmin, that is— and the stranger let out a smile upon seeing Sungmin and Kyuhyun’s interlaced hands.

“Is it ready?” Kyuhyun asked the stranger to which the stranger amicably nodded and asked the two to follow him towards the shore where the sight of a beautiful white yacht welcomed Sungmin.

He looked at Kyuhyun with curious eyes and Kyuhyun looked back at him right at that very moment and gave out a nervous smile. Sungmin noticed that the other was more nervous than Sungmin himself was.

“I hope you like it.” Kyuhyun whispered the same answer just so that Sungmin could hear him.

“The helmsman is going to take you to the place. Have a nice view of the ocean.” The stranger said and motioned Kyuhyun and Sungmin to go ahead and aboard the yacht.
