“I thought, I’d lose you.” Doctor Kyuhyun’s whisper rang in my left ear and I don’t know what came over me but I found my eyelids close unconsciously, my heart anticipating the kiss that he was now bound to give me.

Kiss me?

That’s when I realized I was anticipating to be kissed by a male. And I opened my eyelids abruptly at the realization. But… I could already feel his warm breath on my face.

He kissed me.

And I found myself frozen once again.

Thump…

Thump….

Thump…..

My heart is acting weird once again.

I didn’t move nor did I push him. I couldn’t move nor could I push him…

Yes, my heart beat was frantic. But it felt right. This was not what I felt when he first stole my first kiss back then.

For the first time in the whole span that he’s been around me, I actually felt his lips.

They were soft against mine.

They were gentle against mine.

They were tender against mine.

And strangely, they were pleasant against mine.

I found myself wanting to kiss him back but…

“I’m sorry. I kissed you without your consent.” He left my lips and distanced his face from mine. I could see him blush and I’m sure my face wasn’t any different.

“It is okay.” I quickly clasped my mouth with my hands and that’s when I remembered I had plasters in my arms because my attempt to cover my open mouth had caused a jolting pain in my elbows and wrists. And it goes without saying that I did screech in pain.

However, the widening of his eyes didn’t go unnoticed by me despite that, upon my answer.

“Be careful!” he panicked and shortened the gap between our bodies once again as he inspected both my arms carefully after removing my hands away from my mouth. “They have not healed yet!” and strangely, I felt my heart thudding even more at seeing his concern over me.

Has he always been this concerned about my wellbeing?

He gently placed my arms back on my sides and inspected my face, looking directly into my eyes after. “Why did you not push me back when I kissed you?” he whispered as he looked into my eyes, alternating from left to right. “Silly me, you obviously have injured arms. You wouldn’t be able to.” He lightly chuckled but then I could notice his facial expression turning sad. “I’m sorry. I just couldn’t help myself. I’m really sorr—”

“I liked it.” I cut him. Maybe, I should be honest.

“You… you liked it?” his voice sounded nervous. Am I hearing it right? Doctor Kyuhyun apologized and is now nervous. The Doctor Kyuhyun I knew since past two months was nothing like this.

I felt the temperature rising in my cheeks. “Y-yes.”

“Then… why didn’t you kiss me back?” his face was inching closer to mine once again.

“Because…” I gulped in a bulk of saliva that was forming in my mouth due to nervousness. “Because… I don’t know how to.”

“Then…. let me teach you.” His whisper was so soft that I barely heard what he said. And he closed the distance between our lips completely, causing my eyes to shut once again.

Saying that I was nervous would be an understatement. My anxiousness goes beyond that.

After all, I could finally feel his tempting lips with his consent…

The jolt of electricity passing through his lips to mine and then to my whole body is simply unexplainable. I still can’t believe that I am finally feeling those heavenly lips of his on mine once again.

He didn’t respond to my kiss earlier and when he said that he doesn’t know how to, my lips just acted on their own. And this time, I didn’t want to stop them from acting on what my heart wanted them to.

I gently pressed my lips to his, feeling the softness of those folds once again. I didn’t care that with the rate my heart is beating; I’ll soon have a heart attack without a doubt. This moment is too precious for me to care about the health of my heart anymore.

I started moving my lips against his, gentle in the beginning. I caught his upper lip between my lips and placed my lower lip between his lips in the process. on that soft flesh that was in between mine, I went for his lower lip and captured it between my lips, allowing my upper lip to be in between his lips now.
