Sungmin’s POV

Siwon’s eyes were pleading to me when he asked me to cuddle with him and lull him to sleep. And it’s normal between guys anyways. It would have been a different case if it were Doctor Kyuhyun instead of Siwon-ah asking me to cuddle with him.

Wait… Why am I thinking about Doctor Kyuhyun right now?

Back to the point, I agreed to Siwon-ah’s request because he is a very good friend of mine after all and he had already clearly said to me that he had no weird feelings for me whatsoever. It would have been uncomfortable to cuddle with him if it were Doctor Kyuhyun instead of Siwon-ah.

Wait… Sungmin! Stop thinking about Doctor Kyuhyun! Stop remembering his comfortable hug in that swing chair!

Seriously, that morning is still so fresh in my mind. I’ve been haunted by it every night. I just can’t get his comfortable and tender hug out of my mind after I woke up snuggling next to him that morning. And it was so embarrassing to fall on his lap after I hit this stupid head of mine with that swing chair’s small roof!

“This is my room, Sungmin-ah.” Siwon’s soft voice brought me out of my embarrassing thoughts…memories and that’s when I realized I had followed Siwon to his room unconsciously amidst all that thinking my brain was doing.

His room was really clean and neatly arranged. There were trophies of different kinds neatly placed on a light brown, wooden shelf along with many medals which were mainly gold. Impressive.

His room had a very calming scent flowing and the lights were dimmed to give it a soothing effect despite it being around five in the evening. But those lights were bright enough to give me a good view of the surroundings and the room overall.

I felt Siwon tugging my right wrist that he was holding since long and he gently brought me to his king-sized bed that had been draped with plain white coverings and the pillows had the same coverings matching to the bed.

“My head is really aching. Can we just cuddle and sleep?” he softly asked, successfully gaining my attention from his bed.

If only Donghae wasn’t a kicker and didn't have a bear like strength while cuddling in his sleep, we could have had a spacious bed like this for ourselves too…

Oh, who am I kidding? There can never be ‘if only’ when Donghae is the subject of the talk.

Looking at Siwon’s failed aegyo —which was his pitiful pout— I smiled at him and got on the inviting bed. The training had tired me out as well and since I had been dead worried about Siwon, it just acted as the cherry on top to my worries and tiredness. So the thought of getting some decent sleep was very inviting to me at the moment.

Not later than I settled myself on the left side of the bed, Siwon followed suit and removed his white wifebeater and revealed his upper body.

Yes, it is normal amongst guys to roam in front of each other but that kind of disturbed me for I was kind of conscious about my own body considering that I was kind of fat though I didn’t really have a protruding belly. Yes, I don’t have abs… So along the years of being kind of conservative in this area, the bold move Siwon made caused me to blush and move my face away from the view.

“Siwon-ah, can you please put that back on?” I’m glad I didn’t stutter. Wait…there is no need to stutter.

“Why? Are you blushing because you’re shy?” there was a hint of amusement and teasing in his voice but I’m not really sure for I was still not looking at him. I was giving my attention to the Lilac wallpaper in the wide corner of his large room.

“My face is red due to embarrassment.” I clarified. I heard a slight groan and Siwon’s voice spoke up once again with,

“You can look back at me. I’m wearing the wifebeater.” When I looked back at him, I could see the look of disappointment on his face. Maybe he was feeling extremely hot due to the weather. “Can we cuddle now?” he added with a pitiful look yet again and I smiled back at him again and laid myself in a semi-foetal position on my right, facing Siwon who had rested his whole body on the bed in the log position on his left while facing me.

“Sleep well and recover soon.” I smiled at him and turned to my left and got back to my foetal position, now facing the door to his room.

I was so tired and the calm, pregnant silence in the room was effective in lulling me to sleep. And hence all I could register in my tired and worn out mind was being pulled back into Siwon’s warm body; being engulfed into a tight hug by his arms and being trapped in between his broad chest and huge and muscular arms.

This is normal amongst male friends Sungmin. Now sleep….

And I drifted off to my tiny dreamland where I was hoping to meet my umma yet again.

The soft snoozing of my cell phone from the nightstand beside the bed on my side pulled me out of my sleep. I wasn’t in deep sleep so it was easier for me to wake up. I don’t really sleep on afternoons but since I was tired, I took a small snap nevertheless. But it wasn’t deep enough to have a dream; which meant it wasn’t deep enough to keep me sleeping for long.

I woke up slowly, trying my best to get out of Siwon’s tight embrace and scooted a little towards the nightstand where my phone was buzzing since it was on vibration. I picked my phone and looked back at Siwon, who had an unconscious frown lacing his forehead as his hands roamed on the empty space I left behind. I picked the pillow I had used and carefully placed it under his right hand which was roaming the space. His frown soon dissipated as he tightened his hold around the pillow with a soft smile.

"When are you and Hae coming back? It's already past six in the evening." Nari-ssi’s voice resounded from within the phone that was pressed tightly against my left ear. I glanced at my wrist watch and sighed. It was time I leave after all.

“We’ll leave Siwon-ah’s place now. Don’t worry. We’ll arrive shortly.” I whispered since I didn’t want to ruin Siwon’s sweet sleep. The poor guy had a headache after all.

To be honest, it felt like she didn’t like the idea of me being at Siwon-ah’s place and she was quite reluctant when I had informed her about me wanting to visit him after the end of the day in the hospital. But she let me nevertheless after she had a private talk with Donghae —he had gone far in a corner and talked to her, not letting me hear what he was talking to her all the while.

I’m used to their weirdness now. No complaints.

After I disconnected my call with her, I carefully got off the bed and picked my pink bag from the nightstand, turned back to look at Siwon, slowly opened the door and carefully shut it behind me after exiting the room to prevent any noise that could wake both him and Heechul hyung up— I could imagine how exhausted Heechul hyung might have been for sleeping like that on that purple couch, with sprawled legs one of which was dangling off the couch as his neck was positioned on the armrest uncomfortably. And it wouldn’t be wrong if I say I knew he was exhausted because of handling that boy who is always high on sugar; Donghae.

Donghae was sitting on the floor near the coffee table across the couch Heechul hyung was sleeping on and was scribbling something on one of the many papers that were sprawled on the floor.
