Chapter 2
The one I lost my first kiss to...Sungmin’s POV
“This will be your station and you’ll be training in the inpatient pharmacy this month.” The chief pharmacist smiled gently at me. “And he, will be your preceptor-in-charge.” he gestured to a male pharmacist, introducing me to my now in-charge and the work I was supposed to do for my very first month as an intern at SNU hospital.
This is so exciting.
And surprisingly, my preceptor-in-charge is a very young man.
“Hello. Welcome to SNU Hospital.” he welcomed me very professionally. “My name is Cho Kyuhyun and you can address me as Doctor Kyuhyun.” He said with a very faint smile. His smile was so faint that I barely noticed it.
He brought his right hand forward for a shake and my right hand met his. “Sungmin. My name is Lee Sungmin, doctor.” I perked up.
Giving my usual wide smile, I skipped off to the different cabinets containing more than a hundred types of medications and drugs I had ever come across to. This place is huge compared to any community pharmacy I had or have ever been to.
“Please get serious, intern Sungmin.” a serious voice disrupted me of my thoughts and I turned around. It was my preceptor, and he wore an extremely serious expression on his face all of a sudden. Wasn’t he smiling just a while ago? Weird... Anyways, let’s get to work!
Kyuhyun’s POV
“Eomonie, let’s not create a scene here. Please.” I glowered at my mother faintly.
“We have to talk about this when you get home. I can’t accept this. I will not accept this.” she bitterly spat in a low voice but managed to keep her composure. I was sending off my mother, who had come to confront me about my newly revealed ual preference, early in the morning. The heated discussion between my parents and I that started last evening is nowhere near being cooled down.
My mood was… is bad. Very bad.
But I refrained myself from throwing any sort of rage or fury at her. Not in public at least; although she had successfully managed to turn heads around and get us a small audience due to all the drama she created during the short conversation; if that’s how you’d like to term it; we had. And she finally left while the anger that got built up within me was no way extinguished, that is… until I saw him. All the anger and frustration left my mind and body as I noticed a young boy skipping to the hospital with a wide toothy smile prettily exhibited on his m-shaped pink lips.
He was clad in pink, literally. The only different colour he sported was the white lab coat that was hanging off his left arm as he skipped his way to the main gate of the hospital
