The one I lost my first kiss to...
He was sitting on the wide cream-colored couch in his living room and was munching on the big digestive biscuit he had bought for his diet. But he consumed them more than a person on a diet should. What can we say, he gave up on his diet the moment he saw the tempting lollipops while buying the diet products.
Watching the kiss scene of the drama he was currently addicted to, the only thing he thought of was,
I’d never loose my first kiss to just some ‘anybody’. I’ll have my first unforgettable kiss with someone I’ll fall in love with.
“Sungmin-ah, stop watching the re-runs of that drama and prepare for your first day as an intern tomorrow. Do you not want to be presentable and professional looking when you deal with the possible patients?” his mom’s soft voice interrupted him of his thoughts as she passed by the living room with a heap of dirty clothes in a basket; proceeding to the laundry room.
“Don’t worry umma. I’m more excited about it than you are. Everything is ready. I just need to have my dinner and sleep and I’ll be all ready for the big day tomorrow.” he excitedly replied back; not taking his eyes away from the TV screen as the drama ended and the credits started to roll, waiting for the precap to get over. The current drama had gotten him hooked so bad that he didn't want to miss the precap of the upcoming episode although he had been able to watch it the first time itself. He got off the couch and turned off the television and followed his mom to the laundry room. “While you’re at it, I have a few of my undies that are to be rewashed. I kind of dirtied them by dropping them in the washroom.” He laughed at his own clumsiness. A soft nod and a hum from his mom was a signal enough to get the undies from his room.
“That was delicious, umma. I’ll go and prepare to go to bed now. Good night.” He happily skipped off to his room after kissing his mom’s left cheek. His mom just smiled as she watched her son’s skipping form and a silent ‘Thank you, God’ escaped her lips.
