Kevin's POV- Night of Norae's Audition.

After she finished her performance I happily headed backstage to congratulate her on her success. I saw her talking to a guy as she came off stage who handed her a bouqet of roses. 'Who is he? Norae doesn't have a brother or any cousins that I know of.' I saw him place a hand on her cheek lovingly and her smile was bigger than I had ever seen when she was with me.

My question was answered when he leaned in for a kiss. 'How could she do this to me? Was I not enough? I know I loved her as a friend and not a girlfriend after realizing how much I like Hana, but it still hurts.' I pretty much tossed the flowers I brought her and left with as much composure as I could before I started sobbing outside. 

I didn't care who saw me, or what people thought of the man making a comotion. How could you be calm when you had been betrayed by a friend? I just kept walking and walking for probably close to an hour until I had composed myself. The busses had stopped by that point, so I caught a cab back to the dorm. 

When I came in the guys bombarded me with questions.

"How was Norae's performance?"

"Did she love the flowers?"

"How did she look?"

"Were any companies interested in her?"

"How many people were there?"

"Was she the best artist?"

I waved them off and glumly went to the bathroom to take a long warm shower. I stood with the warm water flowing over me and tears again pouring down my face. After that I went to my room, closed the door, and flopped on the bed.

"Kevin are you all right?" asked Soohyun knocking.

I took a deep breath and lied "I'm fine."

"No, you're not."

"Yes, I AM!" I barked.

"Can I come in?"

"NO" I said throwing a pillow at the door.

"Well, I'm coming in whether you want me to or not."

I glared at Soohyun when he came in. "Leave me alone."

"Nope, not going to. Girl Problems?" he said pulling up a chair by my bed and sitting on it backwards with his chin and arms resting on the back of the chair. 

I shot him an 'if looks could kill look'

"I'm guessing yes....What happened?" ignoring my dirty look.

"Norae....." I started as my eyes filled up with tears again. "She was cheating on me."

"That floozy!" he exclaimed.

"Why me? How could she use me like this? I realize I loved her as a friend and not a girlfriend, but for her to treat me like this....." I broke down sobbing.

"I don't know, but now you know for sure she wasn't the right girl for you. You deserve better -much better!" he said comfortingly.

"I guess, but I feel so stupid. I should have realized something when she always had other plans."

"Well, the truth would have come out eventually anyways. You can't hide a lie forever."

"Yeah, at least I didn't get in trouble for my relationship with her."

"You still hadn't told the company?"

"No, I was too afraid to."

"Then I'm glad this happened now before you got in trouble."

"Me too." I sighed.

"Should we order some pizza?"

"I'm not really hungry."

"You have to be! You didn't eat before you went to her performance right after our schedule for the day. I'm ordering Pizza and I'll stuff it down your throat if I have to."

"Okay, okay. I'll eat pizza so you don't have to choke me with it."

"Good! Pepperoni pizzas coming right up!" he said smiling. 

While he ordered I decided to call Hana. It was mid morning and I figured she'd be at work, since I forgot that it was saturday. 

"Hi Kevin!"

"Hey."

"What's wrong?" she asked with concern.

"Everything."

"What happened?"

"I found out tonight that Norae has been cheating on me for a while."

"Seriously?!" she sounded angry.

"Yeah, remember I had told you about her performance I was going to?"

"Mmmhmmm."

"Well, I went backstage to congratulate her, but a guy was already there giving her flowers and kissed her."

"Sheesh! I want to come over there, slap her, and pull her hair."

"It's okay, I wouldn't want you to come to Korea and get arrested."

"Still! Are you okay?"

"Not really, but I feel a little better after talking with Soohyun and you."

"Awwww I'm glad I could be of assistance."

"Thanks Hana! I guess I had started to realize I didn't love her like a girlfriend anyways, but for her to do that to me was just abominable."

"I wish I could hug you."

"Your voice is like a hug for me."

"Pffft. Now, you're just being cheesy Kevin."

"No I'm not!"

"Yes, you are. You're the biggest cheeseball outside of a cheese factory."

I started laughing my head off. "Where do you come up with stuff like that?"

"I don't know? I just wanted to make you laugh and feel a little better."

"You're the best Hana!" 

"Nah, I'm just average."

"Not to me." 

"Awwww, seriously you are going to kill me with all your cheese."

"Me?! Kill you with cheesiness? I could never." I said in a dramatic voice.

She giggled and I heard someone talking to her in the background. "I need to go now Kevin. Call me if you need anything -okay?"

"Okay. Love you Hana!"

"Love you too!"

"Bye!"

"Bye Bye."

Hana's POV- that saturday.

Matt had knocked and come into my room when I was talking to Kevin.

"Kevin?" he looked at me with a questioning look.

"My friend from Korea." I gave him a duh look.

"Oh." he sounded dissappointed. "I don't want you talking to him anymore."

"Why? He's just a friend."

"I don't think so. You said you loved him." he said crossly.

"Yeah, I love him like a best friend, brother, family member,....."

He held up his hand "I get the picture, but I still don't want you talking to him."

"We'll see. I don't stop you from talking to any of your friends that are girls, so why should I stop talking to my friends that are guys?"

"Because I said so." he said standing, towering over me.

"Stop it Matt. Just go home. I don't want to see you anymore today."

"Why? You'd rather speak to your boyfriend some more?" he said with his hands on my shoulders as I tried to turn away.

"No, let go."

"I'll let go, but you have to spend the rest of the day with me." he said pushing me as he let go of my shoulders causing me to stumble backwards and fall.

"Ouch. Okay." I agreed warily.

"Is everything okay up there?" called my mom.

"Yes, Mrs. Lee. Hana just fell over."

"Is she okay."

He gave me a look and nodded that I should answer "I'm fine mom!" 

"Good! If you need anything I'm in the kitchen" she called back.

Matt turned to me and said "No matter what you do Hana, you're mine. You can't tell anyone about this or else."

I shivered at that last phrase and followed him to go out dutifully. 'How can I get out of this safely? I feel so stuck.'
