Luhan's pov.

"Suyeon!!" "Suyeon!!" "Suyeon!!" everyone from EXO were panicking and ran to her.

I bit my lower lip in worry as well, feeling kind of guilty for her. I put my blank face on before coolly walking there, pretending that I didn’t care at all, but when I saw Myungsoo just shaking her as if she’s dead, I couldn’t keep it in. “You idiot!” I gritted my teeth.

“Me??” he turned to face me and scoffed. "You were the one who kicked the ball!" Myungsoo shouted back.

I hissed. "I meant that you won't help her like that!!" I got on my knees next to the clumsy girl who lost her consciousness. Suyeon started frowning and mumbling something, but I didn’t mind it as I took her arms and dropped them around my neck before standing up, holding her in my arms tightly.

"Yah! Where are you taking her!" I froze when Tao shouted.

Turning around I glared. "Yah?"

He shrunk. "Hyung.."

I rolled my eyes at his try to be cute and just turned around as well, going towards the school with Suyeon still in my arms… Gosh, it’s her first day in school and she’s already making my life worse…

Author's pov.

"One is enough! You all stay here!" The teacher warned EXO and Myungsoo when they tried to leave with Luhan as well.

One of the girls approached EXO. "Where did Lulu oppa go with that girl?" she asked.

"She fainted, so probably to the nurse." Suho said.

"But why did Luhan go with her?! It’s not like she’s going to die or something.." The girl complained, rolling her eyes.

"Dara-shi... We have no time for you.” Kris spoke up. “Luhan told you to back off as well, leave him alone." he sighed.

Dara laughed. "He was just playing around, silly." She ruffled Kris’ hair while standing on her tip toes.

"Get lost, you evil witch!" Tao jumped in front of his hyung and pushed Dara away.

"Childish.." She rolled her eyes and just walked away, following Luhan.

"You will get detention!" Myungsoo shouted after her.

"Do you think that any teacher would dare to do that while knowing my family?" She smirked and just kept on walking.

 

"You did good that you brought her here." The nurse said to Luhan as he sighed. "Was she that heavy?" the woman chuckled.

Luhan shook his head. "No... I'm worried that I might be dead after she wakes up…” he said and while watching how the nurse put the wet towel on Suyeon’s forehead, he added, “I’m the reason why she’s here…”

"Oh.” The nurse chuckled. “Is she your girlfriend?” she asked.

Luhan almost choked on air after the question, but an annoying voice interrupted him. "Of course not! I am!" Dara barged in the room. "I'm Park Dara." She smirked, cutting off the nurse that was about to shout at her. She then turned to Luhan and smiled innocently. “Lulu, why didn't you call me all week?" she pouted and linked arms with him.

“Dara-shi, please get lost.” Luhan groaned and glared when she didn’t let his arm go. "I said... get lost." Luhan stood up with her still on his arm and pushed her out of the room, locking the door. "I can lock the door, right?” he asked.

The nurse nodded, smiling as she took care of Suyeon. "Sure. I don't like that girl." She said. Noticing that Suyeon was about to wake up, she turned to Luhan and asked, “This will be your last class, right?” Luhan nodded. “Very well. I’ll go to the principal and excuse you both from it. You stay here with her.”

“B-but…” Luhan was about to nervously argue, but the nurse quickly left. He sighed as he sat on the chair next to the bed on which Suyeon was sleeping. He could see her brows twitching in irritation and he wondered what she was dreaming about…

Suyeon's dream.

Walking down the street, I felt a strong grip on my arm, and the next thing I know, I’m being pulled towards the dark, scary alley by a bulky man. I was pushed against the wall as he looked down on me.

He his lips and suddenly they were on my neck. Disgusting.

I tried hard to push him away, but he was stronger than me. I could smell the alcohol and I could feel his rough skin on me… I tried pushing him again when he started roaming his hands all over me. I screamed and screamed, but suddenly his large hands landed on my swollen from tears cheek… Ouch.

He the skin on my neck before ripping my shirt apart and gazing at my chest with frightening eyes.

I hit him in the face and tried to ran away, but he caught me and turned me around, lifting my skirt which I don’t remember wearing before he ped his pants.

I screamed and cried, but no one came to save me...

The bulky man suddenly ordered me to shut up and started searching for something in his pocket, and after a moment, I was eye to eyes with a gun. Oh, .

I could feel how my body went numb and I knew that I was going to die...

End of the dream.

“AAH!” Suyeon sat up, panting as she held onto her chest.

With that, Luhan stood up from the chair and with wide eyes approached her. “Su-“

“Get away from me!” she screamed, covering her body with the thin blanket that was next to her.

Luhan stared at her in shock. “What’s wrong with you? It’s just me.” He said and tried to place his hand on her shoulder, but his hand was slapped away. He frowned. “What—“

“I told you to get away from me…” she murmured quietly.

“You remember me, right?” he bit his lower lip in worry about her memory and that maybes she lost it.

Suyeon sighed. "I do. I remember you. Just... get away from me... I don’t trust you, okay?" She looked away as he started getting closer.

"I wouldn’t do anything even if I wanted to… Trust me, okay?” Luhan said as he sat on the edge of the bed and placed his fingers on her chin, turning her face to him. “Did you have a nightmare?” he asked, noticing tears in her eyes.

Suyeon nodded, crying even more before she hugged her knees. “Someone wanted to r me…” she shuttered.

Luhan’s eyes went wide and without thinking he sat closer to her. "It's okay now.. What can I do for you to calm down. Do you want something?" Luhan asked, genuinely concerned about her.

Suyeon shook her head. "No...Just don't leave me alone for now."

He nodded. "Sure. Sure." He replied and silence took over for ten minutes, before Luhan broke it. “You know, I didn’t do that on purpose… I wanted to kick the ball at Myungsoo.”

“Y-Yeah… Sure…”

Luhan looked at her, frowning as he noticed her grip on her knees getting tighter. “Are you… uhm… okay?” he asked, sitting a little closer to her, making her gasp. “Are you still scared?” he asked, surprised that a simple dream could affect her like this. “If you’re scared then maybe—“

“I’m not scared.” She lied.

Luhan sighed. “Come here.” He pulled her into his embrace and her back, even though this was really weird for him. “It’s okay… uhm… if you cry and stuff… I don’t mind.” He said.

Suyeon couldn’t help but shed tears over his shirt as she remembered how Myungsoo saved her before…

Luhan cringed. "Listen... I'm not actually like this, okay? And don't think this means anything.. I still hate you the same way."

Suyeon chuckled before pulling away. She wiped her tears away and looked into his eyes. “Still…” she spoke. “Thank you. Oh and… I hate you, too." They both laughed before they heard knocking on the door.

"Yah! Lee Suyeon! The bell rang, didn't you hear??" Suyeon's eyes shot at the door when she heard Myungsoo's voice.

"Unlock the door, Luhan!” It was Dara.

Suyeon looked at Luhan and wanted to ask about the girl, but when Luhan sighed, she decided not to.

"Yah! Lulu oppa!! That girl fainted on purpose so she could spend time with you!!" Dara shouted again. Luhan couldn’t stand it anymore when he noticed how mad Suyeon was. He was about to go and have a talk with Dara, but Myungsoo’s voice stopped him.

“YAH! DO YOU THINK THAT EVERY GIRL IS AS STUPID AS YOU ARE?? NOT ALL GIRLS FOLLOW HIM WHEN HE OBVIOUSLY DOESN’T LIKE THEM, OKAY? Don’t judge people!”

Suyeon frowned in confusion. Why is he so mad? Thinking that maybe Myungsoo likes her, Suyeon turned to Luhan and asked. “Seriously… who is this girl?”

Luhan sighed. “Just a very annoying girl…”
