CHAPTER 7

            Tiffany felt a little bit restricted when she was trying to move her body when she woke up in the morning. She was rubbing her eyes for a moment and opening it, just to find what was limited her movement. She was widening her eyesmile when she was capturing the scene, that Taeyeon’s arm was wrapping around her waist securely. Unconsciously, she was staring deeply at the one who was still laying down beside her, snoring peacefully. She just smiled again when caught nothing on her face, unless an innocent baby-face cute remarks. As if she wanted to enjoy the peaceful view little bit longer, she just decided not to do any movement, as it probably would made Taeyeon woke up; however as she was witnessing how cute the expression was, she couldn’t help herself, but stole a light kiss on Taeyeon’s forehead. The latter action just made Taeyeon groaned in annoyance, as she unconsciously thought that something was bothering her sleep. Tiffany was giggling when she saw the reaction and led to wake Taeyeon up in the end.

                Taeyeon was lazily opening her eyes and releasing a little yawning. But she suddenly widened her eyes as she realized that her arm was still wrapping around Tiffany’s waist.

                “Ummm, I’m sorry,” Taeyeon quickly said and pulled away her arm. Taeyeon could felt her face was  blushing now, moreover Tiffany was just giggling while staring at her.

                “Gwaenchana,” Tiffany finally said after she could handled her laugh.

                “Y-you already woke up... and...just stared at me? Why?” Taeyeon was asking, wonderingly.

                “I didn’t want to interrupt your sleep. You seemed so peaceful. Moreover... I like to watch you sleep, somehow it made me felt relief too,” Tiffany was explaining hence admitting.

                “Uh... At least, you should put my arm out of your waist; you must be coudln’t move freely all the night,” Taeyeon said with guilty tone.

                Tiffany was shaking her head, still with her famous eyesmile when she found how dorky the  girl was.

                “I slept peacefully last night. It was because of you. Gomawo, Tae,” she said.

                “Uhm... Jinjja?”

                Tiffany was nodding her head.

                “Actually, I used to did that to my dongsaeng. When she was sad or afraid, I always hug her and somehow, it works.”

                “It works for me too,” Tiffany quickly added. “So I guess you know what you have to do to me when you find me at the same situation later.”

                Taeyeon was frowning, then shaking her head in disagreement.

                “Y-you don’t want to hug me?” Tiffany was  asking, couldn’t hide her worry in her tone.

                “Aniyahhhh,” Taeyeon replied and smiled. “I just don’t hope something bad happens to you,” she said sincerely . “I don’t want to see you sad,” she continued after a short pause, and just earned a thankful hug from glad Tiffany.

                Jessica was smiling when she saw the caller ID at her tablet.

                “Hi, Fani-ahhh,” Jessica was greeting cheerfully, as if last night there was nothing happened.

                “Um... Sica,” Tiffany was stuttering a little, finding herself felt difficult to express some apologetic words, as she realized how bad and improper her behaviour last night toward her bestfriend was.

                “Hey, why are you stuttering? Are you ok, Tiff?” Jessica was asking, worriedly.

                “Are you.. arguing with Tae?” Jessica guessed, as she didn’t find any answer from Tiffany.

                “No, Sica... I... I just felt bad for myself. Mianhae, Sica. I didn’t mean to be rude to you. I knew it was not the first time and...”

                “Gwaenchana, Baby,” Jessica cut off the sentence calmly. “You don’t need to explain to me. Don’t forget, I know you well, baby. Take it easy, kay?”

                “How could I take it easy, Sica? I mean... You’re too nice to me. I... I spatted myself for...”

                “Hey, please don’t talk like that. You know I don’t like it, huh?” Jessica’s voice became firm, as she never liked Tiffany blamed herself.

                “Mianhae, Sica,” Tiffany only could released that word, since she didn’t have any idea what else to say, as Jessica didn’t take it as a matter and it wasn’t her first time to act like that. But, deep inside her heart, she was really dreadfully sorry.

                There was a short pause.

                “Ummm.. Are you free today?” suddenly Tiffany asked, breaking the silence.

                “Ummm... I guess yes, why?” Jessica asked.

                “What if we hang out? I want to treat you something,” Tiffany said.

                “Hang out will be okay. But.. treat me? For what? I don’t think it’s necessary, Fani-aaa...”

                “Sica-aaa... I know it won’t change anything, but I feel little bit better if I treat you, so let me do that, kay?” Tiffany was pleading with aegyo, that never failed to make Jessica assented with her.

                 “Hufff... It’s unfair. You know my weakness,” Jessica was muttering but couldn’t hide her smile.

                “Okay... Great then. Taeyeon and I will pick you up soon. Better you change your clothes now. Okay, baby?”

                “Anything you ask, Mam!” Jessica said playfully and ended the conversation.

                They three were just sitting and already ordered the food when suddenly Taeyeon caught the shadow of the guy that she considered as the troublemaker, walking confidently toward her table. Either Tiffany or Jessica, who were still busy doing chit-chat just didn’t realize about the hoodlum’s presence. Taeyeon didn’t even released a single word when saw he was coming, but she also didn’t doubt to show her shudder toward him.

                “Darling?” Finally Siwon approached them. He was smiling toward Tiffany, who was getting shock because his presence caught her off guard. While Taeyeon, again, just want to throw up her meal when she heard how the hoodlum was calling Tiffany.

                I guess sooner or later, I would get anoxeria whenever I meet this jerk – again, Taeyeon was releasing an absurd mind –

                “What do you want from me?” Tiffany was glaring at her. Jessica now was glaring at Siwon too. But seemed this guy didn’t affected by the uncomfortable cimcumference.

                “I want you, Baby,” Siwon said nonchalantly.

                “We’re already over. Deal with it,” Tiffany stated.

                Siwon was smirking. “Please forgive me, Baby. I promise you, won’t let you down again,” he said. But in Taeyeon’s ears, it was just heard like a disparaging remarks. Taeyeon was scowling; her anger was almost to erupt. She could felt Tiffany was grasping her waist tightly, under the table.

                “You heard that, Siwon. Tiffany said you’re two already over,” Jessica was trying to chase him away, as she caught an unsecure gazing at Tiffany’s eyes.

                “Come on, Fani-ahhh, we have to talk,” Siwon was ignoring Jessica and stepping forward, about to hold Tiffany’s hand, but was restricted by Taeyeon’s presence, since Tiffany was sitting at the window side, while Taeyeon was sitting at the aisles side; that fortunately it was an ace in the hole for Tiffany.

                “Don’t pile on the agony. You better get going now,” Taeyeon was saying with threatening tone.

                “Come on, Tiffany... We should clear the air,” Siwon was insisting, hence persuading, but her tone wasn’t patient anymore, as Tiffany didn’t give him a good reaction.

                “Just stay away from me, Siwon!” Tiffany was yelling in frustation. Siwon seemed surprise since he didn’t expect Tiffany would called himself, just by his real name.

                “You heard her. I warn you once again, you better get going. You doesn’t deserve her and she’s absolutely deserves better guy!” Now Taeyeon was speaking up calmly, but didn’t suppress the threatening  tone.

                “Who the hell are you, speak as if have authority behalf her?” Siwon was mocking as he found herself was offended by Taeyeon’s blunt words.

                “She’s my bodyguard! And yes, she has right to talk on behalf of me!” Tiffany said, glaring at Siwon; however it made Siwon a little bit afraid.

                “It can’t be real,” he was smirking and glancing at Taeyeon. “You pick this midget being your bodyguard? Come on, don’t fool around, Fani. I can protect you better!” he was talking rudely.

                Finally, Taeyeon couldn’t held her anger anymore. She immediately stood up and about to release a punch toward Siwon’s face. But Tiffany qucikly tighten her grasp, giving cue to Taeyeon not to do it.

                Taeyeon was glaring at Tiffany who was still sitting on the bench. While Jessica was only dumbfounded witnessing the scene.

                Tiffany was shaking her head. “Don’t do it Tae,” she was asking, half begging.

                “I just wanna show him, I didn’t give him any bull only!” Taeyeon was revealing her fury.

                “Owh, I’m impressed,” Siwon was mocking again. “I better get going, I don’t wanna hit a girl,” he was pleading; but actually he was feeling a little unsecure when he caught Taeyeon’s fiery eyes. He was turning back and walking quickly, and just for a moment, disappeared from the sight.

                Tiffany was calming down angry-Taeyeon afterward. While Jessica just kept staring at Taeyeon, still almost couldn’t believe what she just witnessed. Tiffany was pulling down Taeyeon, back to her sit position again. Taeyeon was deep sighing, still with her smoldering eyes. It was really a scary remark of Taeyeon, that for both Tiffany and Jessica, was really shocking and surprising.

                “Why didn’t you let me give a lesson to that jerk?” Taeyeon was muttering.

                Tiffany was rubbing Taeyeon back to make her cooling down.

                “He didn’t deserve to get your hit.”

                “What do you mean?” Taeyeon was asked, got it wrong.

                Tiffany was smiling. “Don’t hurt your hand for him. I don’t wanna see you hurt. Moreover... It would never be right if you hit someone, for any reason. He could sue you and I really don’t want it happen,” Tiffany said sincerely.

                Taeyeon felt touchy with that and could felt her anger was gradually disappear when she caught Tiffany was gazing at her with concern look.

                “Tiffany was right, Tae,” Jessica said. “Don’t ever get trapped by him.”

                “Mianhae,” Taeyeon finally said. “I didn’t think that far. All that I think was only... to save your dignity and give him a lesson,” Taeyeon said while facing Tiffany.

                Tiffany was very touchy with Taeyeon’s innocent words. But she was succeed on holding her tears for not dropping in front of Taeyeon and Jessica.

                “Gomawo, Tae,” Tiffany said briefly, but really meant it.

                Taeyeon was only nodding her head and smiling warmly.
