Chapter 52
The Will That Changed Their Lives
Narrator’s POV
The couple arrived in front of the medical center.
“We’re not going inside. It’s dirty.” Soomin stated as she started the car again. Yunho looked at the building.
“How did you cope up? Living alone.” Yunho asked.
“It was difficult at first, but…I adjusted.”
“That’s why I’m dragging you back to Seoul with me. You’ve been alone for too long.”
Soomin just grinned.
“When is our flight?” She asked.
“I didn’t schedule anything, we can come home anytime you want.”
Your POV
We stepped inside the mall. Yunho was walking beside me with his hand at the small of my back. I grinned as I asked him playfully,
“How’s the company?”
“It is in dire need of a first lady.” He replied.
“Be serious.” I said.
“Hmm, when you left abeoji hated me, he was mad at me. He told me about the will, and about that, you and I need to talk.”
I looked away. He knew.
“Shim, I mean, Jung Soomin, what were you thinking? How could you do that? Its unfair.”
“It was the only thing I could think of.” I replied.
“How about your shares then?” He asked, I looked at him and placed my hands on the sides of his cheeks.
“Don’t worry, they are in good hands.” I replied. Yunho narrowed his eyes at me.
“Trust me, they’re fine.” I grinned as I took his hand.
“You still have to treat me ice cream, Jung!”
Yunho’s POV
I watched her as she skipped over to an ice cream stall. It’s amazing how everything has somehow returned to normal.
I’m happy. Happy that she accepted me despite everything that has happened. Also, I feel better now that I can express my feelings for her openly and especially, she’s still my wife and will always be.
“Yunho, what flavor do you~ Ya!” I s my arm around her waist.
“I cant hold you now?” I asked. The ice cream vendor smiled at us. He handed Soomin our order and we walked.
“Let go.” She said. I shook my head and just brought her closer.
“Please?”
“I told you earlier, I’m not letting you go again.” I replied.
“Cheesy, really. But, I’ll let it pass just for today.” She said as she looked around.
“I miss Seoul, honestly.”
“Good.” I replied.
“What happened when I left?”
“Mister Lee was sent to prison, no one has ever heard about his family again.”
She nodded.
“You know what? You left when everybody wanted to protect you.”
“When I first saw it on the news I was worried. What if you got hurt? What if~”
“But, I’m fine see?”
“You should have told me first, Soomin. I’m your husband, I’m suppose to be your support system.”
“Arasso.” She muttered. I just grinned.
“Would it be okay if we fly home today?” She suddenly asked.
“Wae?”
“I’m worried. You told me about Changmin oppa being mad.”
I chuckled.
“Arasso, I’ll have the jet prepared.”
