Sehun walked around the huge training field until he was sure everything was going perfectly fine. Kai had gone having his sword training session with Jae Sun, not far from where he was standing. He let out a small laugh when he saw Kai freaking out because Jae Sun almost cut a bit of his hair with his sword.


Deciding he had enough watching them, Sehun turned around to go back to his room. But not yet one step he took, someone bumped on him and made his thin body fell down before he could realize it.


"Oh I'm sorry! I didn't see y-" the heavy voice stopped suddenly, and came out a loud gasp in exchange.


"OH MY GOD PRINCE SEHUN I'M SO SORRY!"


Sehun felt strong arms lifted his body back to his position before he fell down. He blinked few times and stared up to see who dared touching his body. Only his father and his uncle and Kai who had ever touched him like that.


Well, in Kai's case... Nevermind. He shook his head.


"You..." Sehun narrowed his eyes at the taller boy's familiar face.


"Ah.. Yes, me again. Really I'm so very very sorry for bumping on you, Your Majesty! Please don't send me to the sea and not allowing me to come back here ever again!" he bowed deeply and shouted his apology in panic.


Sehun's eyes widened, feeling more familiar to the bursting out.


"Ah.. Are you..?"


"Chanyeol-ssi? You're back already?" Sehun turned his head to see Jae Sun and Kai had finished their training session.


"Ah, yes, Your Highness. I was dismissed to see my sick mother and take care of her until she's alright," Chanyeol bowed once again at Jae Sun.


"Is that really you, Chanyeol hyung?" Kai stepped forward and stared up at him. "Look how tall you are now. What have you eaten during wars? You're supposed to be small and thin and.. Ugly," Kai looked at him closely up and down, eyes narrowed.


Chanyeol gasped and covered his mouth, his big eyes got even bigger at the words. "Is this handsome man Kim Jongin the brat that is standing in front of me??"


"Such a nice way to begin after many years of being separated, you fish," Kai snorted, but then smirked and his perfectly styled pitch black hair. "But thanks for pointing out that I'm handsome."


"Oh my God I thought you're a random guy from other kingdom who's joining a sudden beauty contest here! Look at your look-at-my-chest shirt. And that hair. and that face. And oohh that chest!" Chanyeol reached out his hands to touch Kai.


"Cut it out!" Kai crossed his arms to cover his chest like a girl.


Sehun and Jae Sun watched them with their jaw dropped.


"And... I thought you guys were against each other?" Sehun asked carefully, had remembered who Chanyeol was. His childhood memory about that day slowly crawling back to surface, made him winced slightly.


"No, he was part of us the brats, but he quit the gang though," Chanyeol circled his arm around Kai's shoulder and made a face-splitting grin.


"Yeah, I didn't like how Jun acted to other kids. And I knew you didn't like it either, hyung," Kai punched his chest playfully.


"Yes but I had no choice. If I quit like you then no one would stop him when he went over limit. The others wouldn't dare stopping him you know," Chanyeol frowned before grinning again. "I missed you so much though! I just wanted to run to you that time but I couldn't, just couldn't," he ruffled Kai's hair. Kai snorted and turned his head away.
