Minutes later, we were heading towards my house in the new Jaguar.

To break the silence between us, I started a conversation. "So what made you change your mind about going to the party?" I turned to see L.Joe smirking while looking ahead, "I never said I wouldn't go." I ducked my head, "Oh."

He exhaled, "I thought it be fun too. How many would I get invited to a fancy party like this, huh?" L.Joe looked at me and smirked some more. I felt bad and kept quiet.

"Ah, ___, you're here." My mom saw me come in and came over to hug me, "Oh who's this? Your partner?" My mom looked behind me to see L.Joe awkwardly peering around.

I looped my arm through his and smiled, "Mom, this is Lee Byunghun, my partner. Since I told him that you and dad wanted to see him so bad, he agreed to come."

"Nice to meet you Mrs. Baek." L.Joe put on his best manners and shook hands with my mom, "Oh what a charming young man. Hold on, let me go get your father." My mom walked away to go fetch my dad.

"Why don't we," I looked around for something to do, "Go get something to drink?" I suggested and L.Joe shrugged and nodded.

A couple minutes later, I heard my mom's voice from behind. I turned around to see mom introducing dad to L.Joe. I smiled at the sight of the three of them getting along. Suddenly, my dad headed my way with L.Joe. I quickly turned around and sipped my drink casually while talking to my friends.

"___," My dad's voice interupted my chatting and my friends understood so they kindly walked away, "Yes dad?" I put on a fake smile. I drank my punch while waiting for him to talk.

"I accept." L.Joe looked me then my dad with a raised eyebrow, "What? Accept what?" I was confused.

"You have my permission to date." My dad smiled proudly. L.Joe's eyes were about to bulge out of his sockets. I choked on my beverage, "Neh?!" We both yelled at the same time.
