CHO HEE POV

*still in the past*

Its been at least a day since I bumped into that cute guy Yoseob. But I can’t stop thinking about him because I know he is

married now and I need to stop it before I get into trouble. I sighed and got up form my bed and looked at the calling card

again. Should I? I kept thinking. I couldn’t help but to keep thinking that question. It killed me so much. But I really needed the

job right? So I guess I should.

I picked up my phone and started to dial Yoseob’s number

*conversation*

YS: Yoboseyo?

CH: Ahhh uhhh Y Y Yoseob-sshi?

YS: Neh this is he. Is this-

CH: Neh its me Cho Hee. We bumped into each other-

YS: At the toy store. Yes I remembered.

CH: Aha neh.

I was sooo nervous I couldn’t even talk right!

CH: Yoseob-sshi I was wondering if I could take the job. Unless you have found someone else its perfectly-

YS: Oh thank you! I really hoped that you would say yes! I am glad!

CH: Ahhh yes! Haha! SO what time should I arrive?

YS: You can maybe come by now? I really am busy today and my friends can’t watch her.

CH: Sure! So come now?

YS: Yes please! Thank you Cho Hee-ah! See you in a few!

I smiled and got ready. I was standing there really deciding what to wear to babysit. What the hell Cho Hee! You don’t hit on

married men!

I sat there literally starring at my things then I just decided to just wear skinny jeans and a sweater and maybe a scarf with my

vanz. I’m not usually a girly girl, but I can be girly IF I want to. I walked out with my stuff ready and was just about to head out

the door when the wicked witches came. “YAH! Where do you think you are going?!” Shouted my step mom. I was ALMOST

out! Just one step away. “I’m going to go out”, I said which sounded more of a whisper. I looked down afraid that if I looked

at them something bad would happen. “And where is that actually?” Suzy asked. I can tell that they were angry. “Going to get

groceries. There’s no more uhhhh veggies”, I lied. “Fine, but get me some ice cream while you are at it!” Suzy said and they

left me. I sighed in relief and ran out the door before they could even ask me more questions.

Both of those es, really hate it when I leave. My life is like that one movie, “Cinderella Story”, except maybe without the

online stuff. But the step mother and step sister is all correct. I was walking along the streets when I suddenly forgot

something. How can I be sooo stupid?! I called Yoseob again, “Cho Hee, are you here?” “Uhhh well you see Yoseob, I

kinda, well, I don’t even know where you live”. I face palmed myself and I could hear him chuckle at the other end. Then he

gave me instructions and I started to head over there. His house was very simple. Not too fancy or too poor, it was just

average.

I walked up the steps and rang the door bell. “I’ll get it Appa!!!!” I heard Eun Mi yell. I giggled at her cute voice and when she

opened the door I saw her cute little face. “UNNIE~!!!!!!!” She jumped onto me and I held her tightly. “Aigoo! Eun Mi! ahaha I

missed you too!” I laughed and carried her in. I walked in and closed the door. “Eun Mi! Didn’t I tell you not to jump on

people like that?!” Yoseob scowled her as he walked down the stairs. He was very handsome I should say. He walked down

wearing plain jeans and a blacks v neck shirt and he was wearing his glasses which made him much cuter.

“Aigoo, mianhae Cho Hee-ah. Eun Mi gets too excited sometimes”, I giggled, “It’s fine really!” I smiled and Eun Mi took my

hand and dragged me to the living room/kitchen. “Unnie! You need to play with me and my dolls!” She sat down and told me

to sit. I was laughing at how cute she was and I got one of her dolls and started to play. As I was playing, so many flashbacks

kept coming to me. The times when both of my parents would play with me and I would always smile. It reminded me of Eun

Mi. I smiled and continued to play with her.

I  felt someone starring at me so I turned around and I saw Yoseob there smiling at Eun Mi and I playing. “She really likes

you Cho Hee”, he said and came towards us. I looked up at him and I noticed how close our faces were and I looked down

and blushed while playing with Cho Hee. “Uhhh Yoseob-sshi, what time id your wife coming home?” I asked. I noticed him

stiffen when I said that. “She isn’t coming till later”, he said and looked down for a few seconds then he got up and went to

the kitchen. “Uhh, Yoseob-sshi I can cook if you would like to”, I suggested. He looked up at me and he smiled a little, “nah

its fine, just make sure Eun Mi eats her snacks and then I will cook this for her dinner”, he turned around and started to cook.

YOSEOB POV

When Cho Hee asked that, I just couldn’t tell her right there in front of Eun Mi. All that Eun Mi knows is that her mom is on a

business trip. I just let it go and started to cook. It was so nice to finally hear Eun Mi laughing like that again. I mean yeah she

laughed a lot with the guys but I mean, her laugh with Cho Hee, kinda makes the mood a lot better. And I was watching Cho

Hee and Eun Mi earlier and I didn’t even notice that I was starring at them. It felt as if we were one big whole family. It made

me smile thinking about it. I really envied those families that have one complete family and have no problems. I just want

what is best for my little girl. She means the whole world to me.

I remember when Eun Mi was only 4 years old and I attempted to date a girl that DooJoon said that she would be perfect for

me. Her name was Na Eun. She was a beautiful girl. I mean beautiful! But the thing is that, she wasn’t my type. I like girls

who are, well like Cho Hee. What am I saying?!?! I can’t date! Then I brought her home to introduce her to Eun Mi, but Eun

Mi ran away crying. I apologized to her and said that we can’t see each other. My little girl matters more to me.

I finished making Eun Mi’s dinner and cleaned up the dishes. I finished and looked over at the two. Eun Mi was playing with

her doll house that Kikwang gave her for her birthday. I smiled and she kept playing with her dolls. I looked over at Cho Hee

and she was enjoying herself a lot. Watching her play with my little girl, made my heart beat fast.
