Chapter 18: Accidentprone

"You Idiot!" The young man's voice shouted at you.

He threw your arms away and you shifted your head to look at him "Lu Han--"

"You could've been in an accident if I wasn't here to save you!" he lightly pushed your head back with his index finger "Or maybe even dead! weren't you aware that you were walking in the middle of the road!?"

"Well, where else can I walk, we don't have side--" you avered.

"So what?!" he shot back. You just stayed quiet for a moment and looked away, folding your hair behind your ear. He began to walk ahead and huffed. But then he eventually stops since he couldn't leave you hanging, he didn't want you to get into another accident.

You looked up and noticed that he stopped, and then he turned around "Lets go" he said.

You stared, tilting your head to the side trying to calculate what he just said in your head."C'mon!" he said, waving his hand in the air, gesturing for you to move faster "Oh!" you jogged towards him.

He glared at you and flinged his head to the side"go to my right side" he suggested. You bowed and  scooted beside him "Oh..t-thank you" 

"eh.. you're too much of an accidentprone" he said with a straight face "I wouldn't want to be a witness in an event. such a hassle"

You smiled secretly and followed him as he walked, you thought that it was because he wanted to save you, not because it was for his sake.

While walking with Lu Han, you remembered that you still had to buy a gift for him. You've been passing by some stores for the past few days and nothing seemed to interest you. You didn't really know what he wanted, or what he's interested to, in general.

You don't really know anything about him, besides being chinese, a top student,  being attractive, and living in a perfect household. Though, the two of you were alone, it wasn't really appropriate to ask him about it so suddenly, not ever.

To be frank, you just started liking him because he was physically attractive, knowing a little bit of his background made him seem.. perfect. In your position now, it's hard to get to know him since you don't see him that much in school.

Also you didn't have any moments where you two actually talked about yourselves to each other. Probably the longest conversation you had with him was when you were sick.

But for most of the time, you slept and was distracted by everything that surrounded you.

"Are you feeling better?" he asked abruptly.

"Pardon me?"  "Are you still sick?" he said.

"No, I'm feeling better now" You nodded as you were saying every word "Thankyou for bringing me home that time" He smiled weakly and pulled out his fist infront of you. You stared at it and then at him

"Is this yours?" he loosened the grip of his fist, revealing  a small pink ribbon, it looked like as if it was dettached from something else. You then realized that it looked like your earings. You felt your earlobes, to check on your earings. The right side whole of your earlobe was still occupied by your earing but your left side was empty.

"Oh.."

"is it yours?"  You nodded and held out your palms. He dropped the earing on your palms "It was on my bed, it was poking my back last time"

"Really?!" You were flustered waving your hands not knowing what to do, that he might have been hurt from that small metal. "Are you okay?!"

He snickered and looked at you with an are-you-joking look "It's a small earing, it's not going to kill me" he slipped his hand down to his pocket and reached for his phone. He looked at the time and it was nearly 8:10 am. Classes starts at 9 and it was still pretty early.

When the two you finally arrived at the school, you were welcomed by a huge crowd of Lu Han's fan girls, though they weren't screaming like what they usually do, they were just whispering to each other, surprised of Lu Han's arrival.  

You suddenly stayed back and hesistated to walk further. You saw some of your friends glaring at you (Not Ji Eun and Hana), it terrified you to come any closer. Who knows what will happen.

"Byuntae. what are you doing?" Lu Han furrowed his eyebrows at you "we're here, go to your class"

You blinked multiple times and gulped "Oh.. y-yeah bye" you waved nervously. Lu Han came through the crowd without trouble. The girls were looking at him, but they weren't making any noise.

After he left, all eyes were glued at you this time. It was awkward and scary, passing by people who were just staring at you so boldly. It was worse than  last time, it was like they were bad mouthing you through their gaze.

You kept your eyes to the ground and walked faster. 

As soon as you made it through the crowd of girl, you rushed your way to class to avoid anything more severe.
