Kihyun is in the middle of delivering his closing speech when the feeling of wetness suddenly growing in between his leg. He got distracted and eventually stop talking. Luckily, he chooses to deliver his closing speech from behind the desk today instead of in the middle of the court like he usually does. Thanks to his black pant, the wet spot isn't very noticeable. He touches it and is extremely relieved that it isn't red which mean he is not bleeding. It's just some clear liquid that he pretty sure isn't urine either since they are odourless.  

"Lawyer Yoo?" the Judge calls for him. "Is something wrong?" 

When Kihyun looks up, he instantly becomes self-conscious that everyone is looking at him. Some are looking at him worriedly. Some are just curious. He clears his throat and tries to remain as calm as he can be. "No, your honour" he answered and continue his speech. 

"I think your water broke, Lawyer Yoo" the defendant whisper to him when he is done and resumes to sit. 

"Focus" Kihyun simply replied. Mentally praying the session will be adjourned soon. 

Kihyun's defendant this time is a 55 woman who is accused of possession of drugs due to circumstantial evidence. Other than the location of the drug which is found in her car, there is no physical evidence that shows that the drug belongs to her. In fact, the car where the drug was found was used by her grandson prior to the finding. However, the grandson is not in Korea at this moment. He's actually staying with his parents in London and come here for visiting his grandmother only for few weeks. However, when Kihyun makes a phone call to the grandson, he admitted he did not use the car himself. He actually secretly rented it to someone else as he needed extra money for his tuition fees as the semester break is ending. His claim is verified by his girlfriend who admitted he is with her for the whole week and she also witnesses the renting transaction. 

The poor 55 years old woman was arrested on her way home from the market after the police stop her to inspect her car as they were tracking a prisoner who escaped in her neighbourhood. When Kihyun visited her neighbourhood, not even one person has anything bad to say about her. To accuse someone like that as a drug distributor or user is kind of unreal since the first symptoms associated with drug use is problematic behaviour. In addition, she is also a retired ob-gyn. So, when she said she thinks Kihyun's water broke it actually send Kihyun into a panic mood since he is too early to go into labour. 

After a long of deliberating, the judge adjourned the session and will continue at noon to deliver the judgement. The judge then returns to her chamber and people start leaving the courtroom. 

"Not hard," the defendant says as she checks Kihyun's belly. "I don't think you are in labour. Maybe you having a leak. Go to the hospital and asked them to test for PPROM" she said before she follows the bailiff to another room. PPROM stand for the preterm premature rupture of membrane. It's a condition where the amniotic membrane that surrounded the baby ruptures. In most cases, the cause is unknown. This will usually increase the risk of infection or having the baby born early. 

Prosecutor Kwak approaches his friend. "What is it?" he asked. Concerned. 

"I don't know what but I need to go to the hospital" Kihyun answered as he packs his stuff. When he stands up, he can feel another gush of liquid coming out from him. 

"Oh my god. How far along are you?" Prosecutor Kwak naturally helps Kihyun to walk out of the courtroom and even offered to carry his bag for him. Completely forget to notify his partner who is actually looking at him in confusion as he left with Kihyun. 

"Turning 33 weeks in two days" Kihyun answered. It's not like he has difficulty walking, but the liquid keep flowing out of him with every movement he made is making it uncomfortable to walk. 

Along the way to the hospital, Kihyun just keeps quiet and it makes Prosecutor Kwak nervous. No complaint of pain or anything. His friend is just looking outside the car window in a daze. "Should I call Hyunwoo?" he asked. 

"No need. We are heading there. Plus, Hyunwoo left for Busan for a convention this morning. I will call him after figure out what is happening. I don't want him to get distracted" Kihyun replied as he rubs his belly. The babies are still active so hopefully, nothing is serious about this. 

Minhyuk is in the middle of having lunch when his phone suddenly ringing at full volume. The loud sound makes him the centre of attention in the cafe. He immediately answers it as he mouthed 'sorry' to everyone. 

"Chessa probably plays with his phone last night," Hyungwon said as he observes Minhyuk expression closely. 

"She's too young to play with the phone though" Jooheon commented. 

"It's not like she is using it. She just loves throwing things lately. Mine is already broken. So she moves to a new target" Hyungwon explains.

"Should put it at higher place" Jooheon replied. 

"What makes you think she wouldn't climb to reach it?" Changkyun asked. 

Jooheon is about to say something about babyproofing the house but Minhyuk suddenly stands up and seem rushed to leave. "At least drink!" he said instead. 

Minhyuk returns to the table. He finished his drink in one shot before mumbling "Kihyun is in the ER" and left.

"What?" Changkyun frowned as he doesn't really catch what Minhyuk was saying. 

"I think I heard he said Kihyun and ER" Hyungwon sound unsure. 

Changkyun chokes on his food. "He said what?" he asked while trying to stop himself from coughing. 

"ER!" all three of them stand up and running out of the cafe.

When Minhyuk pulls open the curtain, both he and Kihyun is surprised to see the three doctors there. 

"Hi" Kihyun greet them awkwardly. 

"It's a leak. I'm suspecting a leak from the higher water bag, just send the sample test to the lab. But, I'm confident that I am right" Minhyuk told the worried three. "No uterus tenderness, no foul or coloured discharged, no fever too, no sign of labour" he added.

"Infection?" Jooheon asked. Casually taking the chart from Minhyuk. "How are the babies tolerant to the low fluid?"

"So far...it seems like they haven't noticed it yet. The leak stopped but I will keep monitoring the babies" Minhyuk simply answered. He avoids using any medical term because he knows for sure it will make Kihyun nervous. "As for the infection, we got to wait till the lab test comes back but I'm pretty sure it's not the case. Other than his a little higher heart rate, everything else seems normal" 

"What you gonna do?" Changkyun asked. 

"Admit him and put him on full bed rest. Hopefully, the leak will seal itself" Minhyuk smiles a little before continue, "Water bag leak is pretty common in multiple pregnancies. All you need is a proper rest" to Kihyun.

"What if it doesn't?" Changkyun asked. 

"Induce labour" both Jooheon and Minhyuk answered simultaneously. 

"He just 32 weeks" Changkyun is concerned. 

"32 weeks is a moderate premie. They usually can do well outside the womb with proper care" said Jooheon as he looks at the fetal monitor. Both babies are not in distress which is a good thing. 

"You said it pretty common in multiple. But, he didn't have it the last time" Hyungwon said. 

"He was on limited bed rest back then" Minhyuk simply answered. 

"I was on miscarriage risk, remember?" Kihyun blurt out. All four of them look at him with their 'it will be different this time' look. "Are you admitting me today?" he asked instead. 

"Yup, why?" Minhyuk asked as he takes the chart back from Jooheon. "Choose your words wisely. If you say something about your work, I'm gonna flip this table" he threatened the pregnant man and receives a smack from Jooheon on his back. 

"Why would you threatening your patient?" Changkyun is looking at the Obgyn. Obviously, judging his friend. 

Kihyun can't help but smiles at the scene in front of him. "Hyunwoo is out of town. Sang Wook..." 

"We promise Hyunwoo to watch over you. You just focus on the babies. Let us worry about everything else" Hyungwon cut off. "I bet Sang Wook will be happy to have a sleepover with Chessa"

"Henry and Harriet too" Changkyun added. 

Kihyun is torn between whether he should say 'thank you' or should he say 'sorry' for bothering them. So, he takes a safe choice which is smiling. Something told him whether it is 'sorry' or 'thank you', he will still receive a lecture about how they are all like a family and helping each other is nothing. 

"You are in a good hand, Kihyun. I will go proceed with your admission paper. Don't go anywhere until I come back" Minhyuk said then excuse himself.

"Both of you better behave in there and wait until your papa come home, ok?" Jooheon is talking to the babies on the monitor. 

"Or what? You gonna flip the table too?" Hyungwon asked because Jooheon sound like he is about to threaten the unborn babies.

"Do I look like the type to flip the table?" Jooheon replied. 

"Why not? Don't you do that to Changkyun often?" Hyungwon comment makes Changkyun ears go read. Jooheon just glares at him. "Well...I'm going to see my patient. Then, I will come to your ward later" 

"For?" Kihyun asked. 

"You think?" Hyungwon asked back because he knows Kihyun already know the answer. Kihyun last childbirth is rather traumatic and at how fast this pregnancy progressing, Hyungwon is sure Kihyun hasn't prepared himself for the upcoming birth yet. He was planning to talk to Kihyun after Hyunwoo come back from his convention, but this happened so he better do it fast. "Don't worry. I will be gentle" he added when Kihyun look at him as if he is terrified of him. 

"You better be or I will tell Hoseok," Changkyun said as he smirks. Hyunwoo may be Kihyun's husband, but Hoseok is Kihyun's guardian angel since forever. You make a mess with Kihyun you better be ready to face Hoseok wrath. If that muscular man can put aside his 'no violence' principle for Kihyun, he can do anything for Kihyun. 

"You do that and you are not invited to my funeral" Hyungwon replied as he walks away. 

"What makes you think I would come to yours when I don't attend mine?" Changkyun is mumbling but Kihyun still got to hear what he said. "It's a fact. Death people don't attend their own funeral" he said in a defensive tone. 

"Or, you just simply plan doesn't want to outlive him" Kihyun replied because he got a completely different interpretation of what Changkyun said. Changkyun may interpret his word in a literal way which is true. No dead person will be attending their own funeral. But, in Kihyun point of view, what Changkyun is saying are equivalent to 'how come can I attend yours when I missed mine because he's gone before him.  

"Ok, that's escalated pretty fast" Jooheon is lost in the conversation. 

When the doctors leave, Prosecutor Kwak comes closer to his friend.  "Does your husband come with buy 1 free 4 packages?" Prosecutor Kwak jokes. 

Kihyun laughed at the remark. He can understand what the prosecutor is implying though. Hyunwoo doesn't usually go to the outstation but when he does, the others will just naturally fill in his vacancy. In fact, they have been doing that even before he is married to Hyunwoo. They started caring for him like he is their own, ever since Hyunwoo mistook his morning sickness for TBI years ago. Honestly, he still feels like he is living someone else life sometimes.

Who would ever think that renting out the guest room in your house will change your life?
