Kihyun wakes up to a sleeping Hyunwoo on the chair next to his bed. They are holding hands in their sleep. Kihyun didn't know why, but Hyunwoo always has this little frown when he is sleeping and Kihyun find it cute considering that Hyunwoo is known for only having one facial expression. 

'What scared you, Kihyun? If Dasom is...'

'No. After all those things I had going through, death doesn't scare me anymore. Honestly, I don't know. Maybe it's because everything happened too fast. If something went wrong, it will hit us hard and...what if we can't recover from it? I don't want to lose us, Hyunwoo. You are the greatest gift I ever have"

'If losing us is what concerned you, you shouldn't be. This is supposed to be a secret, but I will tell you about it today. Remember when you asked me how can I move on from the bus explosion so fast? It's because having your heartbeat stop in my hand is the worst thing that ever happened to me. Nothing can top that, not even Dasom's passing. I may not show it, but almost losing you is still affecting me till today. I still wake up every two hours just to confirm you are still breathing'

'I know you do, Hyunwoo. But, you lost her and can't even give her a proper funeral. If I didn't make it that day, at least you know, you have done your best for me. The way you lost her and the way you almost lost me is incomparable'

'I have two Dasom and I only have one Yoo Kihyun in my life. That's should explain how special you are to me'

Kihyun unconsciously smiles as Hyunwoo fix his oxygen mask for him. 

'You shall not walk alone, may my heart be your shelter and my arms be your home. As I have given you my hand to hold, I have given you my life to keep'

It doesn't matter how many times Kihyun heard the verse being said, it still makes his heart flutter every time. 'Let's not revising our wedding vows now. You should go home. Sang Wook is probably waiting for us. I mean you since I'm stuck here' 

"You are awake" 

Kihyun memory of last night disappears from his mind when he heard Hyunwoo's waking up voice. 

"Do you need something? Water?" Hyunwoo asked as he stretches his body. He looks at the clock on the wall. It's 7.30 o'clock in the morning. 

"I told you to go home last night, didn't I?" Kihyun replied instead. 

"You did. But, I pretty sure Sang Wook will scold me if I leave his mother alone" Hyunwoo stand up and kiss Kihyun on the forehead. "How are you feeling today?" he asked while taking a seat on the bed, eyes fix on the monitor. "Your oxygen level is normal, heartbeat is still a bit off. Do you still feel tightness in your chest?"

"Really? You are going to be a doctor the moment you wake up?"

Hyunwoo is confused. They are in the hospital. His wife is attached to the heart monitor and wearing an oxygen mask. Of course, he wants to know about his improvement after spending overnight in the hospital. Plus, he's an actual doctor. What else can he be? After giving it a proper thought, he gasped when he realized it. "Good morning, my babies" he whispers to the little bump as he gently pats it. 

"I pretty sure that's the babies greeting you back" Kihyun smiles as he put his hand on top of Hyunwoo's. The babies movement is what wakes him up and they haven't stopped moving since then. 

"I think that's our babies complaining about the food," Hyunwoo said with a smile. "You didn't eat much yesterday. I should go get you something to eat. Tell me what do you want"

"Just get me something easy to digest" Kihyun replied after a moment of thinking. 

"No craving?" Hyunwoo sounded like he is disappointed. 

"Not yet" Kihyun laughed a little at Hyunwoo reaction. 

"Ok, will come back soon" Hyunwoo wanted to kiss Kihyun on the lips but the oxygen mask gets in the way. So, he removes it just for the kiss and put it on properly again. 

Kihyun just smiles as he watches Hyunwoo left the ward. "My husband is actually a dork" he mumbles to himself. 

"Good morning, Chief Sohn. I haven't seen you this early on Sunday for quite some time" 

"After I got hurt, they don't allow me on weekend duty" Hyunwoo informs the cafeteria lady. "It's a miracle they cleared me for surgery" 

"That explosion was a huge deal, Chief Sohn. You may not notice, but everyone is still talking about how you miraculously survive the explosion with minimum injury" the lady replied. "What can I get for you?" she finally takes the order. 

"Do you have something easy to digest?" Hyunwoo asked while going through the menu. 

"Are you feeling sick?" the lady sound worried. 

"No, I'm ordering it for my wife. He got hospitalized yesterday and lost his appetite"

"We have a wild salmon dipped in sour cream today. Is it ok? Does it sound like it is easy to digest?" the lady sounds unsure while she goes through the menu with Hyunwoo. 

"Wild salmon may help reduce the risk of prenatal depression, and they're critical for the development of the baby's eyes and brain" Jooheon suddenly shows up out of nowhere. "I can't confirm you if it is easy to digest, but it's good for pregnancy" 

Hyunwoo is surprised by the sudden interruption while the lady exclaims in excitement.

"Congratulations, Chief Sohn. No wonder you look dazzling these days. It's an aura of becoming a father again" the lady said happily. "Two serving?" she asked while showing two-finger. 

"Just one. One cranberry juice and one iced americano" Hyunwoo replied. "What do you want?" he asked Jooheon. 

"A large cup of espresso" Jooheon answered. 

The lady punch in their order in the register machine and Hyunwoo paid for it. 

"Large espresso? You seem to have a rough night" Hyunwoo said as they walk to an empty table. To wait for their order. 

"Kind of. 3-month-old twins came to the ER yesterday. Both needed an emergency liver transplant. They only have one match donor which is the father. So, I spent all night comparing records because the parents told me to choose which baby should receive the liver. I'm still waiting for the centre to call back. I hope they got a match too, so I don't have to choose" Jooheon briefly explains followed with a yawn.

"They must ask you to choose because they can't do it themselves" Hyunwoo replied. Mentally praying he would never have to face such circumstances in his fatherhood journey.

"Imagine I have to choose between Henry and Harriet" Jooheon mumbles. 

"What do you say?" 

"Nothing. By the way, how is Kihyun? I met Minhyuk yesterday. I wanted to go and check on him but got caught with work" 

"Kihyun seem a lot better and calmer today. But, I still feel like a failed husband for not noticing. Kihyun never likes cranberries but he keeps ordering cranberry juice these days. I should have noticed. It's just like in his last pregnancy. He never likes seafood but he's craving it. Can you imagine yourself in my position? Can you understand how disappointed I am for not noticing my wife is pregnant?" 

"Actually, I don't. Firstly, because Changkyun can't get pregnant. But, if I really have to imagine myself in your position, I still can't imagine it. You know Changkyun and I don't practice personal space concept" 

"With that amount of skinship of course you will notice and...seriously if either one of you can get pregnant, I'm quite sure that half of Korea population is contributed by both of you. It's a surprise you didn't cheat on him when you were in Seattle" Hyunwoo let out a little laugh, almost like he is mocking. "I think I should move into Kihyun's room" 

"Excuse me, I don't think about s_x all the time and Changkyun is all I need" Jooheon simply replied.

"I find it cool that you guys are too competitive when it's about work, competing who is a better doctor. I wonder if that ever give you guys a problem at home? You know, sometimes rivalry went out of control"

"We got out of control a lot, always make out to fix it"

"You mean makeup" Hyunwoo correcting Jooheon.  

"That's not a typo" Jooheon casually replied. 

Hyunwoo frowned at the unexpected disclosure. He never gets a fight with Kihyun but he pretty sure making out is not an ideal way to deal with his angry wife.

The moment Sang Wook entered the house. He immediately dashes to his mother's room. It's been three days since he last saw his mother and according to his father this morning, his mother will be home today. "Mama!" he excitedly climbs the bed when he sees his mother is reading a magazine on the bed. "I missed you a lot" 

"I missed you a lot more" Kihyun replied as he hugs his son tightly. "Where is papa?"

"Papa is in surgery. So, Uncle Hoseok pick me up. He's in the kitchen, feeding Chessa" Sang Wook told his mother before releasing himself. He takes off his backpack and takes out something from it. "A gift for you, mama. I bought it with my own allowance" 

Kihyun opens the package and smiles when he sees it's a set of pregnancy cream. He can't help but feel proud of his son. Though, this is not the first time Sang Wook give him a gift. But, this is the first time Sang Wook buy something for him. Usually,  Sang Wook will handmade something for him and Kihyun has a space in his backyard store room dedicated to those artwork gifts. It was Hyunwoo who come up with the allowance system. He wanted to teach Sang Wook the concept of earning and saving. Hyunwoo will give Sang Wook an allowance for every chore that he does and refrain Kihyun from doing the same. Kihyun never asks why, though. He just goes along with the idea. 

"I can't wait to see them," Sang Wook said as he looks at his mother's tummy. "Do you think they will like me?" 

Kihyun pulls his son into a hug. "First of all, thank you for the gift. I love it. Secondly, I will scold them if they don't" he whispers.

"I will still like them even if they don't like me," Sang Wook said as he snuggles to his mother's chest. 

When it comes to love, Kihyun is very grateful that Sang Wook is taking after Hyunwoo instead of him. This is because Kihyun is the type that will always feel insecure when it comes to love. He just has to make sure he really deserves it and keep pondering about all the unnecessary things. While Hyunwoo is completely the opposite. He never cares about how people treat him, he only cares about how he treats others. Getting mistreated is never a problem to him. Sang Wook is just the same and Kihyun is very envious of that trait of them.
