The Rules
The Golden QuillGaelin followed Namjoon as he led the way to a private dining room in Finite. The hotel was owned by Jung Ho-seok and was incredibly busy on a Saturday night. Gaelin had been stopped more than once by respective businesspeople and it had been Namjoon’s job to ease her through these unexpected meetings. People were always approaching his Presidents and he protected them with is own life if need be. Even if his own life was a mess, he would always do his job.
Gaelin was deep in thought, but looking up she noticed that her House Master seemed despondent. They had joked earlier but now she saw that his shoulders were slumped and he walked with less confidence.
“House Master,” Gaelin caught his arm and he turned expectantly.
“Is something wrong President? I apologize for all those people who approached you. I will work harder…”
“Are you alright?” Gaelin cut him off and tightened her grip on his arm, “Are you?” she pressed when he lowered his eyes.
“All is well of course. President, please do not doubt me…”
Gaelin released him, he didn’t want to talk to her so she would let him be for now. “We are here.” Namjoon knocked on the door before entering. “The President is here.” He announced to the room.
Yoongi and Ho-seok rose from their chairs as Gaelin entered. Namjoon helped his President out of her coat and hung it in the closet. “Enjoy your evening.” He bowed to the room.
“Go home.” Gaelin turned to him.
“I cannot leave you…”
“It will be fine.” Gaelin swore under her breath, “Pali ka.” She ordered and he blushed before leaving the room. Gaelin took a deep breath and turned to face her friends. “Well, well. Presidents are you well?” she plastered a smile on her face and approached the table.
“You’re lovely this evening.” Yoongi praised as he pulled out her chair and waited for her to sit. He sat beside her and poured a glass of red wine. They were silent as they thought about what lay ahead.
