Suspicion
The Golden QuillYoongi stood on the runway and watched as Ho-seok signed off on some last minute documents.
“I will be back as soon as I can. I don’t want you to worry about Sinyeo. I am taking care of it.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Yoongi was suddenly weary.
“Just what I said. I will find a solution. I am looking into some possibilities in the States for your dear cousin.”
“What makes you think she’d leave Korea?” Yoongi was doubtful and Ho-seok was being secretive. He didn’t like it.
“How is Park Areum? Maybe you should see her while I’m away…”
“That’s over.” Yoongi snapped and saw his friend’s concern, “Don’t worry about it. You have a plane to catch.”
“First, it’s a private plane, so it will leave when I’m good and ready. Second, are you alright?”
“I will survive.” Yoongi looked out to the runway
“Come with me,” Ho-seok suddenly suggested.
“No, I don’t want to leave the company when Sinyeo is on a warpath. Besides I have Soo-hyuk and Gaelin to keep company with.”
Ho-seok nodded, “Well Gaelin has taken a little break.”
“Why?” It surprised Yoongi that she would leave now, “What about the competition? Gaelin didn’t tell me either, she wouldn’t do that…”
“Who knows why she did it?” Ho-seok didn’t meet his eyes and Yoongi decided to let him leave.
