Chance in Hong Kong Part II
The Golden QuillSoo-hyuk couldn’t believe that the girl was drunk, he never had to deal with this sort of thing with Gaelin. He was so grateful that Gaelin was always in control and would never embarrass him like this. If his wife needed to let loose once in a while she would get drunk at home or go to their lake house. Of course, Gaelin had her silly moments when she was ill and tended to do all sorts of illogical things. Soo-hyuk found her most adorable when she was ill.
“I miss my wife.” He said aloud and stared at Woo Yerin who was right now slumped on the dinner table. He needed his House Master or Tanaka, but both were in Seoul and probably much more relaxed than he was. Soo-hyuk stood and buttoned his coat, rounded the table and crouched before the girl. “Yerin ah, I am going to take you to your room now.” he put on his most gentle voice, the one he used for children.
Yerin lifted her head and stared down at him, her eyes were glazed and she looked in need of some sleep, “but I want to stay here with oppa.”
“I have a lot of work in the morning and it is already late,” he tried to keep his frustration at bay, “What is your room number?” Yerin dropped her head on the table again determined to ignore his efforts to get rid of her.
Soo-hyuk noticed her bag and reached for it, “I am sorry, but you leave me no choice.” He looked through the bag and found the room key card. Thank God.
Soo-hyuk tried to conceal how drunk Yerin was as they walked to her room, luckily it was late and the restaurant was not busy. He was relieved when they were in her room. He laid her on the bed and took off her shoes. Somehow even this felt like a betrayal against Gaelin and he hated how dirty
