Withdrawal
The Golden QuillGaelin had a long shower and changed into her warmest pyjamas. "How are you feeling?" Soo-hyuk asked as he tucked her into bed.
"I am fine now, but I would like to see a doctor, just in case."
"I have spoken to the judges and they will only allow you to see a doctor if you withdraw from the competition."
Gaelin was silent but then she raised her head. a determined look on her face, "So be it."
"Gaelin, I know how much this competition means to the Song Household."
"Yes, but not to me. If my husband wins the Quill, then technically I would own it too right?" she winked mischievously at him and he shook his head.
"You really scare me sometimes."
"But Soo-hyuk keep in mind that through his plotting, Woo Minjae has got rid of one competitor and I think he has more up his sleeve." she nodded to the drawer beside her bed. Soo-hyuk took out the shoe and studied it. "That was at the bottom of that hole." Gaelin commenced to tell him everything she had learnt from Woo Minjae.
"I can't believe he would have done that, all for the dream he had."
"Oppa is not well. I suspect he was always a very lonely child and maybe we four played a role in how he turned out." Soo-hyuk placed the shoe back in the drawer and adjusted the bed covers, "You know, since I am withdrawing from the competition it means you can stay with me tonight."
"Only once you withdraw..." Soo-hyuk began.
