Jungkook woke with a start and opened his eyes. “Nuna?” he found Gaelin standing over his bed. “What has happened?” he sat up groggily, “Is everything okay?”

“Everything is fine,” Gaelin assured, “I thought we could have breakfast at the Club today.”

“Well, my schedule only starts in the afternoon…” Jungkook rolled over and reached for his phone that sat securely under his pillow. “It’s 7 am,” he groaned.

“Taehyung and I can go then,” Gaelin mentioned.

“No, I will also come. Give me half an hour to get ready.” He forced himself out of bed. “Why can’t we just have breakfast here?”

“I just feel like a change.”

Jungkook nodded sleepily as he headed for his bathroom, “I will meet you downstairs.”

The Club was always busy, it didn’t matter what time of day it was. Patrons were in the gym or enjoying breakfast in the main restaurant or in Jungkook’s favorite coffee shop. When Gaelin arrived with the idols, the Club was filled with the early morning regulars who seemed surprised to see them there at this time.

Jungkook spotted Kang Hwayoung as soon as they entered the coffee shop. He had told her to quit the job! “Maybe we should eat in the main restaurant,” Jungkook hoped that his family agreed. He didn’t want them meeting Hwayoung.

“I like it here,” Taehyung sat down at a free table so Jungkook had no choice but to sit as well. He hoped Hwayoung would not be the one to serve them but those hopes were dashed when he saw her approaching with menus. Maybe she wouldn’t be too obvious.

“Good morning!” Hwayoung greeted pleasantly as she handed each of them a menu, “I hope you are well today?” she shot Jungkook a questioning look.

“We are well,” Jungkook answered bluntly and opened his menu. Hwayoung hovered by their table with her notebook open, “Can you give us a few minutes?” he demanded. Hwayoung’s eyes widened at his dismissive tone, but she left the table to tend to other customers.

“She was cute,” Gaelin mentioned casually and returned her attention to the menu.

 “I didn’t notice,” Jungkook said but his eyes followed Hwayoung.

“I think I will have the fresh yogurt and fruit,” Gaelin said unaware of how nervous Jungkook was.

“Oh no,” Taehyung snatched her menu away, “Nuna! You need to eat more. I am seriously worried about this diet you’re on. Why do you need to lose weight? You are perfect.” He shot Jungkook a look for support.

Jungkook quickly nodded, they had noticed Gaelin’s rapid weight loss.  

“You’re both sweet. Don’t worry so much.” Gaelin smiled, “okay I change my mind. Maybe some eggs.”

“And toast,” Taehyung added, “and bacon.”

“Omo!” Gaelin swept her hair back, “I don’t think…”

“Nuna don’t think, just eat.” Jungkook winked, “I won’t tell if you won’t”

Gaelin was embarrassed at their display but she didn’t want to draw more attention to herself, “Fine let's go all in.” Gaelin lifted her hand to get service and Hwayoung appeared, “Are you ready to order?” she avoided looking at Jungkook.

“We will have full English Breakfasts with extra toast.” Taehyung ordered for them, “and three hot chocolates with cream.”

“With cream?” Gaelin shook her head.

“With cream then?” Hwayoung confirmed and Taehyung nodded. “Great, I will put your order through.”

Gaelin noticed Jungkook watching
