Salvation calls
The Golden QuillGaelin woke early and wrote up her report on the job. Then she sent everything in an encrypted file to Ho-seok’s remote server. The message connected to the Oracle Server and was pushed through her sites in Asia before making its way to the States. It was completely secure and untraceable and only Ho-seok would be able to open the file. It took an hour before she received the call. “What should we do?” Ho-seok asked, “It’s really quite extraordinary.”
“Did you listen to the audio file?” Gaelin looked up when Yoongi set a cup of coffee in front of her. She was in the back garden with her laptop and a cigarette. Gaelin put him on speaker.
"Now we know why she disappeared for those months after uni." Ho-seok laughed harshly and Gaelin grimaced. He was really scary sometimes.
“Morning or should I say good afternoon.” Yoongi greeted Ho-seok and chuckled when Ho-seok swore out of shock.
“Very becoming,” Yoongi mocked, “what? Surprised that I found out your game?”
“More liked regretful.” Ho-seok replied and they heard him sigh, “okay so you know, but hyung I did it for…”
“Spare me the emotional speech. I know why you both did it and I am grateful. But this information is sensitive. I am not sure I want to use it.”
“You are not the client, I am,” Ho-seok said evenly and they knew he was just as hardened toward Sinyeo as he had been before receiving the file.
