Staffs and artists start to find their seats inside the dining room. The room is huge enough to cater around 50 people for the dinner. Everyone seems happy seeing almost all people composing FNC Entertainment – musicians like FTIsland, CNBlue, NFlying, girl group AOA, the new boy group Neo School and actors and actresses. Among these are the new members of the family – Yoo Jae Suk and Ji Suk Jin. Also all staffs like managers, sound engineers, producer / directors and media relations personnel are also present.

People are greeting each other in their respective tables. The moment the food was served, everyone digs in thanking President Han for the luxurious free meal. President Han stands up to give a short message.

“As I look back from where we started, there were only few people – CNBlue, FTIsland and a few staffs. If we rent a place like this, they can play hide and seek. But look at the company now, we are really getting bigger, FNC family is getting bigger. Tonight let’s celebrate as a sign of showing my gratitude for all the hard work of everyone. To all artists, for your perseverance to train and practice hard for concerts, albums, to our actors / actresses and entertainers for giving the best entertainment to viewers and to all staff working their best behind the scene making sure our artists are at their best. CHEERS!”

“CHEERS!!!” Everyone says in chorus.

“Thank you everyone! Again, please enjoy yourselves tonight. To our newest members – Jae Suk-ssi, Suk Jin-ssi and Neo School.” President Han continues.

“Oh. We still have one more member. Gong Seung Yeon-ssi. Please come here in front.” President Han calls her name.

“Gong Seung Yeon?” “Who is she?” “Another member?” Everyone buzzes around upon hearing her name. But this name is a familiar name for Tiger Manager, Min Hyuk and most especially to Jong Hyun.

His heart bangs like crazy. Did I hear it right? He asks silently. His eyes instantly scan all the tables inside the room but there is no image of Seung Yeon. Min Hyuk who is sitting beside him taps him in his shoulder and whispers something. Now he is definitely sure that he heard the right name, Gong Seung Yeon. But what the hell is this about? What the hell is going on? New member? He asks feeling blank. He doesn’t know what to feel – he is nervous and excited to see her again but his anger towards this unknown situation seems to be above all his feelings.

“There you are. Come here Gong Seung Yeon-ssi.” President Han calls Seung Yeon in front.

She shyly walks in front after checking herself in the restroom. She already knows that President Han will introduce her to the whole FNC as agreed when they meet up at Starbucks the other day.

Flashback

“Hello. This is Gong Seung Yeon-ssi. I hope you are doing well. I have something important to tell you. When is the best time to see you?” She types in her phone. She stares at it for a moment and gathers her courage to press send.

“Let’s meet tomorrow. Starbucks in Gangnam near station 3’s exit. 3pm.”  This is President’s Han reply to her message.
