Gary walked out of the Lawyer’s office, feeling all relieved though his facial muscles were still tensed. But at least, he felt his heart had lighten, the frustrations, the strain in his heart had somehow all released after both his wife and himself signed the divorce papers.

Gil and Ha Ha were waiting for him at the lobby of the Lawyer’s office.

“Hyung, all good?” Ha Ha raised his thumb up. Gil glared at Ha Ha, snapped his hand down, signaling him to “retract” his thumb.

“What so good? He just signed the divorce papers. Keep your thumbs down.” Gil grunted.

“All good. Thanks buddies.” Gary tried to put on a false smile. Though he was relieved, when he recalled how his wife, Jamie Park tear after the papers were signed, he somehow felt bad.

He was the one who insisted to end the one year old marriage after he found Jamie was too aggressive and ambitious towards his and her own career. She was indeed the many reasons of the quarrels and misunderstandings between  Gary and Gil. She wanted Gary to take over the entire Leessang company, she invaded his creativity and music space, demanding him to make more commercialized music and lyrics. She also forced him and Gil to take up assignments when both think these jobs are not align with their career directions.

Jamie herself is also pushing her career in the entertainment industry. She discussed with producers on what variety shows and dramas she can take on. Many producers had to feedback to Leessang’s manager or even to Gary himself that, Jamie is not suitable for the entertainment industry and she should stop pushing her way through.

Jamie wasn’t that aggressive when Gary first knew her. His relationship with Ji Hyo was drifting. Though Running Man had finally ended, the whole world….all fans and friends and even co workers gave the Monday Couple all the blessings. 

“Running Man has finally ended. It is time for your to go after your true love. Made her yours. Running Man filming shall not be affected.” Jae Suk and Jong Kook injected confidence into Gary.

Unfortuantely, things did not work out for Gary and Ji Hyo.

Yes, Running Man has ended. It also seems that their faith which has been interlocking each other has also come to an end. Ji Hyo did accept Gary’s confessions. Both treasured the love they had for each other. But time is cruel and critical. They tried their best to accommodate each other’s schedule. Ji Hyo had accepted many overseas assignments, TV commercials from China, Movies from Hong Kong and drama series from Taiwan. That left her with little time and energy to date Gary.

“I got to see her once or twice a week when we are still doing Running Man. Now I only get to see her once or twice a month. Perhaps we had already missed the best moment to fall in love. We are just family now. Let’s end it before our relationship turned sour. We are still family if we stop here.” The couple agreed on the decision of breaking up after dating for 1 year.  Though their love drifted, they still care for each other.

Jamie then came along. She has big eyes like Ji Hyo but single eye lids. Smaller built then Ji Hyo. Like Ji Hyo, she is sporty and independent. Gary wasn’t attracted to her initially, but Jamie showered him with concerns. That touched Gary. They fell in love, got married after dating for 6 months.

Their wedding was low profile though Jamie wanted to grand ceremony. Gary always felt guilty about that. A grand
