Both couples did not get to watch the movie that night. Instead, they went for a double date at a restaurant nearby for dinner.

Hye Joo who is also working in the banking industry knew about Jong Kok though they never meet in person. It turned up that Kim Jong Kok is actually a BIG and famous name in the world of banking. “Yes, good.” She gave short answers. She ordered a seafood spaghetti, actually she wanted a steak like the rest but she was afraid that she will be a disgrace to her friends since her table manners weren’t good enough. So spaghetti is the safest, just need a fork and spoon.

“So Ji Hyo, how’s the business at the minimart? Any plans for expansion?” Hye Joo asked.

“Business is good. But I don’t know anything about expansion.” She replied.

“Oh….you didn’t proposed anything to the management? Since business is good like what you had mentioned.” Hye Joo continued to ask.

“Oh, here comes the dessert.” Gary quickly stopped the conversation. He could sense that Ji Hyo’s temper was raising.

“Yah! Yah! Why ask me all these. Didn’t Kang Gary tell you that I am just a staff? Just an ordinary staff who plays the role of a cashier, move goods around the mart, cleans the toilet, tag prices and serve the customers?” She cursed in her heart.

Gary, Jong Kok and Hye Joo continued to chat during and after dessert. She just kept quiet. She did not want to spoil the night by leaving early. Her eyes lids were getting heavy as the rest discussed about the policies in different banks.
