She was a Good Girl
Against It"Hyung, just give me my phone!" JungKook whined, grabbing at his phone from Jimin's hands. Jimin shook his head and held it further away, trying to keep JungKook at a distance away by placing his foot on the boy's chest.
"No! JungKook, stop! You've just called Seohyun like five times!" Jimin pointed out. JungKook quit wrestling for his phone, stood up, and ran his fingers through his hair with a frustrated groan.
"I just wanted to ask her something," he stated defensively. Jimin rolled his eyes.
"If she doesn't pick up the first time, she doesn't want to talk to you! And you shouldn't talk to her! She's only gonna end up hurting you again," he explained. JungKook shook his head and began to breathe hard like he was about to cry.
"No, Hyung, don't say that! She called me last night! Obviously, she still cares, okay? She was worried about me and she wanted to know how I was doing in Busan and-"
"JungKook, I heard how mad she made you last night. And you said that she kissed Kai a week after you broke up. Seohyun is not good for you, do you hear me?" He asked rhetorically to the younger. Jimin's parents weren't home, so JungKook took comfort in the fact that they wouldn't hear him breaking down.
"But what if she could be? She really could be. We could be in love again. I know for a fact that Kai isn't doing anything for her. Maybe she'll stop loving Kai. After all, she wanted to talk to me instead of him last night," he said, tears dripping off his chin because Jimin didn't understand how much it hurt to think Seohyun would never love him.
"Do you not hear how crazy you sound?" Jimin asked. JungKook sighed and sat on his hyung's bed with him. "Why do you still love her, anyway?"
"Because she was beautiful, and she was so interested in me, and she always took care of me and loved me. No one does that for me anymore. And Seohyun was a good girl and I was a bad boy. And then somehow, throughout our relationship, she made me weak enough to care when I built her strong enough to not. Now she's the strong one, and I'm weak. She was a good girl and I just want that good girl who loves me back. She ed me up," he answered.
Meanwhile, Seohyun sat in bed with tears in her eyes as she listened to the explanation. Jimin must've accidentally answered her call, but she didn't speak once she realized that he didn't know she was listening. He was so sorry, and now she just let him suffer when she noticed too late that she only wanted Kai because she loved him, too.
Why is love so goddamn complicated?
"Seohyun? Why are you on the phone with JungKook?" Kai asked as he entered her room and immed
