Thinking of You
Against ItJimin practically pushed the maknae off the bed trying to wake him up on Friday morning. "What do you want?" JungKook asked, his voice muffled in the midst of sheets and three pillows.
"Get up! You're gonna be late, which counts as something bad," Jimin pointed out, and JungKook immediately regretted talking to his hyungs as he got up and got dressed.
"Damn it, I can't tell you guys anything..." JungKook groaned. Jimin giggled and shook his head.
"No, you really can't. C'mon, move it!" Jimin chirped, clapping his hands for unnecessary emphasis. Those words were so familiar...
"Seohyun!" JungKook let her name slip from his mouth, almost instantly clamping a hand over his mouth when he realized Jimin was right there.
"Umm, who is that?" Jimin asked confusedly.
"It's no one. It's just me being the weirdo I am, like you guys always say," JungKook said with a smile, hoping off a miracle that it would work.
"Normally, I'd ask more, but you're gonna be late. Hurry up," Jimin commanded.
JungKook left to his classes, basically running like his life depended on it. Technically, it did, if he didn't want to spend his life with his alcoholic father. He didn't plan on slamming into someone while he was going full speed. Normally, he would've gotten up and pretended nothing happened, but he recognized the girl underneath him. "Oh, sorry," he said, pulling her up. "You okay?"
"Yeah, I'm okay, JungKook," Seohyun responded with a sigh as she dusted herself off.
"So, how are you?" he asked awkwardly. Seohyun giggled and rolled her eyes good-naturedly, another un-Seohyun-like thing that she would've never done.
"I'm fine, JungKook. How 'bout you?" she responded. JungKook sighed in relief that she wasn't mad at him.
"I'm doing very well. I'll see you after class, okay? I can't get in trouble again," he told her with a smile, waving to her before sprinting to his first class. He could hear Seohyun's snort behind him, but he didn't dare look back and risk crashing into someone else.
The day went fine, like usual. The classes were easy enough to get by, but something about today made it impossible to focus, and he hoped so much that it wasn't Seohyun. The girl had gotten into his brain recently and refused to leave his mind. He didn't have a crush on her or anything. At this point, the best thing they could be called was "friends."
"Hey, JungKook!" one of the triplets, Yuri, said to him with a friendly wave. He smiled and waved back, not knowing how to respond any other way. "Come here!" she said, motioning him over, so he had no choice but to obey and walk over to her. Other than publicly embarrassing himself and saying no.
"Hi, Noona," JungKook said cheerfully.
"Hey, Kookie. How are you?" she asked. Apparently, the triplets had a thing for small talk.
"Umm, I'm fine. And you?" he replied awkwardly, confused as to why they were even speaking to each other.
"I'm great. So I was thinking..." Those words meant trouble for JungKook and he knew it all too well. "You and Seohyun have been pretty huggy lately. Aigoo, you're so much better than Kai. That idiot barely liked her, and I
