JungKook sighed. They were both out of bed now. "Nothing. Just, it slipped out-"

"JungKook, when did you talk to Kai?" Seohyun demanded worriedly.

"Yesterday, after I dropped you off...?" JungKook answered, unsure of why he replied so easily and truthfully. He ran his fingers through his hair with a guilty expression, biting his lip and avoiding her eyes. "Seohyun, just forget it. I don't want to freak you out-"

"What did he say? Oh my god, what did he say?" Seohyun asked.

"He said he thought we were cute together so he's giving me a month to get over you before he takes you back. I'm so sorry, Seohyun! This is all my fault! I should've said something, done something, anything. Oh my god-"

"JungKook, calm down. Please," Seohyun commanded. JungKook pursed his lips and sighed.

"I'm sorry, I just... I don't know what to do about it, Seohyun. He's gonna take you away," JungKook said, trying way too hard not to freak out for Seohyun's sake. Seohyun smiled at his concern and stepped forward, cupping his cheeks in her hands.

"JungKook, how could he take me away from you? I'd just leave him and come back to you. I'd always come back to you," she assured him. JungKook smiled at the thought.

"Seohyun, I love you," he whispered.

"I love you, too. JungKook, quick question. What would you say if I told you I was getting my second piercing sometime soon?"

JungKook's entire face lit up and his eyes grew wide with excitement. "Oh my god, really? Are you serious? Where?" JungKook asked happily. Seohyun laughed at how eager he seemed.

"If I got one, it'd be in my ears, babo. No bellybutton rings," she responded.

"I was thinking a tongue or lip piercing, but okay. And are you actually going to? I know this great place back in Busan where I got my first hole done and we could both get it done together," JungKook suggested. Seohyun burst into laughter.

"Oh my god, JungKook! That's perfect!" Seohyun laughed, leaving JungKook very confused.
