The maknae sat there helplessly as his hyungs and noonas doted on him. "Guys, please stop," he tried, but there was no getting rid of them. He looked over at Seohyun, who was getting an ice pack, but for some reason, she had put it on the counter and buried her face in her hands.

"Guys, I'm really fine-"

"Dude, if I'd known you'd get into trouble, we would've gone with you," YoonGi stated.

"I'm fine, Hyung-"

"Look at him, Jinnie! He has a black eye and-"

"All of you, get away from me! I'm fine!" JungKook yelled out, getting off the couch and going over to Seohyun.

"Kookie, shouldn't you be-" Seohyun was cut off by everyone's stares.

"Seo, could I talk to you alone, please? In my room?" JungKook asked gently. Seohyun let out a deep breath, which she had apparently been holding in, and nodded. "Oh, and bring the icepack," he said, smiling. Seohyun followed him into his room. JungKook closed the door and sat next to her on the bed.

"JungKook-" He interrupted her with a kiss, making a small wince sound that she luckily didn't detect.

"Seohyun, I'm okay. Look at me," he stated, turning her chin towards his face. "Why are you so upset?"

"Because this was-"

"This wasn't your fault. God no, it was not your fault. I was being an idiot."

"B-But-"

"Seohyun, don't lie to yourself. You know this was my stupid fault," JungKook told her. Seohyun let her eyes wander down to his bruised cheeks and split lip.

"Doesn't it hurt?" she asked gently. JungKook smiled sweetly at her genuine concern.

"I'm fine," he said. Seohyun closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"I asked if it hurt. I swear, if you say that one more time, I'll go insane. I want to know if it hurts," she said grimly.

"Yeah, a little. But only when I touch it," he stated, holding the icepack on his eye. Then he smiled mischievously. "But don't pretend you don't think my swollen lips aren't somewhat attractive," he winked. Seohyun rolled her eyes playfully and pushed at his shoulder.

"Shut up, you babo," she exhaled with a smile. JungKook smiled back and placed a kiss against her lips, despite the fact that it hurt. Seohyun pulled back confusedly. "Doesn't that hurt?"

He smiled. "Just a little. Just because it hurts doesn't mean I'll stop kissing you," he stated.

"I don't want you to hurt," she said with a smile, kissing his cheek. JungKook grinned widely at the gesture since it was the first time she had kissed him, instead of him kissing
