2NEXO: THE JOURNEY- FINALE 1

“Shhhh!!!” Suho stated while putting his forefinger on his lips as everyone looked at him questioningly,

“You might wake up the dragon!” Suho whispered as they all looked up to see the dragon sleeping soundly in the cave.

Minzy saw the dragon in its sleeping form, its huge presence overwhelming the cave, she stepped forward and slowly inched herself near the dragon as she uttered in a low voice,

“Is this the reason Kris is missing?” Minzy thought to herself as she wiped a sweat on her forehead trying to hide the worry she was feeling inside

MESSAGE:

YOUR FRIEND KRIS IS NOW ONLINE…

Minzy’s head snapped up as she heard a breath escape the dragon’s mouth, she stepped back out of shock

“Minzy! Get out of there!” Kai uttered in panic as he tried to keep his voice down

Everyone saw the dragon stretched itself to show how massive it was, it was as wide as the cave as they saw the head stretch form the left down to its tail stretching as wide as the cave.

“Oppa! Kris is already logged in!” Minzy remembered to inform Luhan if Kris logs in

“Go search for him then, we will take care of the dragon.” Suho gave an encouraging smile towards Minzy, “We will take care of the dragon… go find him!”

“I have to log out and search for Kris’ IP address!” Luhan stated first looking at Suho, informing him of the situation and he then nodded at Minzy and smiled at her

“Neh! I will go ahead now!” Minzy waved a goodbye as she disappeared in the dark

Luhan logged out and Minzy went off to find Kris in the dungeon.

The dragon wakes up and released a deafening, thunderous roar inside the cave, echoing and making their surroundings shatter.

“Rawr!!!!”

Everyone let out their weapons as they stood their ground, readying themselves for the fight of their lifetime.

“Okay, this is it! Are you guys ready?” Suho exclaimed as he shook his hands to the side trying to rid himself of any nerves he was feeling.

“Has anyone fought a dragon before?” Lay asked and looked around the members as he saw the members looking around, asking the same question.

“Ani! This is my first time!” Suho replied as he stretched his neck side to side

“Then how do we fight this dragon then?” Xiumin wondered while scratching his head

Everyone looked around once again, everyone was silent, having no idea how to go about it.

They saw Sehun raise his hand as he stepped up proudly with his chin up and began to speak, “I did! We fought the hydra remember, it’s a water dragon”

“How did you do it?” Tao asked looking at Sehun seriously

“I don’t quite know cause I was just there for support, Minzy and Luhan did the dirty job… I was just there to heal them.” Sehun replied plainly making everyone’s anticipation drop, making them want to hit Sehun nonstop

“So you literally have no idea then?” Bom concluded

“What do you want me to do? It’s not an undead dragon!” Sehun tried to reason out seeing the disbelief in the other member’s eyes

“So you did nothing then!?” Baekhyun jested much to Sehun’s frustration

“What was I supposed to do then! I am a bishop! You know what? If ONLY BLESS could kill, I would have killed you now!” Sehun threatened as he walked up close face to face with Baekhyun

“What do you suggest we do then?” CL asked

“Well, if I have a giant robot mech and all the elements under my control with summoning technique, then I can do it all by myself” Sehun shrugged his shoulders as if it were that simple.

“Okay we got your point!” Chanyeol said as he finally got what Sehun was getting at, that they should ask Minzy and Luhan who were both busy with what they needed to do, Luhan was busy tracking Kris in the outside world, while Minzy was busy inside the dungeon trying to look for Kris.

“At least you had experience, give us some intel, dragons have similarities.” Suho stated as he looked at SEhun waiting for him to talk,

“Hydra has 5 heads and it simultaneously attacks, in this case… this fire dragon may only have one head, but do not forget that it has a tail and wings with blade sharp claws. You might think you have escaped its bite, but all dragons have its range attack.” Sehun’s tone finally became serious as everyone paid attention to what he had to share.

“What does a dragon eat for a snack?” Baekhyun began to throw some jokes again as everyone rolled their eyes upward

“What?” Bom tried to humor him

“FIRECRACKERS!” Baekhyun laughed silently massaging his stomach, “Get it? Fire crackers?! Hahahaha crackers that are fire… no? okay… I’m going to stop now.” Baekhyun lowered his head after seeing Kai give him the death glare slowly shaking his head from side to side, as if signaling him to stop already.

“So what’s the plan?” CHanyeol asked as he scrunched up his forehead, growing weary about the presence of the dragon just in front of them

“We do what we do best…Kai and Baekhyun distract the dragon, CHanyeol and Tao deflect every dragon attack; if you cannot deflect it block it; Xiumin, CL, DO, Chen and Lay, look for an opening, do not attack recklessly,  focus on counter attacks, Sehun, Bom and I will focus on healing, I have prepared potions for this.” Suho finally spoke after trying to think of the very sensible thing to do in that kind of situation.

Dara immediately knelt on the ground, not waiting for what Suho was about to say about her role in the fight, she was seen starting to chant when she was stopped by Suho

“Dara… reserve your mana for later, observe for now and use your power when you see fit, we don’t know what this dragon is capable of yet.” Suho planned to have one card up his sleeve, Dara is the second most powerful next to Luhan, and he knows that Dara needs the mana to cast her summons out, so he would prefer that Dara use it later after they gather enough information on how to fight the fire breathing dragon that has awoken in front of them.

“I can take this down by myself… with my ALPHA AND OMEGA blades, and my battle hunger skill… I will show them… I will show CL that I can do this on my own…” Xiumin thought to himself as he was imagining himself fighting the dragon alone and being the victor, standing on top of the dead corpse while cheering on with CL admiring him from afar.

CL while listening to Suho, was sideglancing Xiumin as she heard him murmur hearing some words that made her eyes widen in fear.

“I can take this. I can kill this… I can do this on my own… I don’t need their help.” Xiumin was muttering this to himself, not aware that CL has heard all of his non sense murmurs

“Yah! Pay attention!” CL shouted at Xiumin snapping him back to his senses

Xiumin just smirked at CL and ran off towards the dragon.

“That pabo!!! Yah! Get back here! We need to stick to the plan!” CL called out as she ran after the BERSERKER

“I don’t need a plan… my plan is to kill the dragon and that is what I am going to do!” Xiumin replied as he began to turn into his RED BERSERK mode,

“That stupid fool!” Tao uttered under his breath as he, too, went after the two who were already making their, planning to attack the dragon head on. Tao ran off and started chanting.

Xiumin was pumped up and was starting to go berserk as he bit his lip to feel pain to feed his BATTLE HUNGER skill and since it was not enough he slashed his arms to get stronger and stronger

“There is really no end to your stupidity!” CL shouted pertaining to how reckless Xiumin was, running off towards the dragon without any plan whatsoever

Suho was just shaking his head to the side while stating, “BERSERKERS are really a pain to have!”, as he massaged his temple worrying for the safety of both Xiumin and CL

“But they sure are strong!” Dara stated as she stood behind Suho and crossed her arms, watching the fight unfold before her very eyes.

“Aww… you like the BERSERKER more than me? Wait till you see me fight! Watch me Dara!” Chen uttered as he then drew out his BUTCHER’S KNIFE AND HOOK CHAIN. Chen sped off as well but he didn’t get that far, because Dara was already chaining him to the ground,

“Let them fight first…watch and observe!” Dara gritted her teeth, Chen could see how much Dara wanted to fight, but since they wanted to at least get out of this one alive, they need to be smart about it and study the opponent’s moves, its attacks and weaknesses if any.

“Just stick to the plan!!! Arasso?!!!?!” Suho shouted aloud trying to remind s of what they needed to do

DO disappeared and then the next time he appeared, he was already on Tao’s shoulder,

“DO look for a weak spot!” Tao exclaimed as he stopped trying to see what the dragon will do next

“I am.” DO replied plainly as he also stared at the dragon as if studying how huge it was compared to his height.

Xiumin ran off as he let out his ALPHA AND OMEGA sword, the dragon lifted up its arm to welcome his attack and Xiumin was already anticipating his sowrd going through the dragon’s flesh but it was tough, it caught Xiumin by surprise and he was stunned, he was shocked that he couldn’t even manage to slice the dragon.

“I failed! I couldn’t do it! I got ahead of myself again, how can I protect CL… I am so useless! I forgot already, what was I supposed to do now?  My blades are of no use!” Xiumin thought to himself as he struggled to defend himself from the arm of the dragon,

Tao was on the left of Xiumin and he saw that Xiumin was still in a daze and was defenseless on his side, the other arm of the dragon was about to wipe out Xiumin, he then summoned out his thousand hand massacre to stop the dragon’s arm from attacking.

CL saw Xiumin stop moving, he was frozen on his spot, she was running behind Xiumin as she summoned out her WHIRLWIND AXE as the dragon’s tail was about to whip Xiumin out, it was met with CL’s skill and she was successful in blocking the attack somehow.

“Yah! Snap out of it! Get out of there!” CL shouted at Xiumin as it worked as always, waking Xiumin up from his trance and retreated his position as he was now standing side by side with CL.

“This is my chance.” DO exclaimed as he jumped off as he met with the dragon’s eyes,

“Now you see me… now you don’t!” DO uttered and then let out his DEATHSCYTHE, with both of his hands equipped with his weapon, he stabbed the dragon’s eyes… he was successful in doing so… but then he saw that the eyelids of the dragon had a second layer, it opened as he saw the anger in its eyes.

Tao looked up and saw the dragon’s body burning up from the throat,

“DO get out of there!!!” Tao shouted aloud warning DO of what was coming,

DO looked down and saw that the dragon’s mouth was wide open and he could already feel the heat coming from the inside, he jumped upward and flipped back as the dragon let out its fire.

DO barely escaped it as he landed on Tao’s shoulder once again, his right arm was burnt but it didn’t faze him.
 

“I’m going to report back to Suho” DO stated as he looked at his injured arm

“And get your self treated.” Tao added as he saw DO go back to where Suho and the others were
 

Kai and Baekhyun ran off as they saw the dragon breathe its fiery anger. The two threw kunais simultaneously trying to get the dragon’s attention, once they were successful in doing so, the dragon with its remaining fire breathed it towards the direction of the two who immediately split up trying to confuse it. Kai went to the right as Baekhyun to the left. Whoever the dragon followed was the bait and the other one will do the damaging.

The dragon was more attuned to follow the taunting of Baekhyun as Kai then let out his dagger and tried to graze the side of the dragon.

Kai was shocked to see that his weapon has only dulled and the dragon’s scales are not even harmed.

“I need to report this..” Kai thought to himself as he hurried back to Suho
 

Seeing Kai and DO on their way back in a hurry means something is wrong, he gave out orders, “Chen and Chanyeol, back the others up!”

As DO and Kai made their way back..

 

“What happened?” Suho asked as he led DO towards Sehun to be healed,

“The dragon’s scale is too tough!” Kai reported as he tried to catch his breath as he supported his weight and leaned his hands on his thighs

“It doesn’t look like it has weak spots even the eyes have armor.” DO added as he winced in pain while Sehun started healing him.

“Damn.. there’s got to be some way to defeat that dragon... Luhan what’s taking you so long?” Suho was getting a bit frustrated, he didn’t intend for any of this to happen, as if setting out his guild members into slaughter, this was the first time, since his journey began for the dragon scales, that he felt unsure of the outcome.

Sure, it was just an online game, but the amount of time, the emotions, the bonds that have been made, every investment put into the game makes it hard for him to see his guild members having a hard time.

At Luhan’s place...

(clicking keyboard sounds)

“Okay… oh yeah!! Now I got you…” Luhan clapped his hands in excitement as he kept on typing into his keyboard trying to trace the origin of the bug

“Damn!! These are some serious bugs.. parasite bugs.. not your ordinary bug viruses.. this will take a lot of time. Hold on guys, I have a tougher battle to deal with here… now, if there’s a parasite, there’s got to be a host.. now where are you?” Luhan muttered as all of his focus and concentration are now on hunting as to where the host is as he continued to type and decrypt the bug.
 

Meanwhile, back at the cave where everyone was fighting the dragon…

“What’s happening here? Why am I attacking these players? What’s wrong with these controls? Everyone get out of here!!! I can’t control my movements!” Kris was shouting trying to signal the players to stay out of his way
 

As the 2nexo guild kept on fighting the dragon…

“Why wouldn’t they listen? I can’t control myself! Leave now!!!” Kris grunted as he moved side to side

“What do we do now?” Lay asked as he looked at Suho with concern,

“Got to think of something, but what and how?” Suho thought to himself, as he sat himself on the ground while massaging his chin,

“We need to pierce through those scales, if we want to survive this dungeon.” Bom stated after seeing how tough it was to deal the dragon some damage.

“I have an idea!” Lay uttered raising his hand in the air

“Okay everybody listen to me.. we need to pierce through those scales but our weapons wont work! So here’s what we’re going to do.” Lay stated while typing the same message in the guild chat, for every member to see

And as everyone prepares for the plan Lay made for them,

“I hope this works!” Lay kept his fingers crossed as he watched his plan take into action

“Let’s do our best people! We can do this!” Suho decided to give a fighting message,

“Okay here we go!” CL and Xiumin chorused as both of them went into action

“Let’s go!” Xumin looked at CL who was running side by side as CL nods

As Xiumin charged again letting out his ALPHA AND OMEGA blades, and once again his swords clashed with the dragon’s armored claws!

“CL now!!!” Xiumin shouted aloud as he looked at CL twirling her MJOLNIR above her head, gaining the much needed momentum and strength for the upcoming attack.

WHIRLWIND ATTACK!!!

As Xiumin changed his blade’s position pointing it to the dragon’s palm, he knelt down making way for CL’s attack

“Here goes nothing! AHHHHHH!!!!” Xiumin jerked his head to the side, as he watched CL attack

“Hyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!” As CL’s attack hit Xiumin’s blades, with such strong impact from Mjolnir hammer, which forced it to pierce through the dragon’s armor and successfully damaged the dragon and made it feel pain!

Everyone was shocked!

“It worked!!!” both Xiumin and CL hi-fived each other looking happy that they have succeeded.

But their fight was far from over… as soon as the dragon felt the pain and the damage was dealt towards it, something happened… the ground shook… the dragon released a mighty roar as it spread its wings… something tells the 2NEXO GUILD that their fight was far from over.
