“Let’s just get this over with…” Chanyeol uttered while fixing his chest plate, iron gloves and greaves on his legs.

“Don’t worry… this will be a short one!” Daesung stated raising a brow looking at Chanyeol

“The LEGENDARY EXCALIBUR is in your hands… let us see if you are worthy of that sword.” Daesung stated seeing Chanyeol letting out the sword from the scabbard.

Chanyeol saw Daesung let out his two-handed axe which didn’t surprise him that much… but what caught his eye was what was on his other arm… Daesung was wearing a shield… he is a Sentinel… a heavy tanker and a heavy damage-type of player… a rare class combination… that brought confusion to Chanyeol.

“How about this… if I win… you tell me what is your class combination… and if you win, you get to have my EXCALIBUR… I am tired of this job class anyway!” Chanyeol offered

“What is your second class anyway?” Daesung asked in earnest

“A mistake is what it is!” Chanyeol stated while preparing for their battle

A silence fell between them…

“After this PVP, if I prove that this class is useless… I will delete this character and make a new one!” Chanyeol uttered in a deep voice, which was heard by Suho and the other that brought shock to them.

“Ignorant fool! Don’t you know that with a Knight class, you can never go wrong!?” Daesung paused

“Any second class you pick will fit you perfectly as a KNIGHT! You just need to choose one that fits your style! What second class did you pick then?” Daesung continued

“All I wanted was to be the ABSOLUTE DEFENSE PLAYER… but it seems like I made a mistake in choosing my second class… I guess there is no such thing as a PURE KNIGHT!” Chanyeol shrugged his shoulders

“I haven’t met one!” Daesung uttered in a low voice

“Maybe the reason you haven’t heard of one… is because I was the only foolish one to make such a useless decision is because all the skills of a REBORN PURE KNIGHT is unclickable and unusable!” Chanyeol stated with a grunt

At the side of the arena, on the bleachers where 2NEXO guild were sitting watching as the battle was about to start… two members suddenly thought of something…

“Pure knight built… hmmm pure knight… pure knight… pure knight… who was it?” Luhan mumbled trying to remember who that player was

Chen secretly smiled as he clearly remembered what a PURE KNIGHT is.

“Ah! I remember now... he was my VICE CAPTAIN of the ALLIANCE GUILD during the PK WAR…

the guild leader of the GODS RISING IN THE EAST…

Without a word Daesung started to attack which was blocked by Chanyeol’s IMMATERIAL SHIELD… the impact of Daesung’s strike was so thunderous that it echoed throughout the arena.

Chanyeol then swung his sword which was met with Daesung’s shield as Daesung then renewed his attack once more smashing his axe towards Chanyeol, who in turn used his shield to block the attack, and since Chanyeol has a skill called the

MANA SHIELD

(a skill of a knight with the use of the shield, the shield absorbs the damage and the attacker also receives a certain amount of damage as well… it is based on a player’s mana)

Daesung anticipated this skill since he knows of the skills of a KNIGHT

“You know that Mana Shield skill of yours will do nothing to me right? I am a TANKER and an ATTACKER… that skill of yours is useless against me… I can take the damage and regenerate my HP! AHAHAHAHAHAHAH!” Daesung uttered while tilting his head in a laugh as he swung his axe and continued to bash Chanyeol’s shield.

Chanyeol was also dealing some damage towards Daesung, but it was minute compared to the damage which was received by his shield… because his mana was slowly draining from the damage caused by Daesung’s powerful axe.

“CHanyeol’s shield is about to give up! It has received an enormous amount of attack already!” Suho noticed as he saw Chanyeol’s mana depleting

“What will he do next… now that he has no shield to defend him from his powerful attacks!?” CL pointed out

“I have never seen him swing that sword ever… all I see him do is defend us from enemies and monsters… I haven’t really seen him fight!” Xiumin stated while watching Chanyeol block attack after attack of Daesung

“He is also wielding an axe the same as CL right?” Sehun noticed

“He can equip himself with a two handed axe with just one hand? That is something else!” Baekhyun uttered in seriousness which caught everyone’s attention, because for once he said something without throwing a corny joke first.

(NOTE:a two-handed weapon is used with both hands and is heavy and deals a great amount of damage compared to one-handed weapon, hence the reason for carrying the weapon with two hands, so for a player to use a two-handed weapon using only one hand is something amazing for them, because Daesung was also wielding a shield on his other hand!)

“What?! I was just merely observing… is that bad!?” Baekhyun shrugged his shoulders

“Chanyeol-ah… have you really not discovered your true potential yet?” Tao thought to himself as Chen looked at him knowing what he was thinking

“It’s no use… his shield is at its limit!” Lay stood up as he looked at the condition of the shield…

“Chanyeol! Withdraw the shield already!” Lay shouted aloud which caught both Chanyeol and Daesung’s attention.

“What is a PURE KNIGHT? Who is UKNOW YUNHO? Am I supposed to know him?” Baekhyun wondered as Tao looked at him as he rolled his eyes upward

“UKNOW YUNHO is the guild leader of a 5-member only guild… known as the GODS RISING IN THE EAST or simply DBSK, they are ancients if you may… they are considered legends of the game… if Chen hyung was a legend PK player… DBSK was a legendary guild so to speak!” Tao answered

“5-member only guild? How did they ever make it?” Xiumin wondered

“They don’t need more members… they have everything… a tanker, an attacker, a mage, a range player and a healer…” Dara added

“Yunho should have been the Captain of the ALLIANCE GUILD, he just turned it down and wanted to focus more on fighting with the CARNAGE GUILD.” Luhan stated in deep thought

“You wouldn’t have defeated me if I hadn’t fought and suffered from Yunho that time… Elementalist! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” Chen stated in a bright tone as they saw the fight continue.

“There is really no sense in using that IMMATERIAL SHIELD… you just bought yourself some time… you can really do no damage, in the state you are in!” Daesung smirked as he smashed his axe onto Chanyeol’s shield.

Chanyeol used his shield one final time, as the axe went into contact with the shield, everyone heard a loud sound, as if a woman screaming out for pain… it was the shield’s battle cry as it received its final attack.

Chanyeol looked at Lay as Lay stood beside the arena and readied himself to receive the damaged IMMATERIAL SHIELD.

“Don’t worry… I will fix her for you!” Lay nodded as Chanyeol then went back to the fight as he swung his sword towards Daesung’s axe.

Daesung was successful in dealing Chanyeol some solid hits… Daesung’s axe has negative states incorporated in every swing he delivers to Chanyeol.

First swing delivered leaves Chanyeol… STUNNED… unable to move, he tried to shake away his double vision and tried to walk it off and swing his sword aimlessly…

The second swing leaves him BLEEDING, which was slowly depleting Chanyeol’s HP, even his REGENERATION skill couldn’t keep up with the negative state,

“What else can I do? I am a sitting duck here! Is this how it all ends? This useless class I picked brought nothing but shame to me… aish! I have to count on one more skill before I give everything up!” Chanyeol thought to himself as he struggled to stand up and keep up with his breathing

The third swing left Chanyeol KNOCKED OUT, as everyone saw Chanyeol flying to the other side of the arena.

THIS FIGHT HAS BEEN DECIDED ALREADY… THE KNIGHT CAN DO NO HARM TO THE SENTINEL… IT IS OBVIOUS WHO IS GOING TO WIN!

I CAN’T WATCH THIS… THIS IS PURE TORTURE… THE ANGEL’S FIGHT WAS A SURPRISE BUT THIS FIGHT IS SO OVER MATCHED… THE KNIGHT IS CLEARLY OVERPOWERED BY THE SENTINEL!

“These fools don’t know what they are talking about!” Seungri uttered as the 4 remaining Carnage-BigBang members looked carefully at the fight

“They surely don’t have any clue what Daesung is up against… the fight hasn’t really started yet!” Taeyang uttered

“But it seems the Knight doesn’t know of the skill either! Heh!” Top pointed out as they saw Chanyeol lying on the ground after being Knocked Out by Daesung

GD was just lying on the bleachers not even minding the fight because it was boring him…

“I want to see it again… the glory days of the PURE KNIGHT! It was such a sight to see!” GD uttered as he raised up his hands and tried to cover the moon shining up above.

Chanyeol was left with only 20% of HP left which made him smile…

“If you are very familiar with a KNIGHT’S skill… then you know what will happen now right?” Chanyeol stood up as he dusted off his armor and walked slowly towards Daesung swinging his sword…

UNYIELDING

(skill of a KNIGHT, when HP is at 20%, the caster ignores status effect: such as stun, bleed, knock out, bind; the more he loses HP, the more his physical and magical defense goes up.)

Daesung smiled back at Chanyeol having something up his sleeves as well as he continued his attack on Chanyeol swinging his axe as Chanyeol just slashed his sword at Daesung’s…

BLINK ATTACK

(an upgraded skill of a SENTINEL, which allows him to deal 30 slashes non stop in different directions)

Chanyeol received blow after blow from the attack of Daesung’s powerful axe and shield… it wasn’t only the axe that was dealing damage to Chanyeol, Daesung also used his shield to deal some fatal damages towards Chanyeol.

Daesung appeared at the left of Chanyeol and smashed his axe towards Chanyeol’s chest armor which broke, then he appeared once again behind him and swung his axe towards his back which broke his armor, and then Daesung appeared above him with his shield smashing onto Chanyeol’s face, then to his sides dealing another attack and blow from Daesung’s axe and shield. Daesung then swung his axe which sent Chanyeol flying, casuing his limp body to be thrashed in the arena.

“Omo! Chanyeolie!” Bom stated covering from the horror of watching Chanyeol getting beaten up

“Is this really happening, I can’t bear to watch! Oppa!” Minzy stated hiding behind Kai

“Yah! I bet you weren’t like this when I was being shot on the leg by that TAEYANG guy, huh?” Kai stated looking at Minzy’s hiding form

“She found your jokes corny… for one thing!” DO uttered as he looked closely at what was happening inside the arena

Chanyeol was on all fours breathing heavily… he didn’t know if it was just his imagination or something else… but there appeared on the ground… words… a bunch of them… an oath of some sort… an oath of a KNIGHT

Daesung was about to give the final blow… he walked towards Chanyeol’s defeated state, raising his axe above his head…

“PABO! READ IT NOW!” Luhan shouted out loud knowing what was happening

“HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA! CAST IT NOW GIANT! CAST IT NOW! PUHAHAHAHAHAHA!” Chen uttered while laughing out loud

“Ah it finally came… now the fight begins!” GD stated as he sat straight rubbing his palms together in anticipation

“But Daesung hyung also don’t know of this PURE KNIGHT stuff, right?” Seungri asked aloud

“What is he going to read?” Bom wondered looking at Chanyeol’s defeated state

“What is going to happen?” Kai wondered out of curiosity, Minzy peeked from behind Kai,

“Look!” Minzy pointed out as they saw Chanyeol mumbling…

Daseung’s axe was slowly making its descent towards Chanyeol’s back ignoring the words he was mumbling, he was set to finish the fight with his one final blow.

As Daesung’s axe pierced through Chanyeol’s back and went through his chest, Chanyeol was still able to utter the words…

BORROWED TIME!!!

The full damage Chanyeol received with the piercing axe through his chest reversed and was converted to HP… the remaining 1% HP of Chanyeol rose up to 5%...

Chanyeol stood up and was surrounded by a dark aura… his silver armor turned into a BLACK ARMOR.
