FORTYEIGHT- RESOLUTION

After the fight of Suho and GD, the guild decided to hang out in the tavern and ready themselves for their journey, they have been side tracked for quite a time now... the 3 day rest became a week already and they needed to travel fast so that they can reach their destination in no time.

“Where is Chen?” Luhan searched looking at Tao

“Why are you looking at me? I am not his keeper, duh?” Tao rolled his eyes as he sat beside Suho

“Dara unnie has not been back also since the fight of Suho-oppa” Minzy uttered with worryin her tone

“Aigoo uri leader is such a powerful leader!” Kai stated sitting on the other side of Suho putting his arms around Suho's shoulders

“Yes, he is a powerful leader... a powerful user of potions!” Lay stated blurting out Suho's secret

“How much was the potion you used this time, huh?” Xiumin asked cheekily

“Around 5 times the amount of the YGGDRASIL ELIXIR you took from the dungeon last time” Suho uttered under his breath which brought shock to the players who knew what it was worth.

“Hyung... I need to ask for a favor...” Chanyeol disrupted their chattering

“What is it Chanyeol?” Suho asked with a serious face

“I need to be stronger hyung... I cannot fight with the state that I am in... now that I know that I have this kind of power in me... I need to learn my skills... before we face off the dragon... can we hold back the journey? Give me 1 week... that is all I ask...” Chanyeol looked pleadingly at Suho and then to the rest of the members.

“Let the guild decide then... I am not the only member here. I am okay with it.” Suho smiled

“I could use some personal time to visit my guild... so I am okay with it, too!” Kai uttered

“I have a joke...WHAT DO EGGS DO FOR FUN?” Baekhyun asked with such anticipation

Everyone just looked at him,

“What?” Lay uttered being clueless as to what was to come...

“KARA-YOLK-E!!! Get it!? Get it! Yolk as in egg yolk?! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!” Baekhyun smacked his thighs to which Lay also joined in his laughter

“You are such a funny guy... isn't he a funny one?” Lay asked looking for confirmation from the others

“Hyung... no...” Sehun shook his head in disagreement

“At least, he gets my jokes... you kill joys!!!” Baekhyun stated looking at Lay with his puppy eyed smile

“I need a bit of fun... so whatever my boss says, the same for me.” Baekhyun uttered as he grabbed a chair and sat beside Kai

“We need to go now... so that we can be the first to fight the dragon, you know that he only spawns 4 times a month? We are on the 3^rd week already... if Chanyeol takes a week of training, then we might lose the slot to fight against the dragon!” Bom pointed out

“I could also use the time to make and enhance your weapons, if you want.” Lay offered shrugging his shoulders

“Now, that's my kind of deal... I will help you gather all your needed materials!” Tao smiled in excitement, thinking of upgrading his MONKEY KING STAFF

“Wherever this 1KPK goes, I go... so I am up for it!” DO stated while being squished in between Tao and Lay

“He is so quiet and he looks so tiny, makes me want to keep him in my pocket!” Lay jested which earned him a death glare from DO

“Andwae... I have classes you know... time is what I don't have... finals are coming up... we need to go now!” Minzy reasoned out

“I am with Minzy on this one... I am also a student and time is of the essence!” Sehun agreed with his seatmate who was ogling at him because he agreed with her

“Yah, you two love birds stop those sweet nothings! It is giving me the creeps?!” Kai grumbled taking a huge bite off of the chicken ordered by Suho, as he saw Xiumin and CL whispering to each other.

“As a matter of fact, we were also planning on asking for some time to train ourselves as well, after watching how the BIGBANG CARNAGE GUILD fight... we need to be stronger!” Xiumin uttered as he looked at CL who also nodded in agreement

“For everybody's information, we are not going to date... arasso... we are going on separate solo quests for our characters!” CL said before anyone jumped to conclusions.

“So, it is decided then...we will take a leave for 1 week... do what you have to do, take care of whatever business you need to take care of... 7 days from today, we will set off for the DRAGON QUEST... complete or incomplete.” Suho stated as everyone nodded in agreement.

“What did you expect me to feel after hearing that story of yours?” Dara uttered with her fist balled shaking

“Anger...hatred? I assume you will feel hatred towards me because you and your family are suffering right now because of me!” Chen stated pointing it out to Dara, after he answered,

Dara couldn't help herself as she slapped Chen's face so hard it left a mark on his right cheek

“You deserve that you know! Unforgiveable!" as she broke down and began to cry, as she released all her hate and pent up anger...vulnerable, Chen held her up... then Dara finally feeling a bit of freedom from all of their hardships since her father went into a coma for 1 and a half years now.

“I deserve more than that... I know.” Chen stated hanging his head low

“Yeah...yes you do!” Dara uttered as she walked angrily towards where Chen was seated, the two bodyguards were about to stop her from coming near Chen when Chen just raised his hand as if telling them to just let her at him.

When Dara was standing in front of Chen, she then knelt down all of a sudden, bursting into tears,which baffled Chen, he stared looking at Dara's defeated state...

“I know you are having a hard time making ends meet, the hospital bills to keep your father in the ICU... I know they are about to pull the plug... the hospital has released your father...Mr. Park is on his way now to our hospital...” Chen stated trailing the last part to which Dara panicked

“What-... no... I am going to make some payments this week... that is what was written in my promisory note... I am to pay next week!” Dara panicked

“No worries... my noona is the medical director and we own a hospital... your father will be well taken care of... you don't need to worry about his hospital bills anymore...” Chen smiled

At those words, one of the bodyguards stood up and went outside as if taking a call and the other one stood up to follow after him.

“We are also relocating your family in the city... you are going to stay in a condominium near the hospital so that you can visit your father anytime and care for him and give him the moral support and love that he needs to recover quickly” Chen added trying to reach out to Dara's hands

With those words... 10 suited men entered the room which shocked Dara

"Chen, what is happening? Wait! STOP!!! What are you trying to do?!" Dara asked as she stood in front of Chen

"They are going to pack your things, wouldn't you want to be together with your family? If not, then we can arrange for this building to be untouched as long as you want to stay here... since this is near the university and your part time job." Chen shrugged his shoulders

Dara stopped and just stood where she was for about a minute and stated while wiping her tears...

"If my family was not experiencing this kind of hardship I would not have agreed to your proposal... but for the sake of my father's well being and my family becoming whole again... then yes, I am agreeing to what you are offerring... but this doesn't mean I am forgiving you!"

"I am not asking for your forgiveness, I am just taking responsibility for what I have done... but I am still hoping that in time you will forgive me." Chen raised his hands in surrender as he looked straight into Dara's eyes.

"Ever since our squishy has left the guild I have grown a bit lonely... ho-hum" a raspy voice uttered wearing a y outlaw outift

"Me too unnie... do you know where he is right now? I heard he joined a noob guild!" another woman's voice stated

"I am bored... time to get our boytoy back...c'mon BOA-ssi, time to play with our squishy once again!" the older woman uttered as they went out their headquarters.

"Neh... Hyori-unnie!"
