“Welcome to the Seoul National University Miss..Han Jin Sae?” Miss Chan asked as she handed you your schedule. “Yeah, that’s me.” You smiled before taking the schedule from her hands. “I hear you’re more on the musical side from your father. Is this true?” she asked as you took a while to think. “You could say that..” you nodded your head as she smiled. “Great then! Here are classes that I would recommend you take. The ones highlighted are the ones you have to attend regardless of anything but the ones in this box here,” she pointed at the blue column box before continuing. “You can choose any four from this box. Just put a check on whichever you’d like to take and hand over this form to me by next week. You will start all your compulsory classes for this week.” She smiled before she looked up at you.

“I hope you do well here.” She shook your hand before you nodded your head. “Oh one last thing.” She said as she took out a box of keys. She took out one after staring at it before handing it to you. “This is your room key. You’re sharing room 291 with a girl your age.” She smiled, again. For a second you thought she’s a weirdo smiling all the time but that didn’t really bother you. After taking the key you got up and bowed at her. “Alright, you may leave now! You have no classes today so just try to get yourself used to everything quickly yeah?” she beamed before you nodded your head. You slung your hand carry luggage over your shoulder before walking out of her office with your luggage behind you as you rolled it around.

You stopped along the corridors to hold your things properly as you tried to open the map of how to get to the dorms by walking from the university. When you opened the map, as much as you hate to admit it Luhan was right. The distance of walking was a little far as you had to walk across all the facilities in the university before you get to enter the dorms. “Let’s do this crap.” You breathed out as you wanted to reach for your luggage handle but it wasn’t there. Your eyes widened as you turned around only to jerk backwards when you see Minho smiling at you with your luggage in his hands. “What the heck?” you breathed out as you placed a hand on your chest. He seemed to be pleased with your reaction. “Don’t ever do that again.” You warned him as he chuckled before nodding his head.

You eyed your luggage and he seemed to step in the way to block your view of your luggage. “I’ll help you.” He smiled before you tried to reach for it but he would block it every way possible until you gave up. You turned around and decided to make your way towards the dorm with him following beside you. “So, what room number are you staying at?” he asked as he pulled your luggage. “Room 291.” You nodded as you stared at the map. He snatched the map away from you and you glared at him. “I was looking at that, you know.” You said as your glare slowly disappeared when all you could see in his face was a smile. “D-Dude, are you alright?” you asked as you waved a hand. He kept the map in his pocket before looking up to smile again. “I’ll lead you to your dorm.”

Throughout the whole walk it was pretty weird, well at least to you it was. He didn’t say anything apart from asking questions about you. The very few were what classes were you going to take, do you have any friends in this university. Just the basic questions, not the personal ones. “So are you free later today?” he asked as you furrowed your eyebrows. What the heck. You breathed out just as soon as you saw your room number. You stopped walking to look at him before taking your luggage away from his hands. “Look, I get it that you’re being really nice to me because of that incident and I appreciate it. Really, I do.” You nodded your head to emphasize on your point. “But I was drunk. And what happened that day, stays at that. Just because we shared a kiss doesn’t mean we’re a ‘thing’.”

You couldn’t read his expression but you could tell he wasn’t happy. He nodded once before handing back to you the map. “F-Forget about it then. Good luck with everything.” Was all he said before he turned around to make his back face you. You could see him hesitating to leave but after a heavy sigh he left. Of course you felt a little guilty but you had to say something. What? Just because you share a kiss with a guy that means you’re together with him? Since when does that policy apply? “Just forget about it, and it’ll be just fine.” You nodded before turning around to jerk backwards when you see a person in front of your luggage.

You placed a hand at your chest before taking in deep breaths. The people around here have got to stop giving you a heart attack. “What are you doing here? Stalking me?” you hear Luhan’s voice and your eyes shot open. You scoffed before pushing him aside to get your luggage. “Me? Stalk you? Don’t flatter yourself, idiot.” When you got your luggage, you dragged it until you reached the front door of your room. You took out the key to unlock it when you could feel Luhan beside you. Turning your head to look at him you asked, “What?”

“You’re staying in this dorm?” he asked as he pointed at the door. You rolled your eyes before raising a brow at him. “Oh no. I’m not staying in this dorm but I have the key to this dorm.” You could see his expression change from a good one to a bad one. “Just to think I was being nice.” You hear him snap at you the moment you opened the door. You pulled your luggage in before walking back to the doorstep where he stood there. “No one asked you to be nice.” With that being said you slammed the door in his face. “You’ll regret doing that!” he shouted on the other end with a bang on the door. “Try me you little blondie.” You retaliated with a bang on the door for him to hear.

“Well you seem friendly.” You hear a voice behind you say along with a thud. You turned around only to see a girl with a headset around her neck sitting down on her bed with her back leaning against the bed rest. “Thanks, I can sense the sarcasm.” You chuckled before she smiled as she got up to walk towards you. “I’m guessing you’re my roommate?” she asked as you nodded your head before showing her the key. “That’s the reason why I have the key.” You put away the key and she offered a handshake. “The name’s Lee Chaerin but you can call me CL. Twenty-one and I major in vocals.” She smiled before you shook her hand. “Han Jin Sae. Not really sure what I want to major in yet.” You shook your head as she chuckled before pulling her hand back. “Well I’m sure we’ll get along just fine.”

After a few hours of unpacking and getting used to the room, you were alone since CL had to go for her class. You found out that she’s actually a rapper under her own band called 2NE1. She said she would introduce you to three of her friends when she brings them over. She seems like a pretty decent person and you knew you could get along just fine with her. Your phone vibrated and it was a phone call. You reached into your pocket to pull out your phone and it was a call from Sehun. “Miss me already?” you chuckled as you could hear him sigh on the other end. “I miss you to death.” He was using his dramatic voice and that made you crack into a smile.

“How’s things over there?” he asked as this time it was your turn to let out a sigh. “It here you know? Who will come over randomly in the middle of the night just to cook ramen for me?” you asked as he chuckled. “How about I transfer to your university?” he asked as you knew it was a joke. “Don’t make promises you can’t keep.”

“How do you know I can’t keep that promise?”

“Because I’m smart.” You boasted as you hear a scoff on the other end of the phone. “You? Smart?” You were about to say something when he continued, “How true.” He chuckled before you chuckled a little. “Sehun! Two black coffees!” you hear Kyungsoo’s voice. “Say hi to Jin Sae for me!” He beamed and you could hear him already. “Got it!” Sehun shouted back before he got back to you. “I sort of have to go now. Kyungsoo says-“

“Tell him I said hi too.” You cut him off and you could tell he was smiling. “Call me later alright? I won’t sleep until I get your call, so you better call.”

“Yeah yeah yeah. Get back to work.”

“Girl please.” Was all he said before he hung up. You looked at the watch and there was plenty of time left to spare as it was only 11.20a.m. You clicked your tongue before getting up from your bed that was opposite the room from CL’s. Yours was beside the window while hers was beside the wall. You took your bag pack before deciding to write the song for EXO-M. You walked out of your room and made sure the door was locked.

She walked out of the dorm to take in a deep breath before analyzing the area. The university was definitely a nice place to be at. She walked towards the university and when she reached in front of the building she stopped at the entrance where she remembered Sehun giving her a kiss before he left. She chuckled softly at the memory until her thoughts were interrupted by a cough. She raised a brow but she turned her head a little to meet with Minho’s eyes. She turned to look at him and she gave him a nod to achknowledge his presence. Before she could turn to walk away, he gripped onto her wrist. As much as he hated to admit it, she was right.

Just because they shared a kiss doesn’t mean they were together and he felt stupid to assume things like that. He couldn’t help but treat her like his own as she resembled his girlfriend who died in a car accident four years ago. When he saw her in the sidewalk bench on that night she was drunk, he couldn’t help but just offer to help her because he wanted a chance to be close with a person who reminded him of his girlfriend he once loved so much.

“I-I’m sorry for assuming that you and I had something going on.” He spoke up as she turned around as he let go of her wrist. “Let’s just start over?” he asked with his eyebrows raised but he lowered them when she didn’t respond. She nodded slowly before breathing out a soft, “Fine.” From a distance, Luhan was walking by when he stopped to see what was going on between Minho and Jin Sae with Lay by his side. “Hey, isn’t that Minho?” Lay asked as the two stood in the middle of the pathway just to look at the two of them. “Who cares?” Luhan asked as Lay chuckled before shrugging his shoulders. “Minho likes her.” Luhan raised an eyebrow before turning to look at him.

“What?” Lay smiled before glancing at Luhan. “Isn’t it obvious?” he asked before he looked back at Minho. Luhan joined Lay to look at the two. Minho was walking side by side Jin Sae as their backs were facing them. Luhan could see that Minho wanted to put his arm around her shoulder but he pulled back his hand when Jin Sae would turn to answer him. Lay smiled in amusement when he saw Luhan’s expression change into a dark one when he saw Minho’s gestures. ‘And I can tell you’ll like her too.’ Lay thought before he wanted to nudge his friend but he couldn’t help but enjoy this moment.
