Victoria paid a visit to the villa of Minho’s family after a long time. It seemed like she had planned how to work out what she wanted.

Minho’s mother welcomed her happily. “Oh, Victoria! It has been long.” She gave a warm hug to Victoria. Their relationship had been very close.

“I’m sorry auntie, for not visiting you. I got really busy lately.”

“It’s okay. Let’s have dinner here. I was just going to eat alone. It’s great now that you are here.”

“Alone? Where is Jooyeon then?”

“She has gone to her school’s field trip. She will come back tomorrow.”

“Oh, I see. Yes, sure. I’ll have dinner here.”

They both moved to the dining room and Victoria took a seat beside Minho’s mother. They both started having their dinner with many foods prepared on the big table.

“You look thinner than I saw you last time. Do you have problem?” Minho’s mother asked.

“Oh, there’s nothing. I just got really busy maybe.” She made an excuse. After being ignored by Minho, she really got depression and didn’t have too much appetite.

“So, how’s your family’s company?”

“I think it’s doing really great since my dad is so busy. I heard that he got a lot of projects for the company.”

“That’s good to hear then. Actually, my company is not doing too well this year. I think it’s the best choice to combine with other company to keep moving on.”

“Then, auntie should find a proper and suitable partner for Minho later.” She added while smiling.

“Do you think I have to still look for it? I think that person already sitting beside me.” Victoria just smiled shyly. “Oh… what’s the meaning of that smile? Aren’t you and Minho are very close? Do you guys have special relationship that I don’t know about?”

“Actually… auntie, we indeed have that kind of relationship…” She added while smiling bashfully. She was willing to do anything to get Minho including lying to his family.

“That’s really nice to hear.” It seemed like Minho’s mother really approved of Minho and Victoria’s relationship. All of a sudden, the cell phone of Minho’s mother rang. “Excuse me for a while.” She said to Victoria before picking up the call.

As Minho’s mother was speaking with the phone, Victoria could see the expression on her face changed and eventually, she dropped her cell phone to the floor as she looked too shocked.

Victoria immediately got up and rushed to her. “Auntie, are you okay? Auntie…” Victoria held her who almost fell due to the shocking news that she just heard. “Auntie, what actually happened?”

“Minho… Minho… he…”

“Huh?! What’s wrong with Minho?” Victoria started to feel uneasy about this.

“He is involved in an accident…”

“What?!”

Victoria and Minho’s mother immediately rushed to the hospital after getting the bad news about Minho. As soon as they arrived there, Minho had to been moved from the emergency room to the operation room. It seemed like he needed an immediate operation. Now, what they could do was waiting for the operation to end safely.

After 5 hours, the operation finally ended. The doctor went out from the operation room and they immediately approached the doctor to find out Minho’s current condition. “Are you his family?” The doctor asked.

“Yes, I’m his mother. How is his condition now? Is he okay?”

“The operation succeeded but he is still in coma. He didn’t have a severe injury physically but he received a quite strong hit on his head. For now, we can’t do anything to find out if he will have a side effect from the hit on his head. We should wait until he gains his consciousness later.”

His mother hove a relief sigh but she was still worried especially there might be an unknown effect to Minho’s health which could only be found out later after he was conscious. “Ok, thank you doctor.”

The doctor slightly bowed his body and walked away.

“Auntie, I think you should go home now. You must be tired. Don’t worry about Minho. I’ll spend night here to take care of him.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes, don’t worry.”

“Then, remember to call me if there is any change to Minho’s condition.”

“Yes, I will.”

After being in coma for 14 hours, finally Minho regained his consciousness. He opened his heavy eyes and saw the ceilings were spinning as he still felt very dizzy. His head was bandaged. He closed his eyes back before opening them again and finally, he could see properly now.

He was wondering where he was now and what happened to him actually. He was asleep for so long. He looked around the ward, trying to recall what had happened to him. He spotted a girl was lying down on the sofa in the ward.

He tried to get up from the bed but he suddenly stopped as he felt an extreme pain in his head. “OUCH!!” He held his head.

Victoria who was asleep, woke up after hearing Minho’s voice. She immediately looked at Minho who was in bed. “Minho, are you awake now?” She asked happily while rushing to him. She helped him to sit up properly on the bed by holding his arms.

Minho stared at Victoria’s face with his confused face.

“Why?” She asked out of curiosity.

“Who are you? Are you someone that I know?” Minho frowned as he looked at her.

“What? What are you talking about?” Victoria looked very shocked. “Do you really don’t remember me?”

Minho shook his head. “I tried to remember everything but my head just feel too hurt.”

“Ok, ok. Don’t worry.” Victoria comforted him. “I’ll call doctor.” She walked away from the ward to call the doctor in-charge for Minho.

After being conscious and showing that kind of reaction, Minho was immediately went under examination to find out his real condition.

As Victoria was waiting outside, Minho’s mother came over after getting a call from Victoria about Minho had gained his consciousness. “Is he really okay now? Can I see him?”

“For now… we can’t see him yet. The doctor is examining him.”

“Why? Anything happened to him?” Minho’s mother asked anxiously.

“I’m not sure too but… he said he didn’t remember anything at all. Including me, he didn’t even recognize me.”

Not too long after, the doctor came out from Minho’s ward. Minho’s mother and Victoria immediately rushed to the doctor.

“How is my son? Everything is fine, right?”

“I think we should talk about this in my room.”

Minho’s mother and Victoria followed the doctor to his room. They didn’t feel good about this. There must be something had happened to Minho.

The doctor started to explain about Minho’s current condition. “Like I said before, he received quite a strong hit on his head. Now, from his condition, we can see that it did affect his brain a bit. That’s why, he lost his memory.”

Minho’s mother looked very shocked. “Then… then, that means… he can’t remember anything at all?!”

“Yes, that what it seemed has happened.”

“So, if there something we can do to get him recovered from losing memory? Please say it. I’ll do anything. Just make him recovered.”

“We can’t do anything to help him unfortunately.”

“So, is he going to live like that for the rest of his life, not remembering anything from the past, including his own family?” Minho’s mother started to cry.

“Auntie, calm down…” Victoria patted her to comfort her.

“There is a possibility for him to recover his memory and that depends on how he himself is doing. It might take long, a few weeks, a few months, a few years and we can’t avoid the possibility that he won’t recover.”

“Is not there anything else we can do for him?” Minho’s mother asked still carrying the hope.

“You can try to help recovering his memory fast by getting him used to his past or any memories which are important to him. These things can help to stimulate his brain. But, for now… it’s better to let him have a rest since he is just conscious. Trying to recall his memory may cause the pain in his head.”

“Ok, thank you, doctor.”

Victoria and Minho’s mother went out from the doctor’s room. They went to Minho’s ward to see him.

When hearing the sound of the door was opened, Minho turned his head to see who the person was coming. He tried to sit up since he saw there was someone else with the girl that he saw before. He thought it might someone that he knew too.

“It’s okay. You don’t have to get up.” Minho’s mother asked Minho to keep lying down on the bed.

Minho listened to her and he stared at her before asking. “Are you someone that I know too?”

When she heard herself that her son really didn’t recognize her, just made her tears fell to her cheeks. “Yes, I’m your mother.”

“Oh… I… I’m sorry…” Minho looked very guilty especially he saw his mother’s tears.

“It’s okay, it’s not your fault.” Minho’s mother forced a smile to ease her son’s heart. She his hair gently while staring at him lovingly.

“Though I don’t remember you, you did feel familiar to me, mom.” Minho tried to comfort her.

“Thanks, my son.” His mother finally smiled happily.

“Tomorrow, I’ll visit you again.” Minho nodded as a reply. “Take care.” His mom walked out from the ward and left Minho with Victoria.

Seeing his mother left, Minho asked Victoria. “You still didn’t introduce yourself to me. Who are you to me?” He asked as he looked curious of Victoria’s identity to him.

“Oh, you are still curious about that?” Victoria gave a smile at him and she sat on the chair beside his bed. “My name is Victoria.”

“Victoria?”

“Yes, since I’m older than you, you always call me noona.”

“Then… what kind of relationship do we have?”

Victoria remained silent for a while before answering. “Actually… I can be considered as your fiancée.” She lied. It seemed like she took advantage of the situation that happen to Minho to get what she wanted.

“Fiancée?” Minho looked quite shocked. “Are you sure?”

“Well… it doesn’t reach that point yet but we are in that kind of relationship, special relationship between man and woman…” Victoria suddenly became anxious with Minho’s question. “Why? Do you remember something?”

“No… no…” He shook his head. “It’s nothing.” He didn’t know why he felt what Victoria just said was hard for him to believe. He didn’t remember anything at all. However, he did get different feelings from his mom whom someone he didn’t remember but he did feel warm and familiar with but with Victoria, it’s just different. He did feel distant to her. “But… why aren’t you wearing the ring?”

“Huh?” Victoria didn’t understand the unexpected question from Minho. “What are you talking about?”

Minho showed the ring that on his finger to Victoria. “Isn’t this supposed to be the couple ring? Then, if we are in that kind of relationship, I thought you have that ring. Since I’m conscious, I have been wondering about this ring… wondering if I have someone special in my life…”

“Oh, yes!” Victoria immediately made an excuse. “When I got the news about your incident, on that time, I just finished showering. I might have forgotten to wear it back as I was too worried about you.”

“I see…”

Seeing Minho looked was convinced by her lie, she hove a sigh of relief.

“Can you help me with something?” Minho suddenly asked.

“Yes, of course. What it is?”

“Can you tell me how my life is? Who I am really? And, all the important persons around me?”

At the Soshi Girls’ villa, the girls kept observing Yuri who looked very worried and concerned about something. She couldn’t stay still since they came back from the school.

“Yuri-ah, what’s wrong?” Jessica became the first to ask.

“I couldn’t reach Minho!” She said with her concerned face.

“What?!” The girls asked in disbelief. “Are you that worried just because you can’t reach him only a day?” They thought Yuri just being too worried for nothing.

“It can’t be like this!” Yuri suddenly got up and walked towards the door.

“Yah, where are you going?” Sunny asked Yuri.

“I want to go to Minho’s villa. I really feel uneasy about this.”

“Yuri-ah, don’t you think you are just over-acting?”

“He said that he will meet me today but he didn’t even come to school and he even turned off his cell phone. How can I be not worried?”

Yuri knocked the door of Minho’s villa. Not too long after, Taecyeon came to open the door. He looked quite shocked to see Yuri coming over. “Oh, Yuri-ah, come in.” He moved to the side to let Yuri come in and they both walked to the living room.

“Where is Minho? Is he at home?” Yuri took a glance towards Minho’s room.

“Honestly… even I don’t know what actually happened to him…” Taecyeon said hesitantly as he was worried about Yuri’s reaction.

“What?! W… what are you talking about?” Yuri could sense that there was really something wrong. She won’t feel uneasy for nothing.

“He also didn’t even come home last night.”

“What?!” Yuri asked in disbelief.

“Don’t worry, I think he is staying at his family’s villa. This morning, I called his mother.”

“Then, what did she say?”

“She said don’t be worried about Minho since he is fine. And, she also said that he won’t stay with us anymore. I meant, from now on, he will move back to stay with his family. And, just now… his family’s bodyguards had taken all Minho’s things.”

“Hang on… I don’t get it… what is this supposed to mean? What would Minho suddenly moved out? And, he didn’t even care to come here by himself? He didn’t tell anything to me at all.”

“Yes, I also don’t get it. His mother didn’t even let me to talk to him. His cell phone is also off. I don’t know what actually is going on.”

“But… how can this be?” Yuri felt very weird of this situation. She thought it was just too sudden for her to accept it. Minho wouldn’t do this… there must be something happened.

“To tell you the truth, his mom doesn’t really agree with Minho’s decision to move out from his family’s villa and stay with us… so, I also don’t know what to say now…”

“So, you don’t ask her more what actually happened to Minho?”

“No… actually, his mom is quite scary, you know…”

Victoria started telling everything that she knew about Minho’s life. And, she even brought along the picture to let Minho recognize the person that she was going to tell him.

“Firstly, right now, you are studying at Ying Ye high school and you know, you are really famous at school, you have a lot of fan girls.”

“Really?” Minho smiled.

“Yes… and you are also the captain of basketball team at your school.”

“Captain?” He looked quite amazed and shocked at his own ability. “To be a captain, I must really good at playing basketball.”

“Yes, you are the ace in your team.” Victoria added proudly.

“Then, how about people around me?”

Victoria showed a photo of Jooyeon. “This is your sister, Jooyeon. You guys are really close to each other. I think later, when your mom permits, she will come to visit you.”

“She is cute, no wonder I’m close to her.” Minho smiled warmly seeing his sister’s photo.

Next, Victoria showed a photo of Taeyeon. “This is your cousin. She also is studying at Ying Ye high school. At the same time, she is also a singer.”

“Singer?”

“Yes, she is a member of girl group, Soshi Girls. These two are the other members.” She showed him the photo of Jessica and Sunny. “They stay together including one of their friends, Yoona. And, you are close to them too including the boy groups who are under the same company, Super Boys, Donghae, Onew, Wooyoung and Sungmin.”

“I see…”

Later, Victoria showed him the photo of the members of basketball team. “Sungmin is also a part of basketball team. You are especially close to him and him. You guys are best friends.” She pointed at the photo of Nickhun and Taecyeon. “This is Nickhun and this is Taecyeon… But… I don’t know if you still considered him as your best friend.” She added later referring to Taecyeon.

“Huh? Why did you say that?” Minho didn’t understand the hidden meaning behind her words about Taecyeon.

“You will understand later if I explain about this last person.” Victoria finally showed him a photo of Yuri. After his eyes lay on Yuri’s photo, Minho took the photo and stared at it for quite a long time. He didn’t know why but this person just felt too familiar to him and somehow, he could feel that this person did have an important effect in his life.

“Who is this?” He finally asked after a moment staring at her face in the photo.

“She is your girlfriend…”

“What?!” Minho asked in shock.

“I meant… she’s used to be your girlfriend, so I think she is your ex-girlfriend…”

He thought no wonder that he did feel affection towards her when he saw her photo. She used to be someone that he loved. “But… if she is indeed my ex-girlfriend, why did you show her photo? Is she still affecting my life?”

“Actually… the reason why you are involved in this accident… maybe a part of it is because of her.”

“What?! What are you talking about?! She caused me to be involved in this accident?! She is the reason why all of this happened to me?!” Minho asked in disbelief.

“No… I don’t mean that she is directly caused it but… I found out that she did meet you before this accident happened. I meant… she might have said something to you that caused you to be so angry.”

“Hold on… I don’t understand… what it was supposed to mean?” Minho frowned.

Victoria started to make a big lie about Minho and Yuri’s relationship and how bad Yuri was to him. “You love her very much before but she cheated on you with your own best friend.” Victoria showed Minho the photo of Taecyeon that she was referring to, also at the same time, explaining why Minho won’t be able to consider Taecyeon as his best friend anymore. She took advantage of the fact that Taecyeon really did like Yuri.

Minho kept his eyes on Yuri’s photo and later, the hatred and sadness could be seen in his eyes. He clenched his fist in anger. He looked very angry and because of Victoria’s lie, he started to hate Yuri very much.

“This incident really gave a big scar on your heart and I think, until now… you still can’t forget her completely but don’t worry, I understand your feelings.” Victoria put her hand on his hand to comfort him. “I will keep staying by your side and help you to forget her. We can start anew and be happy.”

“You don’t have to be worried about how I feel. I don’t feel anything for her anymore and she no longer has a place in my heart.” Minho said confidently as he looked very angry at Yuri.

Victoria gave a hug to Minho and patted his back to comfort him. “Yes, I’m sure you will be fine.” She smirked for getting her plan worked out.
